I bought a washing machine from this branch Paid for install
When the installers came, their truck was too tall and ripped powerlines down at my house
Which I had to pay for out-of-pocket to restore service to my home
When I called the store manager, she said there was nothing she could do but reported to her insurance company who never contacted me
I reported this to her several times and she could care less they never resolved my issue
I can honestly tell you that they came damaged my home and just put me on the pay no mind list
I was never able to get paid back
Their insurance company never contacted me
The whole time the manager sounded like she could care less
Maybe they need to pay their managers more so they get somebody competent or something

The customer service here is absolutely stellar. I had an emergency need for a few pieces of cut lumber boards 10 minutes before they were closing. Mark N. didn't even flinch when I asked for this. I first spoke to him, profusely apologizing for coming in so late and asking for a task. He was so kind and said it was no problem at all, and reassured me many times. He was extremely helpful in picking out the proper wood type for my needs, and helped carry everything. You have hired a true asset to your company with Mark Thank you again,Mark N. (Also, thank you for your service in the military!) You saved the day for us!

I wanted to write a review and specifically thank Will. First, he was very willing to help run the panel saw for me despite having other tasks he was working on. He helped me with a smile, had great conversation & thankfully knew how to properly run the saw so it didn’t blow out the edges of my sheet… which is atypical for Home Depot locations.

I recently ordered a refrigerator from the Warrenton location and when the delivery drivers came a week later they didn't deliver it because of there are rules on parking and obstructing roadways I have adequate parking next to my house and cross the street from my house that is not impeding traffic whatsoever did the delivery drivers left because they felt that it was a hazard and or it was impeding traffic I called the delivery company the receptionist was very rude and insistent on scheduling me a week out she would not listen to me as far as me suggesting that they be more specific on the contract as far as their parking guidlines she said we expect homeowners to be aware of their surroundings in their parking situation anyway I called your store and talked to Libby she was very very accommodating she scheduled us for the next day which she was puzzled as well why the delivery company scheduled us for a week out to deliver the fridge as if the receptionist was just being condescending and vindictive and decided we needed our fridge a week later rather than the next day for their not being specific on their delivery criteria libby is an example of stellar customer service and I recommend that she gets a raise for this or at least is recognized for her monumental customer service libby is the queen of the day for home Depot and all home depots across the world

Love this place! My kids love this place if I would let my kids they would move in LOL. Everybody that works here is so amazing. I was just here earlier today and the gentleman itself check out was wonderfully sweet very kind to me and my kids helped me check out. Answered all of my questions. Absolutely love this place everybody there is such amazing people

It's been a while since I reviewed this HD and have been shopping here since they opened, so have seen many of the different levels of efficiency that this store can operate at. Being a local craftsman, I had occasion to visit the store frequently.
I was in the store then other day with an issue about a handset for an entry door that had failed. Suffice it to say that it wasn't a straightforward exchange due to stock, policies, manufacturer, etc. They hung in there to Get me taken care of however, for one reason or another, multiple trips were involved. Everybody was doing all they/we could and it was slowly (through no fault of HD CS - they were great!) being rectified.
Then, Jack Iba (customer experience manager) overhears a little, and sorta stepped in to help out with the process. He was fantastic and I went away with what I needed - it was a team effort however and all should be credited.
In closing, I believe that this store is currently the all time best version of itself - since the beginning. Im not saying this because they covered a door knob ..... but because even with the new faces, their customer service is as good or better than most other stores with much larger employee feed lots, corporate budget allocations, and just plain getting merchandise to stock the shelves with. Well done Everybody.

Honestly, I only shop here because there's nothing closer that has what I need. At this point I don't know why they even have employees. No one greets you, no one bothers to even ask if you need help, and it's self checkout only. Considering I do their job for them, we should be getting a discount.

Today 6-10-24 my neighbor and I went in to get some chalkboard paint, rollers, a weed sprayer and some weed killer around 1pm. I chose a mobility scooter that had a short in it and stopped every few seconds whole trying to shop, which was super fun. Then when I told the self check out guy he stuck his nose up in the air and ignored me after he asked if he could help us. He was so rude I almost asked for the manager--epic fail on the customer service front. Which unfortunately is commonplace for this Home Depot. The cherry on the cake was when the thing gave out after only 10 minutes of use showing a full charge when I started in the middle of the road and I felt obligated to push the 1000lb thing out from behind all the cars bc there was no parking attendant in sight. If there was an option for no stars...I would have given zero.

