Chance, Eric and Tristan installed a new HVAC system in our house and did an excellent job. They were all 3 very professional, neat, quiet, respectful and knowledgeable. The crew arrive early and got right to work. Chance listened to my questions and concerns and honored them with thorough explanations. Chance went over the workings of the thermostat in detail with me and asked if I had any additional questions. He explained the few modifications they made between the old system and the new one. I am more than pleased with their installation. Now, we are hopeful to continue to have them keep the system operating efficiently for years.

Braydon was the best! So knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. We asked a lot of questions, and he took his time to answer each and every one. We will definitely be using Americool again!

This is hands down one of the most honest companies around. I called last week to setup an appointment to have our A/C diagnosed because it would not blow cold air. It was very weak. I called and they were able to work me in within a week. I think that's amazing for calling in before a holiday weekend (4th of July) and for the amount of services they must be inundated with because of the heat. The young gal (Tamara?) on the phone told me to find my return filter and see if it was clogged up. If so, its a simple replacement that I could do by buying the filter from Home Depot. Well I finally checked it on Saturday evening, and sure enough, that thing was FILTHY!!! I went to HD and picked up a 3 pack and swapped out the old filter in all of 30 minutes. She saved me money and my marriage, because my wife was going to kill me because of the heat .
The fact that this young lady gave me the necessary information to trouble shoot it myslef, instead of taking my money for a service call is amazing. I believe that this type of instruction is taught from higher ups. It's taught because that is what kind of values AMERICOOL has. The owners instill these values in their team, which then serves the community. This is the type of service America needs. Not greedy companies nickling and diming it's customers.

Our new HVAC was installed today. Brandon and Bradley did an awesome job. Very clean install. Brandon adjusted the louvers on our recirculation grill to quiet the extra noise due to the new more powerful blower. Very pleased. Charles was our service tech that diagnosed our locked compressor on the old unit. He was a total pro. And Chris nailed down the exact replacement heat pump and furnace for our house and budget. Total pros. I couldn't be more pleased with your company. I will recommend Americool to anyone that needs service or a new HVAC unit installed.

Home was not heating and cooling properly. Tech came out and explained everything to me and also took the time to setup my thermostat. Discovered that the unit was not powered properly on the outside. Home cooled down 7 degrees in a matter of 10 minutes! Highly recommend this company!

Back in 2017, Americool came out and uninstalled my old furnace (which was on its last leg) and installed my new furnace and heat pump. I have to say that in every aspect of the process, I have been thoroughly impressed (not just by their professionalism and knowledge) but their genuine care they have for the needs of their customers! Their sales representative came out to our house personally and took as much time as was needed to explain what equipment it would take to properly heat and cool our home. After settling on the right equipment, they set up a time to come and install the new furnace and heat pump. Their team was very professional and conscientious of the work they were performing in our home, and even though, initially after the installation, there was an issue, Americool came out and quickly corrected it to our complete satisfaction! They have also been out to service our equipment in the years since, and they still have that same dedication to customer service! Their service personnel are very knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions or concerns that we may have, and they are not overly priced (having spoken to friends about other companies and what they charge for services). Back in January, our heat pump suddenly stopped working, so, of course, we called Americool to come and troubleshoot our system to find out why. A service technician was sent out and quickly found that we had a coolant leak at our heat pump. After making the repair, we were pleasantly surprised that our 10-year warranty was honored. Unfortunately, within about a month's time, the heat pump was down again, so we called Americool to come out to troubleshoot. It was found that the part that was replaced went bad (no one's fault) and ultimately, Americool decided not to bill us for the second repair, even though I was fully willing to at least pay for the coolant, which is the most expensive line item on the bill! I would definitely recommend Americool for all of your heating and cooling needs! They also service equipment installed by other companies, and in my opinion, at much better rates! Our heat pump has dramatically improved the quality of life in our home, especially in the hot summer months!

