Ordering from Home Depot has been hard. Twice I have waited for orders that the store can't find, so reordering was the only option. The last time it happened, was a hose. The hose arrived and went back to the warehouse because no one called us to say it had arrived. So we waited again for the arrival date. This time, on the day before the posted expected arrival date, we called to find out where it was. The short of it is they didn't know and we got a new arrival date for the 3rd time. So, we called and talked to Ewanda at the Resolutions department. Ewanda was SO helpful. SOOO HELPFUL! She was patient, caring, and informative. She explained how the notifications work and where the problem was happening. She refunded us generously. She is researching where the hose is and how to make sure we get it this time, and will be in contact to let me know the next step(s). THANK YOU EWANDA. You do your job SO well, and now I know I will order with Home Depot again.

we came in today looking for some paint and accessories. there was a line at the desk of people waiting either to have paint mixed, shaken or just ask for help. The gentleman behind the counter doing all this helping was Joe. This was in the afternoon.. Joe was easy going and smiled while helping each one, some several times. When it was our turn, he had shaken the paint and then asked if we needed a stirrer and a can opener. Not missing a beat, he gave us the items and then proceeded to show the ladies waiting for their paint if the color was right. As we turned to leave he told us to have a good afternoon. Another gentleman, Nate, asked if we needed any more help with anything.

Assistant Manager John was very helpful. Joe helped us find what we needed. Great, awesome customer service from both. Both were very knowledgeable and knew their job very well, But unfortunately our order got messed up, half delivered. No call or no show.

Busy unorganized. But that's the norm now.
They called on Mon tell me something I ordered was in after 6weeks . (Which was expected). When I went in Fri to pickup they said it wasn't there and still in transit. After about 45 min of asking them to check, miraculously they found it finally.
Front counter guys was very helpful.

As always, ya gotta stop the staff to help you find an item, but they are helpful. And as I do not like self check out, the young lady used the magic wand to scan my items, and I finished by paying.

Always pleased to be helped by Cashier Sherri C. She is so helpful, pleasant and always happy to help. Very refreshing, I find myself looking for her because of her wonderful attitude, always smiling and so well dressed and put together. She is proud of her work and it shows. She is quick, efficient and knowledgeable. She's always welcoming customers coming to check out at her station instead of avoiding like others. You are lucky to have such a dedicated employee. I tried for over a week to buy a John Deere lawn tractor from this Home Depot. Nobody could either answer the phone for most calls, and the 2 times I got someone to answer, the associate could not answer a single question, the second time I was put on "HOLD" while the sales person went to find someone who could answer my question. After 15 minutes of waiting I was disconnected.

I just had to do a return at the Kenai Home Depot and it was so easy. Their customer service was top notch. This actually isn’t the first time I have felt like the customer service here is great. To the two gentleman working late hours in returns, thank you, I appreciate you.

It's just like every other Home Depot in the U.S. pricing is very competitive with local suppliers. They offer online ordering with in store pickup.

Without a doubt the worst buying experience we have ever had. We special ordered a total of 9 custom window treatments in May, they were supposed to take 2-3 weeks. It is now almost October and we still do not have our new blinds, which cost us nearly $3,000. There has been no effort whatsoever by any home depot employee involved with this purchase to communicate with us during these 4 1/2 months. Every single update or problem with our order was discovered by me or my wife calling home depot for an update. Every problem could've been recognized and fixed weeks before they were. The order had to replaced 2 times. We were told countless times that the order specialist would return our calls, but he never did. The original employee we placed the order with was very rude and the quote he put together without our input, included all of the most expensive options. He then offered it to us as if they were our only options, which I knew to be false since I had already built my own quote on the website. The entire process was extremely frustrating and awful, not once did we feel like valued customers.

