The Home Depot - Rock Springs, WY

Chris the forklift operator, is godsend. He could’ve just let us load up our own trailer with a liftgate but instead he went out of his way to help us load our trailer and get us fully loaded in twenty minutes. He’s a fast and extremely competent operator and this Home Depot is extremely lucky to have this guy.

Bought a refrigerator from them not knowing they don’t stock them in store anymore, they told me 2 week delivery.
Two weeks later a 3rd party delivery crew shows up in a moving van, drops the fridge off the back and breaks it. They tell me it will be another two weeks to get me a new one.
Two more weeks later I get a email saying it has been delayed another week and a half. I cancel the order, and go buy a fridge from another appliance store, they deliver next day.
Five and a half weeks later I get a call that Home Depot is delivering a fridge. I call Home Depot to cancel it a second time they say they will. A week later the delivery guys are knocking on my door with a refrigerator from Home Depot?!
I tell them to cancel it and call Home Depot again to cancel it and find out why my money isn’t in my back account from the canceled refrigerator, they tell me 3-5 business days and it will be there.

It has been 7 weeks now and no refund and I keep getting put on hold for 10-15 mins before getting put back on hold or told I will get a call back from someone that can help me with this!

TL:DR - Home Depot does not stock appliances and uses 3rd party installers that break or damage products without a care in the world. And the refund system is beyond a joke.

Often times I just enter stores like this to dream of what I would like to have in my home once I settle down somewhere after my husband is finished driving across the 48 states. However, I was followed and often made to feel as though I was not supposed to be here. Instead of asking me how could they assist me it was just constant staring and watching me around the store. Although I didn’t have a purse or a cart to carry out anything.

The sad part is I actually own stock in the company.

Great store except for the paint guy is kind of a donut. The staff in the rest of the store are exceptional. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. Highly recommended!

We were loading sheet rock and this worker asked us if we needed help and we said yeah and then he left so we did it by our self’s and then he seen us walking out of the isle and then asked if we got it and didn’t even if we needed help loading it in our truck but this other worker who just got done helping another costumer ran over and helped us load it and also when we were loading the Sheetrock into our cart about 4 workers looked at us then walked right past us.

The lumber was okay. Seem to be a bit over dried and brittle.

The help was about non-existent, especially if you needed in a locked cabinet where they are starting to lock up everything in the electrical section.

I'm getting sick of irresponsible people affecting everyone who wants to shop. This has become a joke in my eyes, and it's sad to see this at a local small town store they are locking up some items. I pretty much got to the point that if I need something, I will order it online rather than drive 100 miles to visit this store.

My wife and I were looking for a milwaukee combo set and we found one that was on clearance. It was a 1/4in impact driver, a impact drill, 2 batteries, a charger, and a carry bag. When we asked for help looking for it the manager said it was only for the 2 items and not for the rest of what the combo pack contained. He even offered $50 off of the $210 it was on sale for. That's great but worthless without the batteries and charger!!sounds like false advertising to me.

Thor at the Rock Springs store was AMAZING! From start to finish. Friendly helpful and kind. Smile on his face. He exemplifies customer service. We got a Dewalt lawn mower. He helped us load onto a cart, checked us out and right out to load. Thank you for your EXCELLANT SERVICE THOR!

Great experience here. Thor helped us with everything, from locating things in the store, to helping us load up the truck. Great service and great selection at the store.

Found most all the materials I needed. What they didn't have, the store associates were really helpful to direct me to who can order the material for me. One of the managers called the vendor to ensure they sent the right materials needed.

We don't go in there often, but when we do, we're almost always asked by at least one employee if we need help. If we say yes, they are always so accommodating at helping!!. And offering other suggestions that might work.
Plus they do the free kids workshop the first Saturday of every month which we LOVE

Super helpful employees all around who are able to tell you the aisle and how far to walk down them to find the item you're looking for.

I do wish we had a Lowe's around here to price match. Seems a bit overpriced from other locations. Great service and they did have what we needed

Staff was wery nice and helpful. Greg in electrical was super friendly and very knowledgeable about my needs. Store was very organized. Cashiers were friendly and professional.
