Lowe's Home Improvement - Dayton, TN

They are the worst, I won't be going back there...I had a buggy with some stepping blocks in it and I parked it out of the way so I could get a couple of pieces of wood...as my back was turned getting the wood I wanted, someone took my bugging, stepping blocks and all...tried to get some more paint mixed with the numbers off the old paint can lid and the guy in the paint department acted like he didn't have time and/or didn't know how...I'll go somewhere else from now on...

It's hit and miss. When I need help I can't find it, when I'm just looking, I feel like I'm being followed, and when I don't need help, well I know, no one is around.

This particular Lowes is terrible. The staff are either rude or they just don't speak. We went to pay for our items the cashier never said a word, we had a coupon which he scanned and never told us it didn't scan & needed to do it again. The man never said a word the entire time he was ringing us up. I dread going to this Lowes. They are well stocked but they need to work on their employees.

I mean if your looking for a place for your building materials and everyday construction needs you got it here. I mean Lowe’s is a Lowe’s no matter where you go. This store is played out a little differently than most I just couldn’t put my finger on exactly why it is different. Although I think I do have to say this might be the first Lowe’s I have been to that sells gun safes, now that I think about it I should have looked at that a little closer. The staff are as about as friendly as any other Lowe’s and they carry the same stuff and gun safes, don’t forget that.

my partner and I went into the Dayton, TN location to purchase a washer and dryer. Makayla in cabinets was extremely helpful. She made sure we knew everything we were signing up for and offered! I appreciate dealing with someone say educated and it made everything so easy. Give her a raise!

I think this might be the first Google review I have ever given but, I am beyond frustrated and mad right now. I ordered an electric turkey fryer yesterday online to be picked up in store. I drove 45 minutes to pick up said turkey fryer as there were none in stock at my local Lowe’s and there were 4 available at the Dayton location. When picking it up, I noticed the box had been opened. I inquired to the lady running the pickup register as to why this was. Her response was “I’m not sure but, we couldn’t have gotten it back in the box that pretty if it had been taken out.” I tend to take people for their word, so I took it and left. There didn’t appear to be anything wrong at the time.

The next morning as I start to unpackage the fryer I notice some wet spots on the bottom of the box. When I get it completely unpacked, it was hardly new. There was still residual oil in the bottom, was filthy and not even the same model as the packaging. There were some accessories but no power cord. It was obvious it had been used multiple times. I did find a power cord that was adaptable but, the element would not heat the oil. At this point, there wasn’t any time to punt and bake the turkey as our guests were to arrive within an hour.

It’s pretty apparent someone had purchased a new one, repackaged their old model that didn’t work and got a refund. Thanks Lowe’s for ruining our Thanksgiving meal. To the POS that would do something like this to save $100… I hope Karma finds you and I wish you a lifetime of financial hardship and ruin. Shame on me and I do take responsibility for not making the lady unpackage the open box.

We have had a number of deliveries from Lowe’s with no problem until today. The truck arrived, stopped at the bottom of the driveway, then left. Before, deliveries were hand carried in. When I called to find out what was going on, I was

transferred 8 times. All I
ever was told was the truck was to big. It appeared to be the same size as the ones of previous deliveries.

Best lowes in the world. Management is great and very helpful, every employee there is willing to help you and the pro desk is top notch customer service.

Never purchase cabinets here (or Lowes in general). Ordered the first week of August and was quoted 8 - 10 weeks for delivery and install (paid $40k). We are now being told or will be mid-December before the installer can come in. Then we'll have to wait even longer for the countertops to be installed.

3 employee's at SELF checkout. To assist you with SELF checkout. Getting paid to watch you self checkout. All while passing the cost of paying them off on the customer.
I hate Amazon but I hate this more!!!

Horrible, we got more help from fellow shoppers than from associates We were in line forever, at the pro shop, with a rude girl, she tried her best to over charge us. She ignored me when i said i needed two bales of straw. She didnt let me use an online coupon. When i went back to ask again for the straw there was another girl who said the coupon could only be used if i had a credit card , this was untrue as i checked with a differnt lowes,in athens, andbit worked perfectly. This girl even dumped an entire buggy load of plywood and waited for some one to reload it, but didnt call for anyone. The only bright spot in this horrible interaction was a very sweet and very helpful Justin in lawn and garden.

Passing by seen price on a craftsman lawn mower. Went in to by it. Out side price did not match inside price. Took 15 before I could get anyone in the department to help me. Fallowed by someone miss marked that we can't sale it for that. Even have the pictures of price and label. Called and talked with manager she couldn't care less

My go to place for garden and anything that I need to fix something around my house. Also very good appliance options available. The garden center is great! It's hard to find things because they move stuff around frequently is my only frustration. Note, sometimes the online price is better than if you purchase "in-store"so if you see something you need/want, check the online price and go back and pick it up at the store. There is no extra shipping charge for ship to store on line purchases. Just a tip.

Bought a Refrigerator Stove and Dishwasher! Great customer service from Shiann, Meganne and Angela. Near closing one night. They all were very friendly and showed me great customer service!

Todd was an absolute doll!!!! Never had I ever had better customer service! He went above and beyond to help us with out turf needs.

Lowes should be one in the same but they're not. This one is one of my favorites as the employees really know what they're talking about and genuinely help bc they know their stuff. If you have a project and need help ask these guys

This place needs to hire more people. They are always short handed. they always think I'm trying to steal something when I go in because they follow me around with their spit shields on until I walk up to the register to pay for my stuff. Haha I don't mind though, I think its funny.

Been there almost everyday for two weeks. Great,friendly people. The lady at self checkout is always nice and friendly. Great smile. Brightens your day.

Stopped in for a few items. Looked for someone in Appliances but no one was there. Figured out what we needed on our own.

Great group in appliance's. And through out the store. Just moved to Dayton and looking forward more shop at this Lowes.

Shopping for a bathtub. They were out of stock but associate went above and beyond helping me locate one at a nearby store. Thank you Steve.

This place is almost perfect for tools, repair parts and materials, home improvement, gardening, and decorating. I wish I could give an extra half star.
