Great place for home projects or commercial. At this location lots of store assistance and got items needed for projects fast. A lady assistant and 2 store gentleman were positively enthusiastic and I could tell loved home depot clients services.

Online shows qty 63 of lattice panels. So made the 1 hour drive. Go back and they are out. Asked service person and they said they are out. Had husband call and they told him they had 63, he explained situation and they said they are out and Internet is wrong. So the only option is to personally go to the store and check for yourself. Had same thing happen with my $4000 lifeproof order returned and went with flooret. No longer shopping there.

Never ever use curb pickup there. I placed an order for 6 bags of potting soil and 5 bags of mulch. Received a text saying it was ready. Got there and nothing on the app. Called two different numbers; no answer on either one. Finally somebody picked up and said it would be at least 10 minutes before someone could help me. 45 minutes later I finally had my order. They had pulled nothing and had nothing ready. Kept talking about not having enough staff//then why send me a text saying it was ready? Total mess and not the first time I've experienced this trying to pick up an order there. 45 minutes of my time wasted. I'm recovering from hip surgery and needed to have the pickup work. It was a disaster

Let me start by saying that I don’t usually write reviews—especially not negative ones—but my recent experience at the Pittsburg Home Depot deserves attention. The lack of professionalism and accountability I encountered this past weekend was deeply disappointing.

I rented a lift that, unfortunately, had a very low battery from the start. It was clear that the equipment had not been properly inspected or maintained before being sent out. I should have just taken it right back, but against my better judgment, I hoped I might be able to finish my small job before the battery gave out—but I was wrong.

I called the store and was told to return the lift and that I would receive a full refund for that day’s use, then I could rent it again the following day(at the regular 4 hour rate) to finish the job. As a result, something that should have taken just three hours turned into a two-day ordeal. I was given conflicting information and no one took real ownership of the situation. No one followed through on the refund I was promised, and no one seemed genuinely concerned about making things right. This wasn't just an inconvenience—it was also dangerous. The next day brought 30+ mph wind gusts, and working 35 feet in the air with a chainsaw in one hand and holding on for dear life with the other was not exactly safe or enjoyable. Then, I find out that I was charged significantly more than what a standard 24-hour rental would have cost me; all for just a 3 hour job. In all fairness I will say Trenton gave me a 10% discount for my trouble… a whole 28 dollars!, WOW !!! How generous of you.

While I won’t go into every detail here, the overall experience was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to say I won’t be returning to this Home Depot again—and I’m seriously considering deleting my Pro X account. There are other locally owned businesses in town that I’m sure would appreciate my support.

Actually, Home Depot & their staff were great! Gave 3 because they probably rated a 5 but the Frigidaire freezer we purchased didn’t even run a full year. Compressor isn’t running. Called Frigidaire because it is still under warranty but they said if the issue isn’t part of the warranty then we will have to pay. Offered us a discount ($154) to get the extended 1 year warranty that would cover up to $250 for ruined contents, unlimited technicians, unlimited parts and replacement if they can’t fix it. Wait a minute, shouldn’t that be the original warranty? Why would we want to replace a hunk of junk? So, I recommend avoiding any Frigidaire appliance.In my opinion, Frigidaire gets a 0.

As a former Home Depot employee, I have to say, what the hell happened to customer service. I actually had an employee suggest I order what I was looking for off Amazon. The young man in the paint department was a very knowledgeable and polite employee. No 1 cashier, all self checkouts. Too bad, because Behr paint is my go too.

I usually look ahead online to see if they have what I'm needing. If they do, I get the aisle information and walk straight to the product. So far, the product has always been where it says it is located via online/in-store.
Other times, I've gotten in store assistance.
In the more recent months, the in store assistance has improved tremendously and that is so very much appreciated! Thank you!

I went the Pittsburg, Kansas Home Depot on 12-9-2024 to pick up an online order and Kathy greeted me. She was very helpful and got my order filled quickly and the young man helped me load it in my truck. Thank you Kathy, good employee.

It's Home Depot and one of the only places in town to get almost everything home improvement related!

My last experience was great! The associate in lawn and garden was fantastic and even anticipated my needs!

This store has some really good products at decent prices, but they don't excel at customer service. It is difficult to find people for assistance and then when I ask questions, I often get told "I don't know anything about that." As an edit to the store owner/manager, I do not consider myself a loyal customer.

Crystal was very helpful in finding us a tool to borrow to remove a bolt and then taking that volt into the store to find one that matches it for us to purchase. She was patient and kind as we tried to figure it out, and despite it taking longer than we expected it to take.

If I could leave a zero star I would! The most arrogant condescending cabinet person I have ever encountered not to mention RUDE! I do not recommend this Home Depot store in Pittsburg Kansas and I will never return to this store again. The eye rolling and attitude was very ill mannered. If you want cabinets go anywhere else but here.

Think I will stop going here. Annoying enough there's no checkout option at 10am on a Tuesday, just self-checkout, but then the girl at self-check greets me with an over-the-top phony greeting, clearly making a mockery of a real greeting. As I go to answer her on how I am doing, she interrupts me and says, "Will you be using your Home Depot card today?" I tell her "No" then proceed to explain to her what I have in a bag of screws. She interrupts me AGAIN and starts to try and sell the card some more, I interrupt her back and say, "How about you let me talk now?" She rolls her eyes and turns her back to me. Then starts to count the 60 screws I told her about. She is purposely going so slowly; I will probably be there 5 minutes waiting for her. Either that or she is just completely incompetent at counting. Home Depot needs to move her as far away from customers as possible. I walked out without making the $200 purchase, probably never to return.

The staff is always so helpful. My fiancé was looking for pipe in a diameter they don't carry, so William, who was helping us, suggested another place and even said he'd cut the pipe down to size for us if they can't.

Nice store has great help. I always find what I need for my house repairs.

Update: went to home Depot today and everyone was so friendly. For my safety I had to wait until an employee got something off the very top of a big shelf. After that I went to check out an employee who helped me check out. I thought that was awesome. Unlike Walmart you check yourself out and you're being watched doing that. And then you go to leave and they want to see your receipt .
So I prefer to go to home Depot.