In February we purchased a new stove, refrigerator and an all in one washer dryer.we were told the all in one was in anchorage and we should have it in 2 weeks. Refrigerator and stove showed up the next week.
It’s now been almost 5 MONTHS 6 delivery dates they did not show up.
We tried to cancel once and they hung up on us, we were told once in the computer it not there problem and the ever so popular let me put you on hold… forever. We asked if we could pick it up they said there machines we broken so they couldn’t get it downThank you Home Depot for charging me every month for a product we still have never have received.this man is 67 years old and his son has cerebral palsy, I’ve have now seen them carry there washing machine and dry in and out of there home 6x

Absolutely avoid Home Depot at all costs, especially TJ who usually hovers around self checkout and abuses customers like your some sort of criminal, also prices aren’t updated, I bought propane which was advertised at $59.99 but was charged $70 without taxes, i will forever be going to spenards after the horrible experiences I’ve had at Kenai Home Depot.

I've reluctantly spent tens of thousands of dollars here. Most workers are great. Problems is orders are consistently misplaced, incomplete, delayed, or damaged. Be sure to get the name of whoever you deal with for anything, because no one else will be able to tell you what is going on.

We always have excellent service from every employee we run into. Recently in Kenai, we made a long drive from Homer to pick up equipment that we were told would in our big SUV.....It didn't.

Noel, in customer service was wonderful. With Robert going above and beyond, recruiting a team with Dan and Steve, they came up with a new plan. Doing extra work, working as a team, using creative thinking, they loaded a giant beast that just barely fit, into the back of our rig. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! Excellent employees! All done with skill, smiles, and great customer service! THANK YOU!

By far the best home Depot I have ever shopped at and I'm a builder and I have been in hundreds of home Depots all over the lower 48 states and every one in Alaska and I worked for the family and I didn't like the store I worked at nor half of the employees that I worked with were idiots and didn't know anything about anything that they were selling unlike the people that work at the kenai store I shop there every day several times a day and they always greet me with my name and a smile and they are knowledgeable about what they are selling and helpful they are by far the best home Depot and they are the model of what the company should be

Seems to have difficulty keeping things in stocks, and that's what they will actually stock. Wanted a 20x30 tarp and the only brands they stock are the most expensive ones in their online inventory. Way to show either sheer incompetence, or do your best to stick it to your customers

Went here yesterday to buy more than $2000 of materials for a project. I needed 4x6 20 footers and 6x6 16 footers, one of which was on a second level, and both of which are pretty heavy and hard for one person to wrestle into a cart. So I asked for some forklift help. Come to find out there was an hour wait for a forklift. I went up to the pro-desk and asked if I could get on the forklift list or whatever and go get some lunch. The young lady basically said no, if I left and came back and the wait was still an hour, I would have to wait another hour. I asked if they could pull this stuff for me and put it on a cart. Her answer was that I was asking for a will call and that would take three days. Every time she spoke to me it was like I was bothering her and when I said I would just go to Spenards she sarcastically said have a nice day. The whole time there's employees standing around. I don't know how they stay in business.

I recently had a very pore experience at the paint department, where a over aggressive and rudely condescending employee butted her nose into my wife and my conversation and instead we new nothing about our decision in painting our bathroom. I know that getting a decent employee to work for you is almost impossible but the home Depot should implement a customer service training program. Because this person should never be in the position of customer service. As I will never walk into that store again !

Bought a well pump in February, froze up and wouldn't work in October. It's warranty is 3 years. I call the company, get the code to get a refund as I had to purchase another and costed over 500$. Got there and was told they were putting my refund on a home depot gift card. When I declined, the guy became offended and I told him that was a scam and absolutely was not okay. Cost of the pump on the credit card acquiring interest and he wants to give me a home depot gift card. I stood my ground and he did eventually put the refund back on my card. Could have saved a lot of rudeness and stress had it took care of it from the beginning. I'll go elsewhere at this point.

Como en todas partes de usa donde los hay, tiene todo lo que necesitas para tus construcciones, arreglo, casa etc. En Kenai a veces la atencion es pesima...pero no hay otro lugar donde puedas conseguir Buenos precios por esto mis 5 estrellas...pero hay que entrenar mas al personal que atiende al publico