Americool did the rough-in on our new build in November 2022 and final install of the outdoor unit in July 2023. Our building plans called for an 11HSPF unit exhausting upwards approximately 10’ from our front door and called on the HVAC contractor to verify the install location. One month before Americool was hired, in October 2022, we installed front landscaping to include a fir tree, cranberries, and winter jasmine – all cold hardy down to negative 40F. Unbeknown to us beforehand, in July 2023 Americool installed a side-exhausting unit blowing directly onto our front cement porch and paver walkway. Construction was still ongoing in the first winter, 2023-4, but the unit was used to heat the home to 50F to avoid burst pipes. The exhaust from the outdoor unit caused the front porch and walkway to coat over in ice even though air temps were well above freezing – the continuous sub-freezing exhaust from the unit formed a significant ice layer. The constant exhaust also desiccated our plants.

Per the Mitsubishi installation manual, a fence could be built up to 20” in front, 4” to the left, and 14” to the right of the unit. We called Mitsubishi to confirm those dimensions, they did, and we built a fence 30” in front of the unit, at a diagonal to redirect the exhaust away from the front porch. The fence was only 4’ high so the redirected exhaust could swirl around the side of the house and then exit above the fence without icing over the porch. That worked. We moved into the home the following spring. The next winter, while heating the home to 68F, the exhaust caused a layer of ice to build up on the siding 10’ tall, and the freezing condensate dripping around the unit built up a layer of ice which eventually tipped the unit. Americool stated it was out of warranty and would not fix the issue without charging for it. We worked with a competitor of theirs to devise a fix which we implemented ourselves – installing a wind baffle on the unit, gapping the fence slats for better air flow, installing a pan underneath the unit to catch the condensate, piping the drainage from that pan underground to connect with our storm drain system, then installing an outlet and heating rod to keep the condensate liquid long enough to drain away – all on a new build. The competitor pointed out that the Mitsubishi installation manual clearly states not to direct the exhaust at plants or people and to be mindful during placement so as not to create an icing hazard on nearby walkways.

Americool should have identified and disclosed that the placement of the outdoor unit would not work in the location called for in the plans DURING THE ROUGH IN PHASE so the outdoor unit could be placed in a nearby alternative location – many were available at approximately the same distance from the indoor unit. We believe Americool either only opted for a side-exhaust unit at the time of the July installation or failed to recognize the consequences of that placement until install – and then just didn’t care and proceeded anyway. In a BBB review, Americool blamed us as the homeowners for the placement and criticized our decision to landscape the front of the home (how audacious of us!).

They distorted the timeline of events and even claimed we had planted fragile plants – all of which was meant to distract from their main failure: failure to recognize what any HVAC installer should have noticed immediately. That exhausting the side unit onto a concrete porch would inevitably lead to icing issues. Afterall, it’s right in the installation manual, which we doubt they read.

We strongly urge people to reconsider hiring this contractor, not only due to their making such an obvious error but also due to their refusal to accept responsibility for it.

I can't say enough about this company and it's employees. We had a unit installed last spring, just to find out it, after the fact, the reputable company we thought that we would be working with was a spin off of the original one we called. Needless to say in January it quit working, no heat, air nothing. I asked around to my freinds and family and they said to call Americool, thank goodness we did! They were out within a few days and found the issues. Major parts needed to be replaced because first installer never installed a surge protector, we thought he had or the vibration pads. It always sounded like a jet taking off or landing! Now it's so quiet you don't know it's on!! I am home do to a disability, and hated the noise but loved the heat and air. We will never go any where else, and now are planning on them installing one in our bedroom. Give them a call, we got our bid, very first day and after it taking a couple times of them coming out to fix it, we paid exactly what the bid was! Not a penny more. Americool and their installers we can't thank you enough and will have our business for as long as we live here!!

This Americool Heating and Air Conditioning Company here in Centralia, WA has got to be the worst. Supposedly Patrick, the repair person does not know his job. We have been without heat for over 2 weeks and now he installs a new factory fan in the furnance and it goes out 2 days later. He just left us with no paperwork, and said he would refer it to a electrician at his company but we had heat for now. Well the heat lasted 2 days and quit again tonight at 12 Midnight. What kind of crap is that?

We have a 2 story home and went with Americool who said “we can go from 2 furnaces to 1 and it will be great”. It’s not great, huge temp differences between the floors and not sure how AC is going to work during the summer. The fix is cost prohibitive and now we are stuck.

