I went in today looking for the mini buckets that were popular last year and the lady told me theyd only gotten the one shipment, when I told her it was okay I was just hoping there'd be some since I drove from butte she pulled one out of a drawer for me and gave it to me. THANK YOUUU!!!!

We Recently bought a very expensive large barbecue from Lowe’s. We had trouble with it, but it wasn’t covered by warranty. We asked to talk to a manager (Caleb, Helena, MT store) he refused to do anything and he said once it left the Lowe’s premises he was not responsible and couldn’t do anything. We asked for help with a new barbecue but he refused, so wevtook our business to Home Depot. Lowes lost us as a customer for good. Very, very poor customer service given how much business we’ve given them.

Went to purchase several items today. The last item on my list was electrical wire because they lock that up, so you have to get help, then they escort you with wire to cashier. The only problem is, no one will help you at the lowes in Helena. Seriously! Had to go back three times to front of store to ask. Finally I just left my cart with all the items in it because help never came. The guy at the front actually told me the 1st time I asked for help was, and I quote, “I hope I can find someone to help you”. The 3rd time I came back, he just laughed..said he was sorry! Its a huge reflection on the manager(s) or leaders of the store. “0” customer service. Went to Power Townsend. Got everything I needed!

Josh in Lumber was awesome. He helped ,me get all the decking, banded it together, and loaded it. He was extremely polite. Even though the store seemed very understaffed he didn't seemed stressed or irritated. Very appreciative.

Susan Felkins spent over an hour with us tonight (along with our two squirmy kiddos) helping us pick out appliances, fencing, helped us open a card and was so patient and fun the whole time. Thank you! Lowe’s is our #1 spot now for renovations on our new home.

Purchased new washer and dryer, the washer was damaged, had to order replacement. Replacement was here faster than quoted, and no damage. Customer service was exceptional. All employees were awesome and very understanding. Will definitely come back.

This place has the slowest customer service of any place I’ve been. There is no consideration for people’s time. Placing an order online means nothing as you’ll still have to wait upwards of 30 minutes just for someone to get the item you need. Better to just find it yourself and don’t bother asking people for help.

There was one person who was very kind and I can tell they’re short staffed. But it’s still very frustrating.

I am very impressed by with the Lowe's Pro department. It is always intimidating trying to figure out all the materials for a project. I recently remodeled my deck. I worked with Colton in the Pro department. I showed up with the dimensions of the deck. He was able to provide me with all the decking material needed for the project. I did come up short on a couple materials but that was due to me changing the stair layout and were a seam in the boards were. Overall the experience has alleviated a lot of stress from me. The only issue that I have is that Colton doesn't sound like he makes any commission on his sales.

Service around the store was awesome, and we were often asked if we needed help. Website was easy to use and led us to what we needed by aisle and bay numbers.

However there was no checkout staff and we were forced into using the self-checkout because of this, further contributing to less jobs for the community and more corporate profits.

A big thank you to Laura in appliances and Allen in loading at the Helena store. Both were VERY helpful.

I find it amazing that Lowes can't look a purchase when the Name/Date/Store/Credit Card used are all known and within the past year. The customer service is very poor. One person says "come on in and we can look it up for you no problem".....drive into town.....the next person says "we can't do that".
So they submitted a request to look up the info, with a "we'll give you a call".
No follow up. Stop in the store to request the info again and stand there for a half hour waiting for the manager.
I won't be going back to Lowes.

I bought some paint and floor tiles today and they were extremely heavy. When I set them down as gently as I could, the scanner fell off of the self checkout station. So the red haired lady working those registers proceeded to accuse me of throwing the tiles down. She was extremely nasty and should not be near anything customer service related

They have some of the biggest starter trees in town as far as non specific nurseries go right now and some unique purple rose bushes!

7/8/25: excellent experience this trip… helpful staff, aisles were not cluttered… much better than my visit a year ago. Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars.

2024: I really like Lowe’s and prefer it over Home Depot… but in Helena, Lowe’s is inferior to Home Depot. The aisles are cluttered with items needing to be stocked, employee equipment litters the place (ladders, forklifts, etc.) there is no one around to help you and the line at the register is long… was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Lowe’s…

Shopping at Lowe's is a great experience because they offer nearly everything to build, maintain, and decorate a household. Today, I bought a reel lawnmower and gardening supplies. Our Maytag washer and dryer came from Lowe's when we built our home in 2016. Many of our household furnishings, such as area rugs and small appliances also came from Lowe's. In 2014, Lowe's window installer competently installed the replacement for a large second story window in our apartment. We especially appreciate the military discount that makes maintaining our home more affordable.

The gentleman in the appliance section last night was AMAZING !! New what he was talking about and helped me find everything I was looking for. What a huge improvement in the store. Thank you!!!

Billing here is an absolute scam! I purchased a door online several weeks ago and the contractor I hired had hung the thing Lowe's still wouldn't accept that the door had been picked up charged me and then a few days later took back the charge and then just recharged me again overdrawing my account buyer beware this Lowe's is Shady look at some of these actual reviews that aren't posted by some of these store members families! I will be following up with small claims court at this point
