We had to have our roof replaced due to hail damage this spring. After contacting a couple of different companies, we decided on Eclipse. They replaced our roof, skylight, and gutter guards. Trey was our contact and managed the project timely from start to finish. He made working with the insurance company very easy. Highly recommend for ease of communication, transparency, arriving on time, and post-work clean-up. The process was as hassle free as is possible with these types of things.

We’ve been DIY-ing our home renovations, tackling everything from flooring to fixtures, but when we started shopping for windows and siding, we decided to get some professional quotes. While we hadn’t yet made a decision, we discovered something we definitely didn’t want to handle on our own—hidden water damage on the second floor while replacing old carpet with vinyl flooring. A++ Replaced the roof, gutters, and gutter guards on our 100+ year old home. Alec and Trey were awesome! Great guys to work with…took the stress out of a stressful situation. They were the best estimate we received (and STILL came in under budget), no high-pressure sales (actually told us what we DIDN’T need), tarped our leaking roof for free until they could get started on the replacement, and were the only company we got a quote from that offered to meet the insurance adjuster in person to advocate on our behalf. Communication was top notch throughout the entire process…responded to calls/emails/texts immediately, called or stopped by multiple times per day, and addressed any concerns immediately. Eclipse Roofing and Restoration replaced our roof in June, 2024. The company came recommended by a neighbor who was pleased with their work. The entire team at Eclipse Roofing is one of the best in their field. They took our roof down to the roof boards and replaced rotten boards before putting the new roof on. They did things the right way instead of taking short cuts. They did a beautiful job with the shingles and installed vents all the way across the top of the roof to help vent the attic. After the job was finished, a supervisor came and inspected the roof. We DID NOT find any nails in the yard or driveway. The cost was comparable to other roofing companies in our area. I highly recommend Eclipse Roofing and Restoration.

Went looking for a quote for a new roof and the guy they sent out went on a very awkward 45min rant about politics & race.
It was very awkward and I was extremely uncomfortable.

We ended up going with a family-owned Latin roofing company. Did a great job, took him a day and was 1/3 of the price you all quoted.

This experience was s several years ago but I was afraid of retaliation for making this review.

We recently had Eclipse Roofing address some issues with our roof, and despite a few bumps along the way, we are pleased with the overall outcome and especially with how they handled our concerns.

Firstly, they did a fantastic job fixing the roofing issues we had. We had a problematic dead valley and a spot that needed kick-out flashing. Both of these fixes were handled perfectly, and we are very happy with the results. We had water leaking into our great room from the dead valley, and Eclipse Roofing was able to identify and fix the problem effectively. This gave us great peace of mind.

However, we also wanted to have a skylight installed, and this is where things didn't go as smoothly. Believing that getting work done while we were out of town would be a good idea turned out to be a mistake. I've learned my lesson never to have work done on the house without being there to supervise. We were unsatisfied with where the skylight ended up.

What stood out to us was how Eclipse Roofing handled our dissatisfaction. After discussing our concerns with James, he was willing to work with us to move the skylight to the correct location. We immensely appreciated this commitment to ensuring we were happy with the end result.

In conclusion, while there were some issues along the way, Eclipse Roofing's professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction shone through. We are happy with the finished work and would recommend them, just be sure to be present while the work is being done and express any issues that arise early and clearly.

Eclipse roofing installed a roof and gutters on our home in April 2024 and we couldn't be happier. Everything was on schedule and James communicated with us throughout the entire process and even sent pictures of the repairs being made to the decking. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant, respectful, and knowledgeable, from the office staff that called to schedule the job, to all the workers we came in contact with during the job. We were impressed with the professionalism of all involved, which is something hard to come by in todays world. My family has owned a flooring business for 60 plus yrs and you are only as good as your name. We quickly realized James lives by that motto with his company as well. We are thankful for the advice James provided to us in choosing the color of the shingles as well. We weren't really sure what to go with and probably would have chosen a single color roof like we had previously. He was so helpful in explaining how much more curb appeal we could achieve with the multicolored shingles he suggested, and he was absolutely right!! We have had so many compliments from our neighbors on the roof and matching gutter colors. Our home has been much improved by Eclipse roofing. But the most important aspect of all, is the quality work they provided, with attention to every detail large and small. We are confident this roof will last our life time with no issues. We hired Eclipse for a roofing job in Fall '23. The guys on site were very courteous and efficient. They completed the job in one day (albeit one very long day). The quality of the shingles and the installation was fantastic. Alec Simpson was our primary contact and he was great to work with. I haven't always had the best of luck with contractors, but I can't say enough good things about Eclipse.

My story:
We had a section of the front of our roof ripped off in a windstorm in April 2023. We filed a claim with our insurance company. The insurance company was an absolute nightmare to deal with. They fought like hell not to have to pay for our roof. We were dealing with another big name, local roofing company who honestly tried to get it done. After trying for several months, that company gave up, and we were left holding the bag.

