Home Depot should add a section for the girlfriends to sit and wait. Chairs, vending machine, a coffee machine maybe. They'd get more snack revenue and the girlfriends wouldn't have to stand awkwardly in the aisle waiting
Aside from that, friendly staff, well organized.

I had to do a phone order for some building materials and delivery. Roni, the HD representative I ended up on the phone with, was such a great help, very polite, and just pleasurable.
I hope Home Depot recognizes great employees like Roni.

I bought a riding mower, and not one person knew how to work it. I will tell you, though, the guy up front helped me out a lot. We couldn't get 1 person from the garden to go out and help me. So, like I said, he went out and helped me and answered questions he knew. Then, after I bought it, I went back in and bought something else afterward, and he asked if I was a vet. I said yes and told him I just bought a riding mower, too. I always forget, and I never really ask for a discount. So I always forget. I asked if I could still get a discount on the mower. A few people said I have to go download the app, sign up, and prove I'm a vetran. Then a vet said he would help me sign up, do the refund, and re•ring me up to give the vetran discount. Tha5 right there was very cool. Being disabled that discount helped me a lot. I would hive them 50 stars

Yesterday at around 9 pm we went to Home Depot on Karcher rd and Caldwell blvd, we bought 4 different appliances (three of which were not available in store and are being shipped to our home) we were able to take one of them yesterday (a refrigerator). The lady that helped us with the purchase was very helpful and nice however Robert the man that helped us load up the refrigerator was very rude to us and another one of his female coworkers, as he was getting ready to load it up he even there his gloves aggressively. Even though he was rude we still said thank you twice and we were ignored.

I ordered online and pick up in store. They didn’t inspect the damage from UPS shipping and now that I am ready to install this long weekend, no air conditioner. With a “special buy” wait a week for next one. You know they saw the hole in the box, it is where my name is to tell them who the order is for.

I love coming to Home Depot and my and my finance visit quite frequently as we take pride in our yard. I came to make a return and the card was my fiancés which I had used to make the purchase. We share funds as I am in school full time and that shouldn’t even had to be clarified but the man working was older had a crooked lower right tooth (only thing I could distinguish as I didn’t get a name) was very rude. He was discriminating me and told me that I was trying to commit a felony in his exact words. My finance has a Hispanic name and I am very white so he made it very clear that I am not Hispanic and did not want to proceed with the return even after presenting him the card and text messages exchanged between me and my finance and he said he didn’t care. I understand the policy but the way he went about this was very unprofessional and discriminatory. Let’s not mention I have returned things in the past that was purchased with my finances card and never had an issue.

If you get a customer-no-service rep on the phone (at the store) who can't assist with your issue but tells you they'll pass it on to someone who can and that someone will call you back...they lie! No one passed on any issue to anyone, and no one calls back. Their (her) acting was good, had me fooled. I really thought they wanted to help. Wrong!

I LOVE this company as a whole and would give Home Depot 5 stars. However, their online ordering system could use some improvements - Specifically in how their database interacts with vendor shipment analytics.

Many of the orders I have placed online for products that are not readily available in-store have experienced delays in ETA and have inaccurate updates/tracking information. As a result, I have learned to not trust the date listed for the "estimated delivery day".

I received one order 6 days after the ETA stated in the email I received when it was shipped. In an attempt to find an updated time for when I could expect the large order, I checked the order details multiple times each day and didn't see any updates for multiple days in a row. When I called customer service, they told me that they could only see what I saw and that I would need to call back the following week (after the weekend) to request that they reach out to the vendor for a more accurate update.
The tracking information/details section of the order didn't provide any updates until the morning it was delivered. At that point, all of the vendor updates were uploaded to the Home Depot system's order details at once and I could see ALL of the daily detail breakdowns from the prior week that I was looking for when I had previously logged on (when the information would have been relevant).

The delay in order detail updates prevented me from receiving relevant information/communication and feeling frustration by not knowing when the product I had already paid for was going to arrive.

Still love the heck out of the company and will continue to shop here, but please PLEASE improve your system's order details so your customers can trust the data again.

We went in today to find some sprinkler caps, and while doing that I was looking at plants and one of the employees was loading a cart with plants, this cart was filled with plants just getting tossed in, my husband asked if we could buy them, or if they were going to be discounted. The employee advised no they have to just throw them out and can't sell them. Most the plants looked fine and just needed some extra love. Sad to see how many plants were getting thrown out and wasted.

Don’t bother asking someone that’s WORKING for assistance finding something. Had the pleasure (not really) of meeting Frank, on Friday 4/25/25 around 8:30pm, asked him if they had A specific kind of strap when I was already staring at the straps, instead of an “not sure let’s find it” or A normal response from a worker he decided to tell me “everything we have is right here” with a clear lack of interest in helping me out. You wouldn’t know he was getting paid with his clear lack of interest in his job or a customer trying to spend their hard earned money. Thanks for nothing Frank! From now on I’ll be shopping at Lowe’s or any of the other countless hardware stores in this town.

I really appreciated the help from Paul in this Home Depot today. I needed all appliances for a house we just bought. He jumped over from flooring to take pics of all the tags, get everything put in for me, and set up for delivery. I was about to go to another store so I'm glad he helped me out.

It's Home Depot. Research whatever it is you are doing on the internet first so you know what to buy. Help there with particular projects are hit or miss, but I've experienced that with Lowe's and others as well, so I can't knock them for that. If Lowe's doesn't have it, Home Depot might and vise versa. Just glad they are close together so I can compare.

They are very helpful every time and Always go the extra mile. Today gentleman, Sergio help me out With getting these lightbulbs, I needed for my shop And he went the extra mile by making sure they were in stock and climbing a ladder to grab him from the top opening the box and getting me a cart. Great hospitality and customer service!!
