The Home Depot - Houma, LA

I appreciate that they’ve listened to people’s input and added 2 military Veteran parking spaces! The layout of this store is a bit nonsensical at times and could use some redesign and thought, but most of the people there are very helpful.

I went just as the store was opening. I was shopping for fertilizer and had questions about different products. A little short, dirty blonde woman in the garden department was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and helped me to find the right products. She was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Great employee!! Wish I could remember her name, it started with an A.

I ordered a grill a week before Easter
Lie #1. Website said it would be delivered the next day. It was delivered more than a week later.
Lie #2. I contacted Home Depot the day after the order and requested it be canceled. I was told that it was. I received an email that is was canceled. 6 Minutes AFTER the cancellation email, I received a notice that the grill had shipped.
Lie #3. I received an email saying the grill had shipped. It was not shipped. A label was created and it sat in the warehouse for another couple of days before it shipped.
Lie #4. I was told that the delivery driver would call before the item was delivered. I planned to tell the delivery driver that I was refusing delivery as instructed by Home Depot customer service. The delivery driver did not call.
Lie #5. After the grill was delivered without notice, I contacted Home Depot customer support again. They told the that they arranged pickup for the next day. It was not picked up.

I still have this grill. I now have to figure out a way to load it into a truck and bring it back to the store in person to hopefully get a refund. If it was just one false statement, i could call this a mistake. 5 in a row is complete and total incompetence at best. Deceit and froud is the more likely answer. This has been such a terrible experience, that I have deleted my Home Depot app and will never place an order there again.

While this store has some great associates, I can no longer recommend HD. I spend a lot of money here, a lot. They push this pro membership. You are allowed one return without a reciept then you are on uou own. Not even store credit. I spent almost 400 dollars an tried getting a store credit, return, on a unopened roll of joist tape. Basically sence HD can not control their controll, great customers are expected to take the loss. Well, lowes here I come.

My grandpa raves about the customer service that he received when he walked into the Home Depot. He said Miss Trina said good morning to him and asked if she could help him, he thought that she was the most wonderful person in the world because she walked him to the item, then walked to the checkout and made sure he received his military discount. I would like to thank Miss Trina.

It makes me angry to go to this business because of the waste of time you have to waste on the employees wow they are worse than a turtle and if you tell them something they get in the way they insult you hear they think we have the same time as them the truth is our time costs a lot of money that's why I changed to lowes

Never a bad experience always found what I needed there and if they don't have it at the store they make sure they it gets ordered and delivered to your home if you want

Wished I had seen the previous reviews from other buyers… but, I also became a victim of the scam Home Depot is nowadays, regarding delivery of appliances. Took off Friday for a delivery that never arrived, didn’t get a call or any sort of notification of cancellation of delivery. We called at 7pm, and they said it appeared the truck was doing deliveries until 9pm… nothing. Then, called back at 8pm, and were told we were rescheduled for Monday, because the trucks for Sat were already loaded, to call Sunday for info on Monday’s delivery time block. Called Sunday, and then they said the warehouse in Larose is closed on Sunday, so they don't know if the stuff is actually loaded on the trucks for Monday. And that next available delivery date is at least for next week; obviously with no guarantee of the delivery happening at any point, or even a refund of the delivery fee, since it is an inconvenience now that a day off work was wasted, and potentially a second day wasted too. Monday’s story: the warehouse just got the appliances delivered… so, they had ghost washer and dryer in the Friday truck ??? DO NOT BUY APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT, and definitely DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAILURE OF DELIVERY SYSTEM.

I purchased a LG washer , and told me it was going to be delivered on January 18 from 7 to 9 pm , At 5 pm call them and they told me it was on the way , great I said , 7 pm I called them and said the washer never got put on the truck!? So I call Home Depot the next day ! To see what happened, they told me is a third party thing , your getting your washer until the 28 so I cancel the order!!

Looking to get a tuff shed and Kevin was extremely helpful in explaining all the different sheds and features. Will be getting a 16x22 barn style shed. Absolutely satisfied with the service!!
