The Home Depot - Lake City, FL

Bought a brand new Cub Cadet mower that is defective. Giving me trouble to get started every time. I had to charge every time.
Bought a 3 year extended warranty and it is a big waste of time and money.
The manufacturer doesn't help, the hd protection plan doesn't help and Home Depot Lake City doesn't help either.
They sent me to mechanics that don't accept the warranty and I ask to exchange the defective mower for another and they denied my request.
Do not get any extended warranty and avoid shopping at Home Depot Lake City.

I had visit the Home Depot in Lake City, Florida and used their rental services for a truck. When we returned the truck there was a mix-up on the return with another customer receipt. I went back to the store to discuss and get clarity and Loretta helped me by researching the mix-up. She was so professional to patiently guide me through to find the error and presented the error to the manage Kim Davis to assist in making the refund adjustment. I wanted to thank both associates for being so kind and patient to help me in fixing the error charge for my rental. Their customer service was so exceptional!

they were so awesome!! i took my elderly grandparents here because my grandfather wanted some supplies for his garden and porch. we got some wood, mulch, and carpet and the employees loaded it all up for us! i very much appreciated the help and patience. they made sure we were loaded up safely and took care of us! thanks yall!!

Worse Homedepot I've ever been to. The lumber dept should be ashamed. Came in on Monday evening to get PT 2x4's. The bin where they were there were about 15 or so that were the last of the pick (broken, warped, knotty) I asked an associate if there were more outside. He said take whats there. I said no thank you they aren't in good condition. With the most disrespectful attitude and voice he says just wait someone will be over. 15 minutes later atleast 5 employees walk past me standing by the isle. I walked back to the associate and asked how long it would be, he replied you'll get your answer soon. I lost it! When I said what does that mean? Him and the girl (other associate) started to laugh. When I said you think that's funny they laughed more as 1 guy tried to deescalate the situation, pretty sure he seen how upset I was. Before taking a assault charge I left, left the cart behind with merchandise and all. 2 other cashiers tried to talk to me saying sir, sir, sir can we help you. No thanks wont be back. Take that back, I'm returning everything that I have bought from homedepot for this fence project. When you see that white truck and black trailer pull up with 3 bundles of dog ear slats you'll know it's me.

For lumber and building supplies The Depot has the best. I am an expert on lumber Ive bought my best lumber there. .But that's just the begining, shop online at Homedepot get 2nd day free shipping on anything. I have shopped at the Depot for 40 years and trust quality and value are number one for pro's

This Home Depot in Lake City, FL is the worst one I've ever dealt with, and I've lived in Anchorage, AK, L.A., CA, Louisville, KY, & Knoxville, TN before this.
I ordered some kitchen cabinets that were dropped off on the porch on Monday, and even though we were both home, nobody bothered to ring the doorbell. When we discovered them outside, one was damaged.
I reported the damage, so they came & picked that one up on Tuesday, then nothing but crickets.
Today is Saturday, so I called their 800 Customer Svc number, who were helpful & said they'd talked to the store, and to expect a call within an hour. That was this morning. Still nothing but crickets.
I know that for Lake City, FL this is the only Home Depot for miles, but don't expect any kind of Customer Service from this location - they obviously don't care!!

Got a new stove from them, been waiting over a month on it, I had my gate open for them to bring it up my driveway and at least set it on my porch, they never called me just dumped it at my open gate by the trash, I would not have even known it was there if I had not looked called home Depot and they would do nothing about it, I can't move it myself and my husband has cancer and can't help, home Depot lies, I will never buy anything from them again I just do see how they would feel right about doing that to us

I always have a good experience here. Cashiers are very kind! Joe at the paint department is the best around!!!! 100%.

What a crap show the appliance delivery/install is!! Left new oven out about 3in from the counter off the wall but topped that off by jamming the washer drain hose just into the exterior wall instead of connecting it to the DRAIN pipe right THROUGH the wall!! FLOODED my whole lower floor & porch. Idiots or Lazy??? BOTH!! Just go elsewhere

Just want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Mr. Bill in plumbing. He is absolutely amazing and highly knowledgeable. Bless him for still being in the working field at his age. He definitely loves his job and deserves recognition. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service and helping us get everything we needed. We learned a few things from you as well. Again thank you and we shall see you again.

I used to be a home Depot employee in the old days and with the new management and the corporate philosophy I find the experience totally horrid luckily enough I know my own way around so I do not have to deal with other people The home Depot culture is dead because home Depot corporate does not instill bleeding orange in their employees anymore it is such a sad sad thing

I just want to say, please do not buy a Cub Cadet or extended warranty from this store. If you can don't buy any appliance here. Management is horrible, extended warranty does not cover power repair persons in the area, those who might try to help want to charge $125 to pick it up and tell you they don't take their warranty because insurance company doesn't pay them.
We have gotten the run around from them, Cub Cadet and warranty place.
We paid for faulty machine and no one is responsible.
