Josh came over for an inspection and estimation today, and I am so pleased it was him! He was very personable, respectful, and knowledgeable. I ask a lot of questions and I feel comfortable with how honest his responses were while using evidence-based examples. I appreciate how comfortable Josh made roofing feel as opposed to daunting.

Josh took his time and explained everything in detail. He took great pictures and even called me out to see exactly what is happening with my roof.

Quick and efficient, other than Contrustion sounds, it was very quiet. Clean up and protection of my property was great. I am very pleased with the work performed and the entire process. Josh in sales was great. The project manager Jeffrey was conscientious, making sure in advance that we'd selected shingles whose warranty requirements could work with our roof. I am remiss and delayed on this review especially since Best Choice Roofing did such a great job from the sale to the finished roof. Ricky and Rob came over and spent almost 2 hours inspecting the roof and then sitting with us and explaining step by step the process and had materials and samples to show us. Let’s face it nobody wants to buy a new roof but it is needed and we felt great after meeting with Ricky and Rob. Ricky coached us through the rest of the process and made us feel like we were his only customer! Attention and explanation on every single detail. Appreciated Josh and Rob doing an inspection. I was expecting a sales pitch, and was pleasantly surprised when they walked through their inspection with me and explained my roofs current condition, and made recommendations of things that I could do on my own! Will definitely consider them if/when my roof needs replacement.

This was seriously the best meeting we’ve had with any home repair company ever. Rickey was SO honest about houses issues, stayed for probably an hour just to talk and explain the situation and all of our options. And explained why they were turning down the job, because they don’t specialize in my type of roof. It’s such honest and trustworthy business for them to turn down money when they could’ve just said yes and done the job as best they could. They want everything done PERFECTLY and I respect them so much for that

I judge competency based on two factors: the caliber of the people performing the work and the final result. In regards to BCR, they achieved the highest level on both accounts. My sales rep was Rickie. He listened and then provided reasonable options. Once agreed upon a plan, Jeffrey and Abraham explained what the next steps would be. They delivered a a quality roof. Then, upon approval, delivered a series of changes that attended to problem areas. I never felt pressured or suspected an attempt to perform unnecessary work. Additionally,, Jeffrey, Abraham and the crew worked long hourss on day one to seal the house in advance of the impending rain squalls.on each day, the workers proceeded methodically, not hastily. At the end, they cleaned up the area and provided a walk around so I could see what was done and why. BCR. has earned my respect, appreciation and unequivocal recommendation.

My Roofing experience was excellent from beginning to end. When Josh and his associate came for the free estimate they were very thorough. They spoke honestly about what needed to be done, how that would be accomplished and presented a breakdown of the cost. Josh was friendly and professional. His knowledge was impressive and his communications made me very comfortable.
The project manager, Jeffrey, was very efficient as to lining up the whole process.
He explained everything that was to be done from start to finish. He introduced himself and assured me the crew would show up for day one, do this that and something else. Day two the roof was finished and looked lovely. The crew worked very hard and efficiently. They cooperatively worked together to accomplish the roof in 2 days time.The crew boss came and inspected everything, even the clean up. Great experience all around. From our sales rep Rickey, to the project manager Jeffrey, to the crew that did the work, everyone was professional, courteous, and informative about the process, from start to finish. Every change to the project was a necessary one due to prior shoddy installation. All changes were approved by me before the work began, and were explained in detail.

The one addition to the plan that was outside the scope of the original work that I added was done with no hesitation once they explained to me the additional charges and they had my approval to go forward.

My experience with BCR, was very pleasant. Josh helped us pick out the best product for our needs. Josh visited me today regarding my roof and gutters. He is a very pleasant and informative person. I received a quote on gutter covers and how they would improve the drainage and further protect my home. I will be contacting him as sion as I work out the budgeting issues. So glad to meet him.

The roofing crew was amazing! They were so considerate of the kids and were great! They were polite and cleaned up daily and as they went. The y were very thorough in their work and the roof looks awesome!