I was helped purchase a gas range last night by “Rachel” - Rachel made up for every single person in that store that couldn’t or wouldn’t help me. Her customer was service was impeccable , she was knowledgeable, courteous and paid very fine attention to detail . If it weren’t for the first gal in customer service rolling her eyes at me, I would have given this business five stars

1) shed I ordered, received, installed, ordered replacement part (received) direct from manufacturer, and phoned to tell HD that I received...still shows running late on delivery (month old). 2) ordered rug online, delivery delayed and no information available through HD until two days ago when it said it would arrive May 28th; received phone call from shipper May 20th and it is being delivered May 21st from shipper (not HD), but still shows no information available on HD tracking site. 3) ordered 55 bags of mulch on May 16th for delivery May 20th; received various emails confirming date and saying delivery would be between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., though I later was told by delivery person that no deliveries before 7 a.m. or after 5 p.m.; after waiting all day on the 20th and receiving several emails saying delivery was 5 stops away, then 6 stops, then 2 stops and between 4:43 and 5:23, then at 4:55 received email saying no delivery could be made; then phoned and was assured that I would be first to receive delivery May 21st; then received email saying bags would not be delivered until the 22nd between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.; confirmed May 22nd by phone, and at 8:01(May 21st) received text that my order was on it's way, doorbell rang at 8:02 a.m. and there were my 55 bags of mulch waiting to be dropped off! Delivery guys were super sweet, efficient and apologetic but could not explain customer service confusion. Moral of this review: do not believe anything HD says by text, email, or phone!!! regarding delivery.

I purchased Behr stain from here yesterday, unfortunately the color was drastically to light. I went back to see if there was anything they could add to the custom color to darken the stain.

Unfortunately the answer was no on everything I asked.

I understand this might have not been possible, however when it’s almost $50 a gallon, I would have thought the paint counter would have been nice during our conversation.

I guess I should not have expected her (Casey) to have any empathy, she was condescending to me when I was asking her for help during the purchase.

Home Depot should really teach their employees to treat customers better!

I did have a good ending to my mishap, I called the Behr company directly and asked for a solution to darkening the stain.

The Behr Paint company treated me with kindness and it sending me a gallon of stain to replace the one I bought from Home Depot!

As for the Home Depot employee, well I don’t have anything nice to say about you, so I just won’t! Casey in paint, learn to treat customers better, even if you don’t have a good solution

I went into home depot to get blinds for a rental property. I was quoted a price during their 50% off sale for bali shades. I had planned on going thru amazon but HD's sale made the price only slightly higher and the installation was very affordable. I told the home depot sales associate I wanted the blinds, but I absolutely had to have them installed no later than the end of may because its a rental property. They said they should be done way before then, no problem, so we moved forward and she took my money for the measuring fee. It took their installer almost a month to come out and measure, then the associate was gone for a week. By the time she got back to me, she tried to say that the blinds werent on sale anymore. It was never made clear to me that I wouldn't pay the quoted price at the time I agreed to move forward. To tell the customer one price then demand another after taking payment for measurement is horrible customer service! Its not my fault they took forever! Further more, I checked back in with their installer and they couldnt say when the blinds would be installed, but it very likely could be delayed until June. I asked home depot if they would honor the original price and I would install them myself. Initially they said yes, then the associate came back and said that they would only honor the price if I used their installer! At this point I did what I should have done in the first place, order the dang blinds myself thru amazon. They'll be here in two weeks and I saved myself over $500, weeks of delays, plus more importantly the hassle of dealing with home depot. Never again!!!

Absolutely. The worst customer service I have ever received at home depot. I am very sad to say. I purchased over $200 worth of product.
I needed a board A piece of low grade fir molding I picked out a board That's close 5 feet as I could get That is all I need. Took to the front of the store paid everything up except for the board The person itself check out grabs. The subordinate walked over to the front door throw it against the wall and says it's 5 foot 4. You must pay for that 4 inches. I said I don't want the 4 inches. He says then walk back, cut it off and come up and we'll finish your transaction. I said good grief. It's 4 inche you will throw it away. But you're going to waste my time over 4 inches. Which would be less than 75 cents. Needless to say, I will never, ever go back to Warrenton home depot. I then went and spoke to the manager. Who said the same thing and said he would not do anything to make the situation better. I told him that I have a pro account. And I do a lot of money with home depot. He said he would not could not help me.

Michael at the Pro Desk gave me 5 star customer service over the phone. I needed an online item, but it was going to take too long to order. He was able to find an in-stock item and set me up with delivery. Michael went out out of his way to deliver 5 star customer service. I've only had good experiences working with the staff at this Home Depot.

Not a huge fan of Home Depot, anymore, especially after the corporate treatment of employees and the corporate politics have been exposed. That being said, they're almost the only game in town, so I have to take what I can get. I almost always try Ace Hardware or the hardware store in Astoria first.
05/2025 - They have a good selection of spring plants and flowers. Too bad they're so ridiculously expensive.

Good price on stuff. Mostly friendly employees. I'd give five stars, but they never have lumber carts readily available which is highly inconvenient.
Recently had really bad customer service from the white-haired older guy working customer service desk. I asked for assistance with getting a chainsaw as they were behind lock and key. They guy totally blew me off after I had waited over ten minutes. When I finally tracked a different employee down to help he led me to get checked out by the same guy who blew me off in the first place. The guy smirked at me like he thought it was funny that he left me hanging with no help. I actually think I hate that white haired employee. I'll be making sure I get his name next time so I can post it here and elsewhere. The guy is a real jerk.
