I contacted Erie home, because my roof was in very bad shape. Within a week Devin and Tim came and was very professional in showing me all that Erie home has to offer. They showed me a plan where I could have a new roof and I would be able to afford it on my budget. I must say it was all too good to pass up so I signed the papers. The following Wednesday Ruben and his crew showed up to begin to fix my roof. They finished it on Thursday and when I came home I had a very beautiful roof. What was more surprisingly is there was no sign any construction had been done at all. I give these guys a five star but I would give them 10 Stars if it was all possible, because I'm very satisfied with their professionalism and courtesy they expressed throughout the project.

Materials were delivered on day expected and next day the roofing crew arrived early and began removing old shingles. House is 78 years old with tongue and groove boards mostly in good shape but parts were replaced with lumber not plywood. Some unique situations were resolved easily. On a 90 degree sunny day the crew took a one hour break in PM but still finished the entire job and clean up by 8PM. Crew chief was great to work with explaining progress and options for various unique situations. Fiberglass shingles look great and now we do not hold our breath when it rains.

Super responsive and quick to get our much needed roof upgrades done. The warranty seems great, if anything changes will update.

The subcontractor used during install worked until almost 10 o'clock at night to finish install but left nails all over my yard even after coming back the next day for a few hours to clean up.

I called for a quote. We arranged a day for them to come out. However, in the interim, my landlord got upset by the first quote from a different roofing company. Apparently, unless the complete roof replacement costs a total of $3,000, he's not doing it. I cancelled with Erie Homes so they wouldn't waste their time. They messaged me back noting that the free estimate had been cancelled but wanted to reschedule it. I've been busy working and on a vacation for 3 or 4 weeks now and multiple times a day Erie keeps calling me. They are relentless. After the third week, I started blocking them, but then they call me on a different number and I block those too. After knowing I cancelled and am not interested in a quote, I'm not sure why they keep constantly calling me. Anyway, unless Erie can promise me a metal roof for $3,000, it's unfortunately not going to happen.

Installation was quick (3 days) and well done. All the workers were respectful and very competent. We love the color - it looks like slate and complements our 1889 Queen Anne very well.

To start this journey, I clicked on an advertisement for free roofing estimate. In a few minutes I received a call and an appointment was made.
During the estimate the first guy looked at the roof from inside and out. Then another guy came in and he was the hard seller. I mentioned to him a few times that I wanted to research a little bit to get another estimate. He sold their roof harder.
I decided to just go with it. Then I saw lots of ads for seniors and retired military. By then it was too late, I already signed up with Erie.
The roof was done in 1 day. The guys really didn't speak English, but we're hard working and cleaned the area around the house well.
About a week later I got emails and texts to give a review, so this is it.

Erie came and did a complimentary inspection as part of their quote estimate. The reps (Melvin and Cam) were great. Their crew finished and were thorough in the install and clean up.

I had seen high reviews for Erie and was not disappointed. The sales team were knowledgeable and it was a good sales experience. The team that did the actual installation was very professional and completed the work in a very timely manner.

We loved our experience with Erie. From the sales presentation to end of install everyone we dealt with was professional and respectful. The finished product of the roof was exactly what we wanted and were told we would get. The installers actually left the property more clean than before they arrived. We highly recommend this company!

It's a wonderful roof! I highly recommend this company to install your next roof. When we first contacted Erie Home, we told them we were interested in a metal roof, so they scheduled two salesmen to visit. They inspected our roof, took pictures, and explained to us all of our options with projected costs with a comparison between an asphalt or metal roof allowing us to make the decision easier. Also, their presentation included examples of roofing materials that we could hold and feel, nice touch. After seeing example pictures and hearing about the benefits of metal roofing, we made our decision. The scheduled two day installation became only one day since they had a crew of 10 workers! Impressive work! After the installation was completed, we walked around the house with amazement to how great the roof looked! There were some roofing screws scattered around the house that had to be picked up the next day, and they power washed our driveway without charge since some roofing material was stuck to the concrete. After the power washing, the driveway looks brand new, thank you Erie Home!!!

