Erie Home - Falmouth, ME

This is the second time I’ve used Erie Home and they’re excellent to work with. Fast response times, excellent warranty that is transferable with sale of the house, and about 10-15% discount on additional roofing after first purchase. The financing was incredibly easy for 0% interest for 18 months, which I did again. Ashley, Moses, Sean and the rest of the team were great, fast, and professional. Did a great clean up job as well, leaving the site better than was it was before.

ERIE was fast to come out for the estimate and it was a short wait for materials. Materials dropped and job completed same day. Crew did a nice job with clean up and the roof looks great. Went with the stone coated steel, which looks like a traditional roof, but warrantied for fifty years!

I am very impressed with quality of work performed by the crew that replaced my roof shingles. The clean up was excellent (no nails found).

Incredibly overpriced company. They were more than doubled than any other roofing company and they do less types of work on the house despite the fact that they will try to tell you in their sales pitch that they do more than any other company. But if you’ve gotten quotes from other roofing companies, all you have to do is look at the paperwork to tell that everything but they say the other guys don’t do they in fact will. And after they gave me my quote which they only wrote down on a piece of paper, no actual paperwork. I called the company and requested that they emailed me the information three times and never received it. I’ve talked to some people that have used this company and part of the reason they are so expensive is because they’re not doing the work themselves. They contracted to another roofing company which you could’ve done on your own

Work was done as planned, on time, and did not take long from start to finish. Very happy with the new roof.

The salesman’s name was Sean I think and he was professional and courteous. He explained that they’re not the cheapest option and did a great job explaining why that is. They replaced our roof that was 8 years old. The last contractor was a nightmare to deal with and was no contact after we started having leaks. The project manager was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Are they cheap? No, but you get what you pay for. We could not be more thrilled with the warranty and the level of service.

I am very satisfied with my new roof. The job was finished before the time frame they gave me. The site was cleaned very well at the end of the same day the roof was installed. Everyone on the job site was pleasant and worked very hard. I would recommend Erie to anyone needing a new roof.

The folks at Erie, came promptly and evaluated the condition of my asphalt shingle roof , gave mr a variety of options and good advice, then structured payment schedule based on my resources.the roof was installed in a single day despite snow having fallen the previous day. The laborers were efficient and knowledgeable….Ashlie came to support, answer questions and fulfill the paperwork regarding my contract. The yard was quickly picked up, and refuse carried off . If I find more hiding under the snow, I have been assured they will return to pick that up too, come spring!

This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I had an insulation/air sealing problem with my home with a minor leak occurring in valleys in part of the roof. They deceived me and had talked me into buying an overpriced roof assuring this would solve all of my problems, however following their services it had made my issues worse. I was told by the sales rep my insulation and venting would be properly addressed, although this was not the case by any means. They left rotten wood in many spots of my attic and proceeded to put the new roof on without addressing it. After cutting ridge vents in it had multiplied my insulation problem causing ice damage in all of my attics, leading me to have water damage/ caving in Sheetrock in every ceiling of my home. (This was not the case before their install)

Further contacting the company I was told there was nothing they could do, to figure it out myself, and left arguing with managers. This company not only did sell me an overpriced roof, but neglected to replace all of the plywood needed and lied to me about fixing my attic issues they could not truly resolve. They refuse to help me, have left me in debt, still have rotten wood for decking, and with a wet attic and home currently being ruined by moisture in the attic. Very shady, conning company. Run far away from this place. I don’t wish this situation on my worst enemy.

Our roof was done in a very timely & professional manner. They cleaned up everything & I highly recommend them to anyone!

While they are a bit more expensive then other contractors, their work is top notch. If anyone doesn't know how it works, Erie is a national company that subcontracts locally. The crew they have here are very polite and do great work. They showed up at 07:20 and by 07:35 shingles were hitting the ground. They completed our roof in one day, even with a few problems along the way.
If you need a way to finance a roof they also have many options and they will work year round.

Had a new roof put on, and except for a minor lack of communication, the process went very well. Love the innovative product and the ending result.

The work was quick. The crew worked hard and were very professional. They cleaned up everything. Protected my shrubs that were close to where they were working. Te results of the repair was effective as well as beautiful. Thank Erie homes.

First off, if it works better for the client to have the quote appointment when their partner is not available please allow that. I felt very pressured to make the appointment when all household members are available...I'm fully capable of relaying any pertinent information to my partner. We had nice gentlemen come out to survey our property and give us information on the products and were told a quote would be emailed. Over 2 weeks later I reached out and was told more information was needed. I did not feel like dealing with that all again, so moved on. Would have loved to have known how much it would have been as the product looks great, but they informed me that the median price for a metal roof in Portland was 55k. I just received a quote for 22k from another contractor. It really rubbed me wrong way that no one contacted us when they figured more measurements were needed. Not very organized.

