The overall sentiment regarding Safelite is overwhelmingly positive, with customers praising the efficiency and quality of service. The technicians are often described as friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail. However, there are notable concerns related to pricing transparency and the handling of certain customer interactions, resulting in a few negative experiences. Despite these issues, the majority of customers express high satisfaction with both the service provided and the professionalism of the staff.

- The technicians were very professional and did an amazing job.
- I was informed that he needed to collect the full amount prior to starting and I wasn't comfortable with that.
- I go online get a quote for my windshield and then it drastically increased when I arrived for the appointment.
- They can't even give me a straight answer about the recalibration process.

They came to my home bright and early and were done very quickly with a great attitude. I didnt know you could replace the entire windshield that quickly. Very impressed.

This was the most seemless experience ever. I had a 9:00 AM appointment. Safelite sent me a text verifying my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes late and a nice young lady met me with a great attitude. I was informed that it would be 2-3 hours for the install and recalibration. I received a text at 10:20 letting me know that it was finished. Ahead of schedule!! When I arrived back there was a nice brochure with a business card stapled with great instructions. They even took my oil change sticker from my broken windshield and with great care attached it to my new windshield. A little thing but quite attention to detail. This is a great business with great employees

One star might be too much considering the outcome, this review is to let the business owners know one reason the revenue isn't an accurate reflection of the amount of wages paid. Your management telling people I don't care if you don't like it there's nothing I can do about it take it or leave. This was after the call they made to me with my adjusted price an increase of $43 which despite being unhappy about the situation I kept the appointment and the installer informed me that he needed to collect the full amount prior to starting and I wasn't Comfortable with that so I told him I would give half down then he said it's company policy and I said why didn't they tell me this in the beginning that way I could have used a card, and I said so it's company policy? He said we'll it's my policy, and I said your policy huh? And he said yeah my policy with certain customers! I said wait what? Exactly what KIND of customers please be certain. Obviously after his racist discrimination I told him to leave because he was too comfortable talking that way, but like the manager he doesn't care either because he's going to be paid whether or not he makes the sale and completes the install. If I owned that store I would eliminate the managers position and I would put the racist installer in a position more suitable for the likelihood that he will increase the customer base so a broom dust pan and mop bucket. He should not be around certain people, you will need to ask him what kind as he didn't use a specific slur. He just applied his cash up front policy to me because I'm apparently the stereotype it applies to. Needless to say that struck a nerve and now when I hear safelite I'm going to remember a racist remark from one of their deadbeat employees who doesn't care at all because he's going to get his piece of the pie even though he's the reason they are one pie short today for me it's an inconvenience but the real loser is safelite because they provided everything they take all the risk only to have employees and managers who are actually costing them money. So I'm not closing the door on safelite it's just the Yakima store.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