The crew arrived prior to the time I expected and began work immediately. They removed the old shingles and tar paper, replaced a bad section of board, then applied a rolled sealant that is better than tar paper, then new shingles and roof vent caps. The job was completed and looks great. They then did a great job of clean up including using a roller magnet to pick up all nails that were on the ground. I was informed that the material for the gutters was not available at the time and the gutters would be completed on Monday. It is not cheap however I feel that it is a better roof than most roofing companies offer.
Update: Due to a misunderstanding the gutters were not quite what I expected but things happen. Still mostly satisfied.

Very pleased with the quality of workmanship performed. The guys were detailed in how they protected the area around my home. They made sure all clean up was completed. Awesome experience! I was just inquiring about how much this was going to cost me. A storm had damaged some shingles and I knew water was getting into my attic. I didn’t think that it was going to be possible even this year to get fixed. Excellent product, very good communication and a very fast install. These shingles will outlast both myself and my wife. Installation crew arrived a little bit past 7 AM, and they left at about 6PM completely done with the roof and that included clean up as well. The many different profiles and colors allow you to get the perfect match that was in your head. I recommend Erie Home for your roof without question or reserve.

Everything from ordering to installation was exceedingly fast and well done. They even "roofed" the little lean-to on the side of my house. The house looks fantastic, and the neighbors have been around to take pictures. One person asked if it was plastic and I explained that it was a stone-coated metal with a 50-year roof that was category 3 hurricane resistant. I am extremely pleased with the roof's quality and looks. I would have added pictures, but I don't have pictures in Google. It's a shame because the house looks fantastic.

The sales representatives did a thorough inspection of our roof inside and out, took pictures to show us the damage we had under the existing roof! They helped us find financing to meet our budget. The Erie roofing team was very professional from beginning to end. The sales team offered multiple options with looks and financial. The roofs were on time, cleaned the work area, friendly, and did a wonderful job installing my new roof.

I had a roof installed on September 21-2024
The first day the installers removed the old metal roofing and the same afternoon started the roofing job on the home.
When they finished up on day one which was very late, they packed up and left for the day. That night at approximately 11:45pm we had a severe rain storm that came through and dumped close to two inches of rain in the area. What the installer did not do was to throw a tarp over the house as I have found out is the procedure. We had water coming down the walls and ceilings, water coming through ceiling fans and light fixtures. We had Sheetrock falling on the bed in one room and Sheetrock falling on appliances in another room. My wife and I stayed up putting pots and pans and towels through out the house trying to catch water and keep our carpets as dry as possible. We fought a losing battle as you can imagine. Through all this I made calls and sent text messages
The installer showed up at our home at 3:30am to try and help. At this point the damage was already done.
I made a few costly mistakes in the days to follow.
My first mistake was to allow Erie home to let the installer start to make repairs to our ceilings. They are roofers by trade, not Sheetrockers.
The worst mistake I made was signing off on the loan. He who holds the gold holds the power.
I was assured by Erie home reps that they would make everything right. I held them to their word and boy was I left with cracking Sheetrock and walls that have dropped.
Seems like for 3 weeks afterwards we just kept finding problems that we didn’t notice right away. Erie Home has not stuck to their word and I’m stuck with major problems.
I’m recovering from knee surgery and left wondering what my next step is.
A rep for Erie Home did stop by and give my wife $200.00 cash for the cleanup she did throughout the house. She spent 3 weeks cleaning and there are still parts of the house that haven’t been cleaned yet.
The roof they installed is the only thing that came out okay in this whole process.
If you do business with Erie home, good luck.

The roofing project went great. These guys worked in 20 and 30 degree weather along with wind. They don't get enough credit. It got dark on them before they finished so they had to do their cleanup with flashlights. Surprisingly I did not find much they missed the next morning. My only complaint is the oil spots on my new driveway from the dump truck. They should have put a tarp under the truck

My wife and I were looking to replace our roof, as it was the original roof of the house built in 1998.