My experience started with Jason, who knocked on my door. Normally I don't like canvassers but when I asked him for a business card, he actually had one. Great impression. (Others don't have business cards.) Second, Jason didn't push the issue when I told him no, I'll think about it and call the office. (I never follow up with a call.) However I did.

Next day Rick and Joshua came to my house. They inspected my roof, showed me photos, explained everything that was going on with my roof, took the time to answer all my questions and never made me feel that I was taking too much time. They were very patient. Excellent customer interaction.

I chose to meet with the representative from Best Choice Roofing because my neighbors, whose opinions I value, had recently had their roof replaced by BcR and were extremely happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone involved in the process. Theirs was a ringing endorsement. The two-man team headed by Rickey Macklin arrived this morning to inspect my roof and talk to me about everything I needed to know to make a good decision for myself. They listened to what I wanted, did not try to talk me into spending beyond my means, offered alternatives and solutions... the list goes on. And they were respectful, helpful and fun. Josh was great. He took the time to explain how roofing works and after inspecting our roof, didn’t try to sell me a new one. Instead he referred me to a roof soft wash service to extend the life of our current roof. Very professional and conscientious.

They did a thorough inspection on top of the roof & in my attic then they sat down with me and explained everything about the roof & attic space and the way the company operates and materials used Looks & sounds like a great choice for lots of people and good quality products. It’s takes longer than most people think would take for a inspection with BCR but at the end of it you have a lot of good information about the materials and how they work very professional

I did not get service from Best Choice Roofing, but their salesman Justin gave me a demo and requested a leave a review based on that. So, here we go.

Justin is a friendly, pushy salesman. I was told his visit, which was to give an estimate for gutters, would take 10-15 minutes. All in, it took 45. He arrived late, spent 15 minutes taking photos, then spent 5 minutes walking around the house with me asking questions about the project. Then another 5 asking increasingly personal questions. While I tried several times to hint I didn't want to be having the conversation, including by trying "yeah, its not something anyone wants to talk about", I eventually had to force the conversation to end by responding "ok, moving on" to a question about my partners employment.

Once inside, where the demo was to take place, I opened by telling him I would not be making a decision today because I would need to shop his estimate around. I'm not an expert, and I didn't prepare for this BCR just knocked on my door and asked it I was interested in a free quote. He said that was fine, "I'm just looking for a YES or a NO". I pointed out that was still a decision, and he said fair.

He gave the demo, it took about 15 minutes. It was fine, nothing special.

Then he got to the quote, and asked if we could sign papers. I reiterated I wouldn't be making a decision today, he reiterated he was just looking "for a YES or a NO", I reiterated thats still a decision, and he said "so a NO then".

Yeah. I guess so.

EDIT: After asking me twice to leave this review, he has now asked me to take it down... twice. I wouldn't have even left the review if he didn't push for it.

We called Best Choice Roofing because we had a leak coming from our ceiling into our upstairs bathroom. The tech came out to inspect and found that it was an old pipe flashing that needed to be replaced. The repair was quick and easy. Jeffrey was clear and quick with responses to questions we had. No more leaks after the repair during this last rain.

Our siding was due for a replacement. I put the project off for a few years due to personal reasons. Our project manager, Jeffrey made the entire process very easy and our new siding looks amazing!

I couldn't be happier with the job Best Choice Roofing did for us. Jeffrey helped us through the entire process and communicated every step of the way. We talked through several options and everything from the inspection to the installation was very thorough. I would absolutely recommend this team.

Josh and Justin were great. They helped explain everything about the roofing system and we should be getting done in a couple of weeks.

Josh was very thorough in his inspection of my damaged shingles. He crawled into the attic to check for moisture with his equipment and went on the outside of the roof. He took time to explain the details of the damage and what repairs would and wouldn't work. He even gave suggestions about attic insulation and gutter maintenance that weren't part of the project but were very helpful. When he gave me the quote for the project he seemed sincerely interested in finding a price that could work with my budget and was not pushy about needing me to make a commitment right away.