Looked into Erie roofing online ,they looked like a very reputable company. They gave us a call and sent 2 of there men out here to look at our roof. When we talked with them they were very interested in coming to northern NH. they are from Freeport Maine. They told us it shouldn’t be a problem doing our roof . After leaving we waited for there call for a quote. I know businesses can be very busy, but never called us back at all, when we did call them they told us we were out of there range to do our roof. Did not even have the decency to call us back. I would say that is poor business practice.

The crew from Erie Home was spectacular! They had to fight the Maine winter but they got the job done in the time they specified and it looks great.

Erie Home initial contacts were very professional , knowledgeable and concise. Appointments were confirmed and kept. Work crew arrived when expected and worked diligently. I was told things would be cleaned up so I might not know they had worked on my house. I took this as a bit of hype given the size of the job, but was more than pleased. The day after job was done I raked lawns and inspected gardens and only found one nail; and zero trash !!!!! Job Well Done!

They got the job done in one day. Hard workers and very professional. Cleaned up as good as possible considering it was cold and windy.

So thankful for the Erie team that did our roof in a timely manner. Kept us aware of what they were doing and when. Very pleased!

Sales guys were personable, detailed, and honest about quality, warranty, and current condition of my roof. Installation crew was very messy, but quick (one afternoon) and cleaned most of everything but left a mess on my porch roof. A week later, the snow melted on the porch roof (not part of the work), the manager himself came by within fifteen to clean nails and debris and left it spotless. The cost was on less than my expectations for the quality and working with snow and ice on my roof. Highly recommend!

The job was very well coordinated. The sales staff was very complete in answering all questions. Installers did a great job.

The process went as expected, the roofers did a good job cleaning up after the roof was finished. The roof did leak during a heavy rain. I contacted Erie Roof and the roofers did come out that day and fixed where the leak was, it didn't leak with the next rainfall. I love the roof and the color that we decided on it is perfect

We are very satisfied with the crew and the work they did, stripping and replacing the roof on our cabin (and shed) in Glen, NH on Jan 9, 2024. They worked hard and efficiently to get the installation finished and the area cleaned up by 3:30 pm before the arrival of a major winter snowstorm at 7 pm!

From the Salesforce, Management, Onsite Supervisor to the crew they were all very professional. The salesman Thornton was extremely knowledgeable of the products took the time to answer all our questions. Moses the manager called several times to keep me updated in the timeline of when the job was going to be started. The crew did a great job protecting my outdoor decor and flowerbeds during the process. Excellent sales team, provided everything necessary for a decision. Installation team was amazing, couldn’t tell they were there, except for the amazing looking roof.

We were able to meet with a representative in a timely manner and at a time that was convenient for us. He was very professional and informative. The entire process was very quick, from the time we met with the rep to the day our roof was replaced, was less than a week. The team had our roof on within the same day and they did a great job making sure everything was cleaned up before they left.

From the start of the process till the end was 9 days!! That was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise. Everyone was great to deal with

Everyone, from the salesman to the workmen, were very helpful, hard-working, and efficient. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. The work itself was done very quickly and efficiently. My yard was left immaculate.

Really frustrating when you make an appt a week before, they send multiple reminders on the day of the appt and then cancel 2.5 hours before your time. I called and got a representative (Isaiah) that could have cared less about my frustration. Pretty terrible customer service if you ask me.

The whole process was quick and easy. Enjoyed working with each member of the Erie team from their sales team, back office team, and installation team. The installation team was very detail oriented which allowed them to complete in a timely manner an with great quality. They were even able to work around the weather we had experienced that week.

i feel i need to update. this company is a scam. the sales man vanished from earth, all contact numbers dont work. lesson learned never let someone come to your house when your not sober. if i could id never sign up for this. roof still looks good but with financing and down payment i was hosed for nearly 35k for a damn shingle roof. RIP OFF and if i could id get out of this contract. never do business with them

THEY PUT THE ROOF ON VERY QUICKLY, AND THE WAIT TIME FOR MY APPOINMENT WAS SHORT. CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN SPOTTY BUT THAT WAS TOLD TO US WHEN WE MET THE SALESMAN. I DID HAVE AN ISSUE WHERE I COULD SEE LIGHT FROM THE CHIMNEY, SO THE ROOFER CAME OUT. IT WAS UNRELATED TO THE JOB DONE BUT HE STILL FIXED IT.