I had seen advertisements on Facebook and other social media platforms for Erie’s products and promotions.

I called to request a consultation on a Sunday night at 7PM. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to go through an automated system. I was scheduled for the following Saturday for a consultation.

Jeremy arrived on time, and looked professional in appearance. He took the time to listen to our concerns, budget, and goal for our new roofing system. Over very candid conversation, we were able to come to an agreement on product to be installed, then scheduled for the following Thursday.

The roofing crew arrived Thursday morning, moved some of our Christmas decorations out of precaution, they set out tarps, and started removing the old shingles. The crew was very polite, and answered questions when asked. They finished up day 1 with putting on the drip edge, ice and snow barrier, and underlayment.

Day 2 the roofing crew arrived and installed shingles, boots, and flashing. They did such a great job of taking their time, and giving our house a new roof, and look. I have peace of mind knowing I have a warranty, and excellent product installed on our home, with great customer service to back it all.

They were both knowledgeable and friendly. The process was fully explained and no only done quickly but they also cleared any trash before they left.

Quality work, superior materials; fast and efficient service. From sales agreement to installation was less than a week. A crew of 12 showed up at 7:30 AM and had the old roof stripped at 9:30. Inspected and replaced plywood in several places then began installing new material - one layer of high quality felt, then a heavy impermeable membrane over the felt, then fiberglass/ asphalt shingles that were at least 25% thicker than originals. Installation and clean up was complete at 7:30 PM. Roof warranties for 30 years and rates to withstand 120 MPH winds and golfball sized hail. Great peace of mind!

Jeremy -sales guy- was great! Worked around my hectic schedule, answered my questions and has a really cool ladder! Even went out of his way to take care of my chimney when it was discovered Erie no longer does that. Roof crew showed up as expected went straight to work and cleaned up like never even there. the only thing i wish i could change was i could afford the metal roofing i am retired i do not want any more dead horses. so i when with fiber glass shingles.they look great. the out come is about the same. installation was great off with the old roofing and on with the new roofing which was nothing like the old roof. to find out what is the difference in the the old and new roof from erie, call erie to come to your home let them show you the difference.

Erie is a great company to get a roof installed. They installed our roof in only one day and they cleaned up everything. They are the best!

The total experience was top notch every step of the way, from sales pitch to job completion. The quality exceeded my expectations and the job performed was incredible. The salesman thoroughly explained all my options and within the same week, I had a new roof. The installation crew was professional and they finished the entire job in less than one day. At the house by 7am and gone by 4pm, old shingles removed, any repairs were done and then the new roof was on in one day. They cleaned up as they went and also after the job was finished. I'm so happy with my new roof thanks to Erie. And a warranty that will outlast me probably.

I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Erei Home was. The sales pitch was incredibly misleading, promising a smooth and high-quality process. However, the reality was far from it. From the beginning, there were major issues. The salesperson incorrectly entered my home address on the financing application, despite my repeated corrections. This led to my financing approval being revoked.

The quality of work was shockingly poor. They attempted to rush the roof installation in a single day, using phone flashlights to continue working in the dark. When I raised concerns, the supervisor instructed them to stop. The following day, a single worker returned to finish the job, but failed to clean up properly. As a result, the inspector required them to redo a section of the roof.

To date, I have still not received the promised receipt or warranty certificate. If you value your peace of mind, I strongly advise avoiding Erei Home.

I did not at first plan to call Erie Homes for a quote. I was just trying to see who the calls I kept getting was from. I called this number back and got an Erie Homes rep. Set up an appointment for the next day. Omar came out and visited with us like an old friend would. He explained the hows and whys of his company and products. It was more than I expected to pay but the product was more than expected to get as well. The 30 year transferable warranty was also a huge factor as we are considering selling our home and thought that to be a good selling feature. Our roof at the time was approximately 24 years old. It was nearly new when we bought the house. We had to make several repairs through the years and had to pay out of pocket with no warranty. If we sell the warranty is transferred to the new owner. We had a few hiccups during installation but they were taken care of right away and to our satisfaction. It seems odd to say a roof is beautiful but it truly is! I would and do recommend Erie Homes.

