If you are looking to get a new roof or needing repairs, I highly recommend Mountain View. We had another company install our roof. Multiple mistakes were made that the roofer was not able to resolve, and it led to a lot of frustration. Adam was willing to come out and fix all the mistakes and problems even though they had not installed the roof. Adam and Mountain View are knowledgeable, and they care about the quality of their work! I cannot stress enough how important it is to go with a reputable company that has good reviews and a solid track record.

Super friendly and easy to work with, they went above and beyond with our new roof and when they left, the place was spotless. Showed up at about 9:30am and they finished the job and were gone by 2pm. Mountain View Roofing arrived early with 5-6 pickups and a 8+ man crew. The old roof was removed and replaced with a new roof in about 5 hours! They even replaced the little roof on my pump house. I cannot recommend MountainView roofing highly enough. They redid my roof a few years ago. I’m very Type A when it comes to hiring service providers. I’m also a big researcher. It’s the reason why I’m almost 60 and I’m only on my second toaster. I have lived in my home since 1990. During that time, I have dealt with several different roofing companies because I live in a high wind area that results in one side of my home occasionally losing shingles during big wind storms. As my roof got older, every roofing company that came out, gave me a hard sell sales pitch about the need to replace my roof immediately. Based simply on the age of my roof, I knew the time was coming, so I began doing my research. The next time I lost a couple of shingles, I called MountainView roofing because they were one of the companies I was considering hiring for my roof replacement. Adam, who I later learned, was one of the owners of the business, came out. He was very knowledgeable. Unlike the other roofers, he did not give me a sales pitch. I asked him what he thought about the condition of my roof. He told me I had a couple of years life left on it. Adam left a few extra shingles in my garage for the next time some blew off. About a year later, a few did, and Adam came out to replace them. He wouldn’t charge me for the work, stating that he lived nearby, and it was just a couple of shingles. It was then that I asked Adam for an estimate on my roof replacement. I also asked him some questions about his crew. I work in a field where a lot of my clients over the years have struggled with substance abuse issues. While I have a lot of compassion for anyone, dealing with that, I did not want someone who wasn’t 100% sober, or not performing at their best for ANY reason, working on my roof. It’s simply too expensive a project to risk haphazard quality work. I shared my concerns with Adam, who gave me reassurance that he works with a small, tight crew, that he knows well, none of who even drink or smoke. He also said that he himself would be there to oversee the work. Adam spent time educating me about roof replacement options, as well as the process. He recommended a higher quality architectural shingle, and said because I was in a high wind area, he would do 7 nails per shingle. I later learned 4 roofing nails per shingle is the norm, but if you live in a high wind area, 6 nails is recommended. He also intended to hand hammer in the nails, not use a nail gun. The day, Adam and his crew came out to put on my new roof, I work from home because I had heard horror stories about how noisy it could be, and was concerned about how my cats would handle it. Adam and his crew made putting on my new roof as positive experience as it could possibly be. They were on time, polite and respectful of me and the neighbors, and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Adam even did a couple of extras, no charge. He noticed there were a couple areas on my roof where leaves tend to build up. He put some kind of metal in the corner of those eaves to help leaves slide down once they hit that part of the roof. I’m not sure what they’re called, but they weren’t on the original estimate, and I was not charged for them. I was beyond impressed by the quality of work in customer service. I received from Adam, and MountainView Roofing. I would hire his company again without hesitation. I only wish every service provider was as exemplary.

In preparation for installation of a solar panel project, my 24'X40' shop roof needed a full metal panel to replace one that had a wood stove chimney installed. Although the solar project was aborted, Mountainview Roofing was able to fit the job into a tight schedule. They replaced the panel and refastened the entire roof for a very reasonable price. They were prompt, courteous, efficient and I highly recommend them for any roofing project.

Years ago, Mountain View replaced roofs for two long-time neighbors who were completely satisfied with Adam and his crew. At the time we had Adam Inspect our (20-yr-old wood shake) roof and rather than push for a sale, he said our roof still had life left in it. Fast forward about five more years...both neighbors STILL live in the "hood and have had NO problems, and it was time for our roof replacement. Mountain View's bid was one of five bids we got and it was the lowest, by far! Not only did we have the assurance of their work's quality, because we could see it every day right across the street at the neighbor's, they gave the lowest bid. BTW, no big dog-and-pony presentation, either; just a straight forward, clear and detailed bid. Finally, Adam has a great sense of humor and his crew is polite and professional. His "clean-up" guy left our yard neater looking than when they arrived! Highly recommend them!

Mountain View Roofing was great to work with. Our roof (the original roof that's 20 years old) had a couple spots where it was leaking when the snow would pile up on the roof and Mountain View Roofing was able to come out and install a flashing in those 2 areas and we haven't had any issues since. The guys were able to make it out here quickly, and they were very professional.