I was referred by Taylor for a ductless heat pump. I'm very thankful! The entire experience was professional and thorough. Everyone took time to ensure the job was well done and they made sure to pay attention to detail. Definitely recommended!

I had a great experience with Trevor today, who first helped me over the phone with trying to troubleshoot my furnace issues since we couldn't get a tech out right away. When we couldn't resolve the issue over the phone, he got approval to come out since we didn't have any heat. Once he was out he got everything fixed up in short order. I feel like he went the extra mile. He was very professional and efficient, and before I knew it my furnace was back up and running! I've had nothing but great experiences with Americool. They installed our A/C last year and it has been working great, I've always had great experiences with them. Their customer service is top notch, and I love that a real person picks up the phone every time. I would highly recommend them.

Dave and Ted arrived on time to replace the electrical panel in our house. My grandparents have been complaining of uncomfortably warm temperatures in their house as of recent. A few weeks ago I spoke to Mark, who lives right next door and we got a great quote. After speaking to Mark who educated us on the AC system and showed us how it work, my grandparents wanted to move forward with the process.

The following week we got a call from Alyssa who set an appointment for a few weeks out.

On the day of installation, Josh, Nick, and John came out to begin installation of the AC and water tank. They were extremely efficient in completing the tasks. My grandma said she felt very confident that they were doing an outstanding job.

When I arrived at the house towards the end of the day, I was greeted by Josh and John. Josh informed me that they were almost complete and were wrapping up final tests and cleanup. About 20 minutes later, Josh showed me how to work the thermostat and educated us on the settings.

The thermostat was very simple, easy to use, and my grandma was able to learn how to operate the thermostat very quickly.

Mark also stopped by to make sure we were fully satisfied and happy with the AC system which we greatly appreciated.

Overall we were very satisfied and content with the business we did with Americool. Mark made the paperwork process very simple and easy to understand. Josh, John, and Nick were all very respectful and had very positive energy when I spoke with them. We would absolutely recommend Americool to friends and family.

Hate to write this review as I worked with them in the past and it was a 5 star experience from start to finish. Not sure what happened this time, the quoting process alone took almost 4 weeks with two onsite visits. The Tech that came out on the second visit, wasn't really sure why a follow up was needed but was super nice.

The work consisted of a small amount of replacement ducting to reconnect to my system on new construction (less then 10ft) and a cassette unit. During those 4 weeks I had to call the office multiple times for updates and every time, it was like my file didn't exist or wasn't imputed. When I did finally get the quote they, quoted a different system altogether then what we had discussed, we requested a Cassette unit and they priced out a Slim Duck Air Unit. It also came in 30% higher then everyone else and the sales rep told me the unit I wanted would be even more expensive.

They basically told me to go with my other guy, when I started asking questions. Super disappointed.

Updated from 1 to 3 star since the owner did reach out and try to make things right.

Previously I had been told I needed to replace my furnace because it had quit during the night. I contacted AMERICOOL for a second opinion. They had a technician come out and check the furnace. The tech found that that a part just needed to be cleaned, instead of replacing the furnace. AMERICOOL technician was prompt, very knowledgeable and courteous. AMERICOOL prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend AMERICOOL for any furnace or air conditioning services.

The tech they sent to replace my furnace was so bad that he took an entire day to do the job and he did a poor job. The air filter ended up slanted inside the furnace because he didn’t build the ledges holding it correctly. The dimensions were wrong too which left a gap for unfiltered airflow. I wanted to give it a one star review but because the company did try to fix it afterwards I gave it a two star. Still, it remains a problem today. Their techs are not trained to completely redo a furnace replacement properly.

I just had a great experience working with Americool on a furnace replacement and heat pump installation. Their bid was very competitive and their installers (Brandon and team) were professional and courteous. The thing that really sold me was when the install was done Brandon said that the heat pump fan was too noisy. (I honestly did not know how much noise was to be expected). He arranged for another tech to come check it out. When that tech was unsuccessful, he ordered a new fan and another tech came out to install that. I was impressed with the crew every step of the way. I rarely leave positive or negative reviews, only when the interaction was exceptional one way or another.

