On a rainy Memorial Day-The cashiers in the lawn and garden dept were awesome- very nice and greeted everyone that came through- I give them 5 stars. We had a return and manager that was there was very un professional and acted like he didn't have a clue and was guessing at everything- he must of lied on his application.

Lowe’s workers are garbage and lazy
There was a problem with the old washer so they couldn’t hook it up so not their fault. They lied and said they hooked up the new dryer, as we were busy doing something else on the old washer. When they left, we checked everything out. A soon as we had a minute we looked and found all of the new dryer hook ups in the new washing machine. We looked behind the new dryer and nothing was hooked up at all. The only thing they did was plug it in. Liars. As far as I know, we have not gotten our refund that we paid for to have everything installed, also no refund for the new washing machine that we couldn’t have hooked up. It seems they might be hiring people for lower wages that don’t care at all, and it’s dangerous. I will probably get a response saying how serious they take these things but it’s just too hard to believe or trust them now. One horrible experience stays in the memory for a lifetime so adios Lowe’s.

Well, Lowe’s tried to kill me! In March 2025 we purchased a GE gas dryer from the Lowe’s in Topeka, KS.The dryer was delivered and hooked up to the gas by Yerlin and Noel.After they left I went to the basement and found that it did not run. I called and asked to schedule a return.Later in the evening I opened the basement door to be met with a wall of natural gas. They obviously had not hooked up the gas correctly. We had to shut off the gas and completely ventilate our home and were grateful we discovered it before it made it up to our bedroom or blew up the house. I made several calls to delivery and customer service to report it and suggest that Yerlin and Noel should not be allowed to do this anymore. No one with whom I spoke was particularly stressed by this. On March 13 two men came and picked up the non-functioning dryer, but failed to take any of the installation materials. On March 18 I checked to see if my credit card refund had come through. It was lower than the man from customer service had quoted. I called once again and was told we had not returned the installation materials and they were still going to charge me for the gas installation where they tried to kill us. After some time on hold, I was told that they would refund everything except the old dryer haul away. This date passed with no additional refund. Another call to Lowe’s customer service elicited the information that this refund was being denied because we had not returned the materials and they were still charging me the gas installation amount for when they tried to kills us.They did not have an answer for how I could return their materials they failed to take.I have had issues with Lowe’s in the past and am, admittedly, a slow learner! I will NEVER, however, shop at Lowe’s again. If you choose to buy an appliance there, I urge you to not allow them to hook up gas, and do stand over them to make sure that the appliance functions before they leave. My first choice for your safety and welfare is NEVER shop at Lowe’s.

I love the company and this is a store to find most anything, but it's VERY hard to get help. Needs some work on customer service gang and responding to your own staff who call for ANYONE ELSE to help a CUSTOMER! Not a good way to keep customers coming back!

So thankful for Darryl and the other pro desk staff for their above and beyond service last night. Our little girl skinned her knee in the parking lot. He gave her a bandaid and some kid construction kits for her and her siblings. He informed us of the kids workshops once a month (so cool!!) and saved the day. He’s an assent to the Lowe’s store. I was going to do the survey on the receipt but don’t want to mess with all the hoops the site asked for. Hopefully this gets to the right people and the staff is positively recognized!

We were so impressed with the service and kindness of all of the employees. The one employee, Darryl, was so helpful. He truly went out of his way to take care of us. Darryl is a great employee and needs to be recognized.

Slow curbside pickup. But the employee was pleasant and friendly. Shipping time was much quicker than expected. Big plus there with bad wx approaching.

I bought a Whirlpool fridge on Dec 8, 2024 and now the freezer doesn't freeze. I was told I'd have to call Whirlpool to get service.
I don't think I'll be buying big ticket items from Lowes. You only have a 48 hours to return if your product doesn't work correctly.

I won't be calling because all I got was to call another vendor to come and check on the fridge for as cost of $89 just to show up. NO thank you

Had 4x8 plywood cut to 2x4. Cuts weren't straight, 3/4" deveation! WTH? I hauled it back to the store and got credit.
On 2 other occasions I ordered items online to pickup. Showed quantity plenty, but was told later that it was not in stock. Inventory needs to be updated.

This is my "go to" because I'm most familiar with where things are. However, I'm growing very tired of Every. Aisle. Clogged. With. Merchandising...steps and other stuff. Just so you know, I'm going to your competition more often because the aisles are absolutely free of clutter and OBSTACLES!!! Unfortunately, I know it will get even worse as the holidays approach. I wish you would re-think this philosophy.

9/24/24 I went into the store today to pick up some items needed for a project plus to purchase a cordless saw. I picked up the items needed and went to the power tool case to get the saw. I waited for about 10 minutes then pushed the call button for help. Waited another 10 minutes. I then went up front and asked for help. I returned and waited 15 minutes no one came. I left my cart full of supplies and walked out. They lost about a $300 sale. Probably won’t return and will close my account as well.

The people are rude when you cab find one. Spent 40 mins in the appliance section trying to buy a range hood, nobody was to be found ordered one online had it delivered but couldn't return it because I wasn't ready to install it in the vacant house I ordered it for within 48 hours of its delivery. Were 16 days past delivery and it won't work the customer service lead cashier was rude wouldn't call for a manager. I see why the parking lot of this store is always empty

Placed a large order for lumber that was delivered to me. A huge part of the order had so much mold I had to wear gloves and a mask just to move it. I have made 2 different trips to the store already to return lumber that had holes, was cracked, and was bowed. A quarter of the order was incorrect. While I’ve been a loyal Lowes customer for numerous years, I do not think that I’ll be shopping there again.

Check out called for assistance three times for someone to help load my car. I had just sprained my wrist. Finally a customer exiting gratefully helped. I have a difficult time finding help at Lowe's while home depot always has lots of associates working in the store. The paint department is hardly ever managed. This was at the Metcalf Overland Park Store.

Picked up my new Metabo air compressor. One of the best compressors you can buy for the money and way better performance when comparing to competitors. Great SCFM output. LOWES also has a better accessory selection.

Great products, but TERRIBLE service.

After waiting two weeks for our appliance delivery and install, and the installers failing to show up when they said, I called them and found out they had their own store address as the delivery and store address. I told them I wanted to cancel the delivery and I would do it myself. I went in to get the appliance and was told I didn’t need to sign anything or swipe my card for the refund and should see it in a day. The next day I get a call from them saying I have to come back into the store before they can refund me.

I like the Lowe's app. I use it to find what I need and to get the location in the store. It is also an option to order an item for delivery to my house or to the store for pick up. Also Lowe's does a military discount, which I appreciate tremendously. After your service is verified, just enter your phone number at the register and it will be applied to your sale.

Had a dryer and fridge delivered the guys refused to take dryer downstairs, when moving my current fridge they damaged it and denied they did it. Refused to pick new fridge in house cause they would to have to remove a door from hinge. Call store to report personal property damage and can’t even get a supervisor to call me

They scammed me on a dishwasher protection plan, "lost" the bill I sent them, and yet keep sendding me applications to extend the plan they say I did not purchase/ They have record of my purchase and the plan purchase but won't reimburse me for repair because someone butchered my phone number, It seems to me the woman at the protection plan office has been instructed to make the process as difficult as possible, I called the topeka store three times and each time spent five minutes on hold with no manager answering. tHESE FOLKS CARE ONLY ABOUT YOUR MONEY