Nathan diagnosed multiple problems with my roof, and Oscar and the crew tore off the whole mess, replaced it all with new sheathing, shingled my roof with superior materials, cleaned up beautifully, and left me with a new roof...all in one day! From the beginning to the end, it was a great experience. They came out on a Monday did my estimate and told me my options, not gonna lie, was a little surprised by the cost, but you pay for what you get. The salesman was very informative and answered all my questions. We got everything figured out that day. By Friday their crew was there installing my new roof, took them 2 days but I have a big roof and had a lot of bad boards. Both days they completely cleaned up their areas. The crew worked with no breaks except a short lunch. They were very friendly and respectful. I would highly recommend Erie to anyone.

Update: we were told that we would have someone come out every 5 years to inspect the roof, that has yet to happen. The bank they set us up with, we were told we had a grace period with no interest, this was not the case. The interest is $5 a day. Again, the quality and the workmanship of the crew was amazing, the sales guy though is a liar.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Erie Home. The crew that came out did an excellent job. They cleaned up the area, did professional looking work, and were kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend!

I'm still waiting for$6K with of work to happen.
After seeing a million ads on Social Media and a lot of Apps I have on my cell. I decided to give them a shot at my wind damaged roof.
We had some minor damage, renovation happening and elected to wait on a full install.
We selected a color that was close to what we have and what we will be getting installed when its time.
Their sales rep (Justin) was very knowledgeable, had some samples that kind of showed the colors. We decided to have a solar powered attic fan installed. Our biggest hold up on the install. (I later learned I could get this same fan on Amazon for half what they sold it to us for.)
When you speak to the Construction Super prepare yourself. He short with his responses . Speaks rudely. Promised us a metal ridge cap and did not deliver. AFTER the fact - they told me that the metal cap comes with the complete install.
So here at least 30 months out. Addition has been complete.
I have had zero contact from these people.
I know Im paying over $6K on a 70 foot total length asphalt shingle ridge vent that does NOT have any of their special tubes like I was shown.
Does not even have anything special to it.
So you got me. I should have known the day you smarted off to me on the phone.
I will continue to update this so can keep other people informed on how they could be treated for asking questions.
IF I had actually had a chance to see the contract your man had my wife sign I would have run him off then.

Install Day comes and the man in a state away calling late afternoon.
Hes on the way... SO not punctual that day.
This team ran to Lowes multiple times.

I inspected the materials going on. Different, But not metal.
I wasn't told that the ridge cap was SHINGLES either. It was my understanding that it was Metal?
What I was shown was Very Nice. Very sturdy, thick plastic vent going along the ridges. The final venting material is stout. I stepped on it to see. It looks like tubing, yet its strong. YET , what I saw on the ground I can not locate one piece on my roof.
It looks like the stuff I can get at Lowes.(Because it is)
Once it was almost in I went up to see the fan. He told me the plywood had fallen inside. He missed catching it.
That's not a problem I said to them. (He had BEATEN the hole for it instead of cutting it).
These guys were Professional? Courteous yes, efficient? No.
They cleaned up everythingat least. (Magnet for the nails)
No Debris on the ground when they were done. (Except a box of roofing nails they dropped)
Looking back - Not so much. Having a chance to look at it more closely. Not to my Standards of work after all the great stuff you showed me that NONE OF WAS INSTALLED?
That fan woks great at least. It is much cooler in the attic.

I will be having the whole roof done now that the addition is complete. Ill get my own people to do it though.

You can not give a lifetime warranty on shingles. They do not exist.
I am questioning that. It is in my paperwork...
I suppose with the amount I'm paying,
that will cover it a few more times.

So far, your work is not done. I doubt there's another venture together...
My recommendation. Pay upfront
Watch them the whole time.
Honestly, If I had it to do over I would not use them.
