This is the only Lowes in the area with an actual outdoor lumber yard. So much more than at any of the other Lowes. Worth the 1 hour drive to go there.

Hayley at customer service is great!I was in there a few weeks ago and was purchasing a lawnmower with the leasing option they have available now and she stayed on the phone with them almost 2 hours until they fixed the issue,so I could leave with a lawnmower that day!!She went above and beyond to help me.Thank you Hayley and Jana for all y'all's help!!!

Never ever ever use them to install anything !! Lowe’s windows and installers are terrible ! Pay the extra money and use someone else ! The windows they installed leaked all in my sunroom and damaged my floors and walls. They would not come back to fix it or do anything. They just said it wasn’t an install issue and I could write their legal department! Look at the pictures . Never had issues like this before.

My original complaint is below but I want to add that I finally took care of completing the install myself and then the installer called and wanted to come out on Father's day. This was not acceptable to us anyway; However the customer service department reached out to us this week and gave us a credit on on my lowes card for our inconvience. So I am changing my review from one star to four stars for them following through and attempting to make this right. Thank you!

Original complaint - Very frustrated! We bought a stackable washer and dryer specifically because of the area we were putting it in. We explained this to the salesperson and he said he understood. When the items were delivered we were told that the stack kit was not sent so they could not stack the washer and dryer. We went back and were told that we had to buy a kit because it was not on the original order. So I bought and kit and rescheduled the install. The stackable kit was delivered but we were informed that they didn't do the install. We contacted Lowes again and they rescheduled the install again! The time of delivery we were given was between 8:30 and 12:30 after two calls and no real answer other than that someone would contact us which has not happened I am wondering if this install will ever happen!

Very disappointed with the home delivery. Lowes sends me a receipt telling me it was great to see you indicating that I came in and picked up 60 2x2x8 Premium Furring Strips when in fact they delivered these on Saturday May 24, 2025 and I have not been to the store. Meanwhile, I get a confirmation of delivery email on Saturday May 24, 2025 that they have delivered the 34 1x4x8 Expanded Polystyrene when in fact they have not. Now on Sunday May 25, 2025 my order history in the system shows they have delivered the Expanded Polystyrene today. I am yet to receive the Expanded Polystyrene while the system indicates differently. If you are going to do business with Lowe’s I highly recommend not doing it through their online system.

Our trip to Lowe's was fine. We have a handicap sticker so we were able to park close to the door. There were plenty of empty spaces and there were scooters available that were charged and ready to go. We found what we needed and check out was fast.

My trip was OK. They did not carry exactly what I was searching for, but they has similar products, at an ok price. The best part was the staff, very polite, and helpful. I was in and out in about 10-12 minutes. Thanks

Today was by far the worst experience I have ever received from shopping at Lowe’s. The amount of disrespect and unwillingness to help me was truly unbelievable. I normally go to the hartselle store which I always receive respect from ever employee, and was honestly expecting the same customer service but was greatly surprised and disappointed!

We enjoy the Lowes in Cullman. It is our only big box option. They have a nice selection of items. We utilize their charge card as the 5% discount is not a great but is a nice perk. The garden section is fair and has a nice selection of plants if you shop before the public hits it hard. The plants sell fast. I would have given this location a five however when we need help it is hard to find anybody. At times I feel they are avoiding me but it is what it is.

I will never shop at any Lowe's ever again. Lowe’s will lock you in to a 48-hour return window and deny your refund on any of their faulty appliances.

I bought a Maytag PetPro stackable washer & dryer set from Lowes.com on Dec 16 2024. I paid for the delivery and “installation kit”. When the installers arrived, what I ordered did not include the “stacking kit” so they left them in my living room. In all I had spent $2,230 so far and I ended up paying $60 more for a bag with two brackets and four screws, nothing special about them. I could not install the units until a few days later when I had help available.

When they were finally installed and I used them for a few days, I noticed that the washer would leak from the door and the dryer would shut off randomly in the middle of its cycles, saying “Cycle Complete” but the clothes would still be wet.

When I reached out to Lowe’s customer service, they informed me that their return policy was only 48 hours unless I used the Lowe’s credit card, then it was 7 days. They insisted on sending Maytag to repair (or replace) the units and declined a refund. When I persisted, they continued to shift responsibility to Maytag since it was “now under their warranty”, and the refund was a “decision that Maytag would make”.

I provided all the information that Lowe’s asked me for. At every step, I declined replacement and repairs and requested a pickup and refund instead.

Inexplicably, Lowe’s then sent a repair technician to my home anyway. I was given no notice of their arrival and they were turned away.

Several more weeks went by with no communication from Lowe’s, Maytag, or a repair company until I reached out to Lowe’s with a final request for refund. Yet again, the support team deflected responsibility to Maytag and we got nowhere fast, so I am still stuck with two grand worth of appliances that the store won’t take back.

The employees are horrible. Why bother paying the kid who is always on his phone, or the one checkout person who seems eternally confused on how to check out, or the random guy walking around ignoring everyone? And don’t get me started on the ancient creatures they put on the check yourself out line. Here is another free idea, give everyone a little more room to maneuver. The store is so tight you fell claustrophobic. Cullman needs an HD.

We never ask for help with anything when we shop here, we always load our own lumber, flooring, and anything else you can think of, we asked for help getting 18 pieces of Sheetrock because there was not even out front and all the others were broken, and it had the concrete pallet already on top of it, we waited outside for a forklift operator and was sent someone from another department that could not even drive a forklift, 30 minutes later we are still waiting and are about to go in and get a refund and shop elsewhere, this was absolutely ridiculous.

It has been weeks of back and forth with zero communication and no answers on a door installation. Originally the door was measured wrong by Lowe’s, ordered, and delivered. Then it took weeks for them to pick up the wrong size door they ordered from my home. They refunded the door amount but kept the $1500 installation fee. I have been given zero answers to if or when I will be getting another door. I am upset about this interaction because I come from a family of contractors who support Lowes, and this was supposed to be one of many home improvements using them, but now I’m unsure.

They take my money constantly. I love this place! And how does every employee know where every item in the store is? Aisle, rack, and bay. Even if it's behind a pole, they know it.

They always have what you are looking for, but the employees do not know anything about the store at all.. The paint dept, tool dept & garden center are awesome!! The rest of the store people stand around talking, and they do not offer to help, and when they ask a question, they know nothing & are rude!!
