The Home Depot - Barboursville, WV

Went to get a specialized tool. Headed to customer service to see if they had in stock Associates immediately search for item give me some alternative. Headed off to the area to inspect merchandise. Associates returned to that area to assist me even further. After finding that they did not have what I was looking for they spent even more time finding another alternative which I purchased. Great job, friendly staff.

They have some really good sales right now on items for spring. Lots of beautiful plants and hanging baskets. They look to be very healthy. There are some large tropical plants on sale now for $14.99

A team remodeling and all its customers will no longer be buying any material from Home Depot. I just drove an hour to pick up about $1000 of material and I just had a few returns to make and forgot my receipt at home and I was denied a return I spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Home Depot because it used to be my favorite home improvement store. I will now be taking me and my customers all to Lowes from now onHome Depot’s return policy has just took my last nerve

Stopped in to pick up a Klein breaker finder (80016). Looked around the shelves in the electronics tools, looking at the store map on the website and unfortunately I couldn't find it. While looking I bumped into a store associate, Shawn, who went above and beyond to locate it. They even matched it up to an advertised sale price for me. Shawn and the other manager ensured I found exactly what I needed and at the right price too. 5/5 top marks, get those gentlemen a pay raise for running such a nice store.

We got a drill and impact drill the employee was polite and quick to get it for us and very informative at the register on any helpful plans or uses for them and great prices

Was searching for a new front door handle and keypad. They have a good variety. Pricing was a little high.

Earlier today I stopped in to find a bulb for an old lamp. Shouldn't be a big deal, right? It was found at an estate sale by my aunt, and seems to require an odd sized bulb. I stopped by Customer Service, and asked for help. Someone was paged, and I went on over to Aisle 1 and waited. And waited. I began to try bulbs that were in open boxes, and came up empty. So, I went back to customer service. Someone was paged again. Nope. Hoping the third time would be the charm, someone was paged again. A gentleman began to make his way toward me from another area, and when I told him what I needed, he looked through the bulbs and then said "Let me find the person who works in this area." He walked off. Disappeared. Never saw him again. At that point I was concerned that I was going to begin screaming my head off at Home Depot out of frustration. Another woman was waiting, so I walked up and said, "Ma'am, you are going to hopefully benefit from my asking for help because I am outta here. Can not wait for one more minute."

On my way out, I stopped by customer service again to get the name of the young guy who did his best to help me. His name is Tauvea, and he is a gem. Did everything he could to get help for me, to no avail. But it was not his fault. He was the only one who seemed to actually give a you-know-what.

Called to check status of order nobody ever answered the phone for 23 min. Had to call 1800 number and have them call the store to tell them to answer. This store really needs some proper management. The managers don't step in and help when employees are overloaded. Home depot sure don't have the leadership or customer service they use to.

Very clean store, tons of selection for just about anything you are looking for. Chad, The assistant manager, was very nice and helpful with our refrigerator purchase. I will always choose Home Depot over Lowes. I always have a good experience at this store.

This is my home away from home, but I am now over an hour away from it. The other DIY store is closer, yes.

Wouldn't suggest using Home Depot again to install carpet .They covered up my cable wire big hump in carpet have called them so far no one has come out and fixed there mistake.Keep getting told they will be out to fix it Now they left message saying they will get back with me monday.That will be 6 days since they installed the carpet piss poor installment how do you cover up the cable wire and then just leave me with no cable.Think I should be compensated.

Lots of items to choose from for the home. Good prices I think and employees there to help with questions.

The store is good though lacking in organization. I enjoy the wide variety of products. The Ryobi tools are nice though not as durable as I'd like. It is irritating that bulk bins contain multiple items when marked as a single item. It is also nice that they rent tools if I ever need them.

I had a very helpful and knowledgeable gentleman help me find exactly what I needed to help securely mount things to some rather flimsy drywall.

Very well organized and clean! Bright and well stocked. Plenty of home improvement ideas and things to actually do the jobs! Paint-lumber-cabinets-cleaning products. Super close to the interstate and eateries. Gasoline close by. Plenty of parking. Great staff and accommodating!

Out of town from NiagaraFalls, NY and cant believe how the store looks, particularly the garden section. Employees on top of their game, friendly and will definitely be my go to store once we get moved here. Thanks!

For the quality and how much abuse they can take, some of the best tools and best prices I could have paid for them I got from this store. They're always having good deals and the place is cleaner and more shopable than their competitors. If you just bought a house or if you're fixing up a place for rent you'll want to practically live here.

They have issues with employees knowledge of products as well as the Cust Svc desk. They lack in product & credit card procedures.

I've dealt with home depot for 35 yrs throughout the country.
This store has a long line at the Cust help desk every time I have to go back. More than anyone I can remember.

It's a lack of training. And as one of the floor employees stated. They don't want to pay for prior experienced, hands on knowledge.

I went through to buy a calendar for my desktop yesterday and I was donating a dollar and I accidentally hit the button twice so I donated $2 and the store man felt bad so he gave me a $3 ink pen that was nice of him I like the ink pen

Had to return an item , and the customer service rep was awesome . Quickest return I ever had .