I ran into James by chance, and told him what happened. He said that that didn't sound right, and he'd be happy to look at it. I am so glad I took him up on his offer. He was awesome! I truly believe he made it a personal mission to see our claim through. Our insurance company put up a fight with him too, at every turn. He made sure that we got every penny we were due to put our house back to the condition it was in before the storm.

Take-aways:
1. Do your homework on insurance companies. They are not all the same, even with "premium policies" like the one I had. I recommend calling a roofer or an automotive body shop, and ask them what insurance companies are easy to work with.
2. Save yourself time, trouble, and sleepless nights, and call Eclipse Roofing first. They are responsive, knowledgeable, clean, courteous, and extremely professional. We couldn't be happier with the job they did for us!

What a fantastic company! When our home was damaged by early spring storms, we reached out to many different companies for estimates to have the damage repaired. This company is awesome. I had a minor roof leak that was dripping out of my exhaust fan in my bathroom. Other roofing companies I called wanted to charge me thousands to do a bunch of unnecessary work. Like installing a new skylight that had nothing to do with the issue. Eclipse caulked the skylight and a vent pipe, and I haven’t seen a leak since. This is a company you can trust not to rip you off.

Working with David Aldridge at Eclipse was a great experience. David was responsive and professional and worked with State Farm on my loss. The crew was professional and left the roof and property in pristine condition after the tear off and re-shingle. Highly recommend.

A major windstorm knocked out power for almost a week and tore off roof shingles. After power was restored, we turned our focus to getting our insurance to replace the roof. The first adjuster tried to make the case that only part of our roof would be covered, which of course was unacceptable. Eclipse owner, James, personally came out to do his own, much more thorough inspection, and documented much more damage. James also pointed out that the insurance company was required to replace the whole roof, not just the damaged sections, because Kentucky is a color-match state. James vowed to fight for us with the insurance company and that's exactly what he did. Despite having many other jobs, and much bigger ones, James devoted much of his time setting things straight for us. Roof looks great and James has made everything right. If you need a new roof or repairs, you should go with Eclipse. If you don't, do your homework, be careful who you choose, and know your rights.

I would just like to share my pleasant experience I had with Eclipse. I was having a leak around my skylight and after a thorough inspection David said he found my problem and he caulked it up for me. I had another company come in prior to David and they told me I needed a new skylight. I'm so glad I had another opinion and didn't jump into putting a new skylight in. We just had our roof replaced by Eclipse and we are so pleased with our experience! Our project manager, Alec Simpson, was exceptionally professional and communicated with us throughout the entire process. The installation crew was here at 7 am the day of install and didn't leave until the job was completed, well after dark. They cleaned up all of the debris and nails, leaving not a trace that they were ever even here. The final outcome speaks for itself!

During the recent wind storm I submitted an inquiry online for a roof inspection and was contacted the same day to come out that day for an inspection of my roof. Upon inspection by the owner James himself I was immediately informed of what damage I had and my options. I was not pressured to move forward or make any decisions and was advised I was would receive a quote within 48 hours. As promised, I received a quote within 48 hours! After signing the contract the office staff made sure to keep me informed when I could expect my roof replacement. The day of my roof replacement the employees were promptly at my property at sun rise and worked diligently until sun down, cleaned up and completed the job in one day. My roof was replaced as agreed, I am very satisfied, I was extremely impressed with the clean up as well! James and his entire staff were very punctual and professional. I highly recommend! I wanted to leave a review of Dan who was the project manager I worked with. I had a window issue and he gave me a range of options to include letting me know that there were DIY options in my situation that would be much cheaper than replacing the window. I could’ve easily been taken advantage of in this situation as I am not handy And honestly, probably would have gone with a much more expensive option had he not given me information about the situation and it’s entirety rather than just trying to sell me something. I am grateful for his honesty and integrity. I have worked with eclipse in the past and always been extremely happy and this occasion was no different. Highly recommend eclipse as a company and Dan in particular as a project manager.

After we discovered our roof had significant wind damage we had several roofers out to give estimates. When Mr. Reynolds of Eclipse came out we learned our home had a premium 50 year shingle which was significantly more expensive than those being quoted by others. Our insurance company wanted to use a lesser quality shingle (cheaper) and we ended up in a protracted, harsh 6 month battle with them.

With advice from Mr. Reynolds, we and he, stayed engaged with the insurance company. Once we got the state insurance commissioner's office involved the insurance company finally agreed Mr. Reynolds was correct and approved having Eclipse replace our roof. If we had not found Eclipse and Mr. Reynolds, our insurance company would have happily replaced our roof with a lesser product!

Once approval was received, Eclipse replaced our roof with a beautiful new one in a timely manner. Their crew completed the very large job in two days. Everything was done in a professional manner and we have had no problems to date. We are happy customers and would recommend Eclipse Roofing to anyone.
