E & H Roofing

Out of the four companies that we had contacted to get bids for our new roof they were the only one that actually showed up to do an in person inspection. The rest just used google earth or a drone. John's thorough inspection even pointed out some code issues without siding and included fixing them in out quote as well.

His crew was more than professional and was done in one day (they estimated two days) and very meticulous in their cleanup.

Additionally they include a 10 year workmanship warranty and the other companies only offer five. Which tells me a lot about the quality of the workmanship.

In my opinion this is the only roofing company in the valley you should deal with.

About 2 years ago I hired E&H Roofing to replace the roof on one of my rental properties in Caldwell. The did a fantastic job.
A few months ago, I had them replace the roof on my own home and once again the did a fantastic job.
The words I would use to best describe John, Enrique and the E&H crew are: Honesty, Integrity, Craftsmanship, Quality, and Professionalism.
I recommend E&H Roofing for any roofing work that one should need.

I have a ~1400 sq. ft. home. I got 6 bids ranging from a barebones $11k to a predatory $32k (nothing special was in this bid).
I ultimately went with E & H at around $13.5k. I found their sales team to be thoughtful and low pressure. The working team was efficient and easy to work with over the 1.5 days the job took.
I would recommend considering E & H for any residential roofing job.

These guys did a great job. Worked with me even though I was out of town for work. Treated me as if I was a face to face customer. We love our new roof! E&H was wonderful from the moment I called their office to get a quote. The quote was done quickly and a crew was in place right away. The crew was super professional and took just two days to tear off our old roof and put on a new one. Each day our yard was left very clean and the laughing and bantering amongst the crew told me they loved their job. I had roof damage from ice dams last winter. My home is in McCall. I tried most of the local roofers but it appears they were too busy to call me back. I used Angi's List for the first time and got a call from E & H roofing. They were busy with roof damage from wind storms in the Boise, Nampa, Caldwell area but still managed to complete my small repairs in Mccall. The repair was excellent! I recommend E&H roofing and would use them again in the future.

I started my roof repair research online and looked up companies that supported my area and had good reviews.

I found E & H Roofing and noticed that they had great reviews and gave them a call. They were very responsive and booked an inspection of my roof. Working through the process with the insurance and the roofing company, John was great with communication and willing to make time to meet.

After mulling over the data, I decided that the roof just needed replacing as it was only a matter of time. Working with John was easy, he came out to bring colors of roof based on mine and my wife's choices. He offered suggestions based on his experience.

The whole process from initial contact/inspection to coordinating a date to do the install (we opted for a full replace/install) was extremely smooth and expectations were set well. Cost was known ahead of time and was reasonablly priced.

The date of install came and again the process was smooth. The team was on time and extremely efficient. The project manager that came on-site and introduced himself. Him and his team worked hard and everything was great from start to finish. The process took two days that were coordinated ahead of time.

E & H did an excellent job when I used them in 2017 for a small roof replacement. Other townhouses also used them when they saw what a great job they did. In April of 2023 they replaced the rest of the roof. Jim explained everything to me along with the project manager. The crew was very friendly. Genesis in the office was very patient when walking me through the loan applications and answered my questions. Everything went smoothly! I would highly recommend E & H for any roof.

They replaced our roof in November and did a great job. They were a bit more expensive than the other bids, but they explained everything in detail and walked through all the options for different materials. I'm picky, and am entirely satisfied with the quality of the work, nothing to complain about. Each day, they picked up all the mess from that day which was nice. Had E&H inspect my roof after hiring a questionable (not E&H) contractor to reshingle my roof. The front office did a great job of getting my info and quickly coordinating the inspection. The inspector showed up right on time, provided an overview of the process and got right to work. Following his inspection he went over the highlights, which for the most part were positive, and pointed out an area of concern for me to discuss with the underlay manufacturer.

Overall I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that everyone I dealt with at E&H provided.

Had E & H Roofing come out to inspect and give a bid on my metal roof. Pete was very professional and knowledgeable. He looked the roof over and said they could send someone out and charge me for the time, but that there wasn't anything that needed done, and that the roof was in good shape. I like an honest business that won't try to charge for unnecessary work. If I ever actually have a leak or damage to my roof, my only call will be to E & H Roofing.

E&H did a great job working with my insurance company, my new roof looks great and everything was done promptly and professionally. The only complaint I would have is the clean up afterwards I'm still finding nails around the yard, that's probably pretty common but I don't know.

Of the estimates we received, John was the only one that spent significant amount of time inspecting our roof prior to providing the estimate. On construction day, they arrived on time and were professional and friendly throughout. They completed the job in one day as promised, despite the fact that the decking needed to be re-done. They did a great job cleaning up and the same crew was here from start to finish. In the end, the final cost came in lower than the estimate which NEVER happens. We were a little skeptical about the ridge venting in terms of what it would look like, but E&H did a beautiful job and we LOVE the look of that as well as the whole roof! Out of the four companies we met with, these guys were the most knowledgeable. They had no problem with the difficulty of the job (steep, three-story roof which others seemed hesitant to work on), offered the best quality materials, and even changed up our ventilation system, which has helped immensely in cooling down not only the third floor, but the whole house. He was very helpful from dealing with my insurance company, providing a fair and competitive estimate, providing samples for approval prior to installation, and doing a outstanding job with installation. I also asked if Edgar could remove and install new gutters and transition from asphalt shingle roof to metal patio cover, which he was able to complete within my budget. My roof and gutters look great and he even had custom flashings installed throughout to ensure proper drainage. After the job was complete, Edgar made it a point to come by and make sure that I was satisfied with the end result. E&H is now my roofing contractor!

Had a small patio roof that needed repaired. John was great to work with and was more than willing to let me take care of the tear off and repair the sheeting that was damaged from the leaking roof to help reduce the bill. His guys showed up earlier than expected, which I appreciated. They showed up at noon and where rolling out at 2:30, i couldnt believe how quick they knocked this out. I priced out buying materials to complete the job myself and John's bid was only about 25% more than what just the materials would of cost me on this small job.