The installation team was amazing—they worked efficiently through freezing temperatures and rain to get the job done, which took four days due to the weather. I was initially worried about debris and potential damage to my yard, but the cleanup was thorough, and there was no evidence left behind. My roof is now completed and I can't say enough about how happy I am with the care and thoughtfulness, as well as expertise with which the project was completed. My house is unmarked by any falling shingles, my plants were preserved intact, and overall everyone did a fantastic job. I will and have recommended BC Roofing to my friends.

These guys are very polite and professional. Viktor came by asking if I wanted a free roof inspection and quote. Although I got a new roof installed 10 years ago, my homeowners insurance is trying to say I need to replace it or they'll drop my policy. Getting a free inspection seemed like a great way to determine if my roof is as sound as I suspect it to be, or if the insurance company's threats had merit. Josh came out the next day and did a great job. He explained roofing terminology and why certain situations can damage a roof. He did a thorough inspection and determined I do not need a new roof at this time, suggested some helpful roof cleaning tips, and offered to call my insurance agent to let them know my roof is in good shape. Whenever I do need to replace, I'll be calling these guys.

Victor and KJ knocked on my door last week and offered to have some of their crew come do an inspection. They were courteous and personable, and scheduled a time for their inspectors to come by. The next day, Josh and Rob showed up to do the inspection. They took time to understand why I requested the inspection and explain their process, which included inspecting the exterior roof, inside the attic space, and even the soffits and facia. As is typical with most external sales roles, I expected their inspection was going to be used to convince me I need to replace my roof in order to make a quick buck. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they reported their inspection indicated the roof was in overall great shape, the underlayment appeared to be intact and holding up, and, with the exception of one spot, the facia and soffits were good. Their ultimate recommendation, use some exterior caulk in a few places where the gutter was leaking. I was impressed with their professionalism, genuineness, and their needs-based approach in conducting business. My roof is good for several more years, and, if I don’t do it myself, I’ll definitely be giving these guys a call .

I just finished the inspection and estimate process with Josh and my experience has been honest, truthful, professional and easy. I have the information I need to make my decisions for next steps. Most importantly, my initial expectations were managed because I know that my 20 year old roof cannot be repaired and must be replaced. There's always the "How much" and "What I'm getting" part of the value proposition; but, for me, the "What is possible", "What will you do" and the "Why (or why not)" I should pursue one solution over another is key. This is our primary residence, a critical piece of the envelope of our home and the roof over our family -- a vital element in our everyday lives. Josh, thank you for your patience and professionalism.

Had the sales crew from BcR to check out our roof situation. After their assessment we discussed how they weren’t the right team to do our needed repair. Then they walked me through all that they found and suggested what I need to ask to make sure I do find the right team. Main reason for not being able to do the job was a flat roof issue and engineering needs that were outside their offerings. Excellent communication and service that was provided.

I had a great experience. Jeffrey Lin was my project manager and was there from the beginning to the end. The crew that worked on my house did a fantastic job. Cleanup every night was excellent. I have found one nail since they left, and I had multiple layers, with shingles, coming off. I would highly recommend Best Choice Roofing!
It looks like I got a new house!

I own a 1940's home in Central Beaverton. This was a challenging job, as their were two asphalt roofs on top of the original cedar shingle roof, and the roof pitch was quite steep. There were challenges in venting the roof properly as well, since their were no provisions made for eave vents in 1940. Additionally, the job was done just before Christmas, with a very narrow window of non-rainy days. BCR's crew beat the rain by doing the complete tear-off, laying down new plywood and felt in a single day. The quality of work was exemplary, and I am extremely happy with the care that was taken in clean-up. They made sure I got the Owens-Corning warranty, and my sales rep Jeffrey was there every step of the way. On top of everything else, their price was better than any other quote I received on this job. I am giving them 5 stars, and they earned them all!
