Worked with Noah Lang from the start of this project. He was very helping in going back and forth with insurance company on the claim for a new roof due to hail and wind damage.
Also very patient and kept in touch over time as it took 9 months for my insurance company to finalize everything. He came out and tarped the roof when I lost shingles in a storm we wouldn’t have further damage. Highly recommend this company for any roof repairs and replacement.

Modern Roofing is a very professional company within Berkeley County WV. Trevor Presley Was very professional and explained everything about the process and why we should consider a new roof. We had extensive hail and wind damage that we were not aware of and he showed us exactly what the damage looked like and explained why this could cause a greater amount of damage if not replaced soon. I am grateful for his knowledge, and it was a pleasure to work with him and Modern Roofing.

Eli was absolutely wonderful to work with. Incredibly responsive to both our questions and needs, coming out multiple times in an attempt contain leaks while our insurance company ridiculously tucked their head between their legs and ignored our claim. Eli was able to get the ball rolling again after many mistakes made by our insurance company. We also appreciate Scott, who was very honest, upfront, and explained the entire process thoroughly. I am just starting the process but had to make a preliminary review! Noah came out and did the inspection, where he showed me detailed pictures and an in depth explanation of the process. He met with the insurance adjuster at my home, contacted my insurance company and made sure things were moving as planned. He also checked in every few days to make sure I was kept in the loop. Once that was done Scott met with me (after normal business hours!) to help me choose the right shingles and explained the charges/payments in depth. Then he went over the process and cleanup so I knew exactly what will transpire. If the workmanship is the same quality as the service so far, I have no doubt I will be highly satisfied. I contacted Caleb Foster about replacing our roof. He was very responsive in setting up an initial appointment. He helped me make the claim with our insurance company and explained every step of the process. He checked in with me while we waited for our insurance company to get back with me. He met with the adjuster and went over the condition of the roof. I had a meeting with Scott Krieger and he very clearly explained every step of the process, from shingle selection to gutters to pricing. Both gentlemen made me comfortable with the whole process. I am very pleased with our collaboration so far and I looking forward to the next phase of the project.

John Skuba is incredible! He is the person you want in charge. We knew nothing about filing a homeowners claim or roof replacements. This was my first homeowners claim l've filed, and I did not know what to expect. I certainly did not expect how difficult my insurance company was going to be. They initially denied me even after their inspector saw hail impacts on my shingles!! But John expertly navigated me throughout the entire process. After 5 months, John got it done. He displayed an extensive knowledge of both storm damages as well as roofing and construction. I appreciated his total transparency, clearly and concisely explaining each step of the process, keeping me fully informed the entire 5 months. I would recommend John to anyone who has storm damage!

We just signed on with Modern Roofing to replace a 20+ year old roof that suffered hail damage. From John who made the initial contact to Noah L. who did the preliminary inspection and started the process for the insurance claim, to Scott the designer who came out to show us all of the materials and choices and go over the process in detail, these guys know what they're doing and they leave nothing to chance. They care about their reputation and we're looking forward to having our approved insurance claim work completed by Modern as soon as possible.

We didn’t know anyone in the construction/roofing business, so we picked Modern Roofing from an internet search. We feel very fortunate for picking them because they have been fantastic. Elijah came the same day that we called, inspected the roof, and walked us through all the steps of replacing the roof, especially dealing with the insurance company. Scott came to us to discuss our options after getting the approval. His visit was informative and transparent so we knew exactly what was happening. Great experience.

We had a bad hail storm back in the Fall. I had several Roofing Contractors come to my house to give me a damage estimate. After entertaining them, I was very frustrated, as they did not listen to me and my concerns. Then Owen came out to look at the roof. He was extremely professional and very personable. He took the time and listened and advised me on what my situation was. He has been extremely attentive and responsive to all of my questions and even followed up while on vacation overseas. Because of this, I moved forward in the process with Modern Roof. Then they sent Scott to look at my house and provide me a cost estimate. We had a major hail storm and our roof was damaged. We weren't even aware there was a problem, but Modern Roofing did a free roof inspection and identified a lot problem spots. Noah Vittitow did an exceptional job documenting everything. He took photos of everything and explained the problems. We were skeptical at first, but they handled all of the communications with our insurance company and met the insurance adjuster on-site to review the problems they found. We felt better about the process when USAA told us they were very familiar with Modern Roofing and they worked with Noah a lot. They ended up covering the entire new roof based on Noah's findings. In fact, Modern Roofing went back to USAA and added several items that USAA missed that were required by code, getting the entire job covered start to finish.

After the claim was approved, we met with Scott Krieger. He went over all of the design options and thoroughly explained the install process and every item used in the job. He presented options for color, quality and durability. There was no high-pressure sales, just information and slate of options. We left the meeting 100% at ease with the process and the choices. Overall, the entire process has been VERY easy. There was almost no interaction with the insurance company and zero hassle of any kind. I couldn't recommend them enough. If you even think you have wind or hail damage, give them a call and get an inspection.

Modern Roofing did a great job replacing our hail damaged 20 year old roof. It was all done in one day including very thorough cleaning up afterwards. They even sent us some beautiful drone photos of the finished result.

Modern Roofing was excellent to work with from beginning to end. Zach was our primary contact and he worked with our insurance to make sure they had all the information needed for them to provide payment for our new roof. Ken came out to go over all the details and provided many options for the new roof. Once we were ready for installation Alfredo and his crew came out. They were efficient and professional! They covered all our areas with tarps and provided a dumpster for the old shingles. They removed and installed the new roof in one day and when it was complete they made sure to clean up the entire area before leaving. This was a stress free transaction and would recommend Modern Roofing to anyone!

Modern Roofing, LLC was great from start to finish & installing a beautiful new roof on my house. My salesman Zach was awesome. He helped me submit the insurance claim, answer all of my questions promptly, helped me appeal & get my entire roof replacement paid for by the insurance company for hail & wind damage. Zach kept me well informed on everything going on through the whole process & was present to make sure the roof installation went good. Kenzig helped me out with selecting the shingles & everything else that goes with it. He gave very good descriptions of everything & answered all the questions that I had. This made the selection process of the shingles very easy for me. On installation day, Zach showed up early & introduced me to my project manager James who over saw a crew of ten that stripped off the old roof, replaced a couple plywood sheets, installed the new roof & cleaned up in around 8 hours. These folks are experts at what they do. From the initial consultation, to the negotiations with our insurance carrier, to the right product recommendations, to the installation....all we're top-notch. Their team is very knowledgeable and great to work with. The upgrades were explained in detail, along with a recommendation as to why they should be considered, and in some instances, why they weren't a good idea or value-add for our roof. Absolutely the best roofing company we have ever dealt with. After a hail storm went through, they offered to check our roof for damage. They coordinated with the insurance company; kept us updated with the process; met every commitment they promised and went above and beyond expectation the day they installed the new roof. They covered the surrounding area with a tarp as well as swept the area with a magnetic tool to pick up any wayward nails. Our roof is a large hip roof with many valleys! Check out the photos!

The men were here at the crack of dawn and worked together as a team. They removed 3 layers of shingles and replaced all rotten boards underneath and removed all trash. I highly recommend this company.