Our cedar shake roof had lived it's lifespan and needed to be replaced so I began researching roofing options and decided to go with an architectural asphalt shingle. Through my research I had determined which product I wanted to use and contacted four roofing contractors to make bids on the re-roof of our home. The owner was straight forward and not salesy at all. Their price reflected the fact that they don't pay a sales team to push their product. They are GAF certified and did a great job on installing the roof. We had a couple unique requests that they were more than happy to accommodate. They do not sub-contract the work and their team was professional and friendly.

Mountain View Roofing was referred by my contractor. I reached out and had a reply almost immediately. The owner of the company came out to inspect my roof leak personally. I had another roofing company come to my house unsolicited and tell my wife we had a huge valley in our roof and he could see my roof collapsing from the road. They had came to solicit twice before this, so my wife was beginningto panic, heck I was too.

As a rule I don't use contractors who solicit door to door. So I reached out and a friend of mine referred me to Mountain View Roofing who came out immediately to check it out. They told me my roof was fine, did some minor repairs on some missing shingles and didn't even charge me. They had every opportunity to rip me off but chose to do real honest business.

From the original quote process, they took the time to make sure we understood all options and features and were the only company to suggest updating our skylights at the same time to ensure the entire roof was new. Mountain View Roofing just finished a complete tear off and re-roofing of my 100 year old home. Adam and his crew were great. They showed up on time, had 3 layers of old shingles off in about 2 hours and placed OSB, shingles, vents and flashing. They were professional, reasonably priced and even added in a kitchen exhaust vent for free. Adam also added in vents under the eves to improve attic circulation. Finally, he came back by himself the following day to personally clean up around the house.

A neighbor of mine used Mountain View Roofing a few years back, and recommended them to me. I was extremely happy with their services. They gave me a competitive bid, were on time to replace my roof, arrived early each morning and worked incredibly hard each day. Roofing was an enormous mess, and they meticulously went over my entire yard and the perimeter before stopping work every day, making sure not a nail, not a shard, and no dusty residue was left behind. I was extremely happy with the good work they did, the care they took with the job itself and the cleanup thereafter. I’d happily recommend them to anyone.

I was having trouble finding anyone to come out and give me a quote or even call me back and I found mountainview roofing online and figured I would call and give it a shot. Cindy answered and came over with in a couple hours to take a look at our roof and work up a quote for us. She was wonderful and did a great job explaining everything to me. Even noticed a lil problem with the siding sitting flush to the roof (which they came out early to fix for me before my house got painted.) Once they came out to start the roof it was so easy, I didn't have to worry out do anything. They did a great job, they made sure everything was cleaned up each day they were there. The guys that worked on the house were so friendly. Out of the 3 quotes I had to replace the whole roof their quote was the best with the best warranty on shingles and labor. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I had my roof redone a couple of years ago and was extremely happy with the speed of the job and the final results. All of the employees I had contact with where very polite and friendly. So my opinion of this company was so high I even refered work to them for friends homes. Fast forward to today and I walk out my door to find that an employee is back to check for a recalled product to potentially replace a flashing on my roof if needed. I would have had no idea that it was an issue and they could have just let it go unchecked. Top notch ethics

Upon inspection, they found bare wood showing on a section of our roof. We were told it would be 30 days before they could replace the roof. In the mean time, they offered a temporary repair of that section for free. I was relieved, because snow season was right around the corner. When they did replace the roof, it took them less time than they estimated. They were awesome to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I reached out to them via their website about replacing my roof and I got contacted the very next day. Adam was very polite and patient with my never ending questions since this was my first time replacing a roof; we communicated mostly via e-mail and he was very responsive throughout this process. The quote I was given cam quickly and it was very fair. The project also started with the initial tentative date he provided. From day one his workers were very professional and made a great job cleaning up before leaving. There was an issue with the shingles that had been delivered (at no fault of this company) and Adam dealt it very quickly and communicated with me right away. Mountain View Roofing did a fantastic job on my 1,550 sq ft. home using Corning Asphalt "Teak" shingles. Adam is a man of integrity and even came back and re-installed a stronger hood fan on the roof at no extra cost. Even the men working for him, were great and hard workers to get the job done on time. The cleanup was impeccable with no rubbish anywhere. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend getting a quote and sensing for your self what a really good company they are.

Adam and his guys worked hard and did a great job on a challenging roof. My roof was old and had three layers of shingles instead of the expected two. They worked hard to get that third layer off and get back up to speed. They quickly repaired some bad spots on the deck. They also added extra vents and cleaned up everyday. The cost was reasonable and Adam was easy to work with.

We were happy that Mountain View Roofers we’re available to help us in the timeframe we needed. They were very professional, kind and stand behind their work. We have a difficult landscape to work around and they did their best to protect it...there were some broken branches in bushes and flowers (but really I think that would have been hard to not do for anyone...and those little broken pieces aren’t a big deal) They cleaned up well, especially considering that 3 layers of shingles were on there. I hope you are lucky enough to hire Adam and his crew. I had a tough reroof with wood shakes on a steep roof and replaced them with Landmark TL. They also had to replace the sheathing.
