We recently had damage from the storm at the end of June. I live in CG and have always had issues with companies in CG actually showing up and providing quality work, so I decided to try other companies in the surrounding area. The damage happened on a Friday night, so I started calling around early (7am) Saturday morning. The first company I called answered and as soon as I started explaining my issue, the man told me "it'll be $550". I asked, $550 without coming out to see the roof??? He told me he already knew the issue. I decided to keep calling around. I next called Universal Roofing and left a message. They called me back within 20 mins, even though it was early. Shawn came out first thing, that Monday morning, to take a look at the damage and give me a quote. He was very professional and very reasonable. Honestly, at this point, I would've paid a high amount just to get my roof fixed because its brand new, the storms during monsoon season are usually bad, and I didn't want anymore damage to happen. I've had to deal with a leaky roof in the past and I was just worried about getting it fixed. He did not try to overcharge or get me to fix anything that was unnecessary. Very, very reasonable and very helpful. Just seems like a genuine person. I highly recommend this company.

I called URS with a roof repair issue on Jan 2. The staff who took the call was very pleasant and was able to get me on schedule Jan 4. Tile and gutter had begun to separate from the stucco. The owner showed up Jan 4, (30 mins early I might add ....who does that???) :-) He was extremely pleasant, introduced himself and proceeded to review the damages. Although the damage seemed to only be in the area I pointed out, he took the time to inspect the entire room to ensure there were no other potential damages lurking. My resident is in Maricopa AZ. I had a situation with a unique micro burst that displaced several roof tiles and broke one. It happened on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fantastic experience with DeShawn. We called for some loose tile repair on our roof we had been putting off since last monsoon season. Deshawn was contacted and came same next day for an inspection. He found more missing tiles and took pictures of all the work recommended. We agreed on the work for a very reasonable price. Everything they did was on time, professional and well done. While this was not a true roof repair or replacement the team did an excellent job power washing my tile roof and removing years of pigeon droppings. They also removed tiles to access severe buildup in the roof valleys and enclosed a small area where pigeons nest to keep them from coming back. We’ll done!

I have an older metal roof on a 24x60 manufacturered home that was in need major repairs or replacement. I had several leaks throughout my home that was damaging the ceiling sheetrock & my subflooring. My insurance refused to cover due to the age of the roof. I was at a loss.
1. It was almost impossible to get anyone out to Hidden Valley where I live for an estimate.
2. The few that did come gave basic/non-discriptive proposals ranging from 15k to 10k.
3. I was in tears & depressed because I could not afford that kind of repair. I was so stressed/depressed because I was going to literally lose my home if I could not do something with the roof. I'm single & have a small income this was devestating.
4. I reached out to "Universal Roofing" & the owner was at my doorstep the next day. He was very professional, polite but yet very personalble. He took twice the time to inspect the roof than the other companies that "did" come out.
5. With in less than 24 hours I had an extremely detailed proposal to include photos of the damaged areas & the detailed process of what it would take to repair it. I was very impressed. But afraid to look at the "Botttom Line-Price".
6. Universal Roofing price was not only affordable to my budget but he gave me help in working with my bank providing excellet documents & support.
7. The owner showed up when he said he would, on or before time, worked more than a full days work each day (If you've dealt w/contractors this is unusual in a good way).