Sent a salesman instead of a tech, i told them i needed my system evaluated after a house fire, the salesman said oh that's a job for a tech. Then they didnt even have brochures or anything on new system option for a construction build. They get three stars because they installed our original system and that has been great

I was told it would take a week to fix our heating. 2 weeks in we called and we're told they couldn't find the part they ordered. 1 week later they still did not contact us. 3rd call in and they sent someone. Took almost a month to fix and we had no heat or air during that time. Super unorganized. But my heating bill dropped almost $100 for that month. We will not be calling them again for help.

In June of 2022 I called Americool after our air conditioner stopped working. A few days prior to the appointment I called them back because I now knew our units motor was basically fried so please don't send a tech to fix instead I need a sales person because I am looking to replace. They assured me the same person scheduled could provide me with options & prices for new unit. He arrived I explained I only need pricing options for replacing. He looked at unit for a few moments and said your right it needs replacing & advised me he would be emailing the pricing information. After I received the email I called to see when quickest date for installation could take place. I was advised end of August at which time I explained I just couldn't wait that long because I have Frenchies and cannot take a chance on heat and them overheating so was going with another company that could get the work done the quickest. Soon after I received a bill in the mails
from Americool for Diagnosing my unit!!! I called explained I had phoned in not needing diagnosing just a free estimate for replacing. She (in billing) said she would discuss with tech. I never received another bill until May 1st 2023, 9 months after I had phoned in. I called immediately again explaining same situation to same billing lady this time she was very rude & condescending. So all & all I am being charged for diagnosing when in fact they were to only come and provide me with a free replacement estimate.

We moved into our house back in December and had to get a new heat pump and furnace. Josh who did the installation was great, and Matt who came to do the cleaning after the remodel was amazing! They were both very nice and professional, Americool is very lucky to have employees like them. They are the reason I am leaving a 5 star review. Their salesmen Patrick is a completely different matter...he leaves a lot to be desired. He upsold us on a more expensive unit and then told us after the installation that our ducting was too small for that unit. At that point the ceiling was completely open and he had seen our ducting so I don't appreciate that he did not do his job by measuring and making sure the unit would work. Patrick gets 0 of the stars for this review. He left a sour taste in our mouths and would not own up to his mistakes like a man when it was brought to his attention. I would recommend this company only because of Josh and Matt. I can only hope that if there is a commission for this sale it be taken from Patrick and given to Matt and Josh. Good work should be rewarded.

They came out to give a second opinion, were able to fix this issue and do it for $2000 less than what Goettl quoted! Would 100% recommend them over any big name company you hear on the radio!

We built a brand new house less than 2 years ago. Had nothing but problems with the system keeping the house warm during winter and cool during summer. Contractor who built the house was no help, contractor that installed the under sized system was no help. Called americool and they verified the system was not big enough for my house. They replaced system with the correct size, quickly, and very cost effective. Now we are finally comfortable in our home. I will only use americool for all my heating/cooling needs in the future. I highly recommend them.

In August our old heat pump stopped working on the hottest day of the year. We called Americool and they sent someone out after hours to fix it the same day. Shortly after that, we decided that it was time to replace it because it was very old and unreliable. We called them to get an estimate, which turned out to be reasonable and much lower than an estimate we had received elsewhere. We went ahead and scheduled service. They came out on the scheduled day to install the air handler and heat pump. Took about 7-8 hours. The installers were courteous, friendly, and professional. When I called after installation with questions, they were very responsive. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Americool.

We had Americool replace our heat pump last week. They came in with the lowest bid, but also were the best at explaining and communicating what needed done. They came when they said they would, did what they said they'd do, and charged the price they said they'd charge. The techs were professional in appearance and in their communications. And the best part is our house is COOL! It's very rare in this day and age to find a company that truly takes pride in what they do. Americool does, and it shows. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs!

The Americool Team has been superb from start to finish when it came to providing / installing our Air Conditioning system. From the beginning, we had Mark C. come out for a sales assessment. He was extremely professional, engaging, and transparent / honest - he gave me piece of mind that what we purchased was the right fit for our home, not just to buy the biggest / best for the sake of it and sell us something we didnt need.

Come install date, the team: Josh D., Jeremy, and Ted were beyond excellent, professional, and courteous. These guys were respectful to our household, had great follow through, great to communicate with, and installed everything nice & neat. I can't say enough good things about both Josh, Jeremy, and Jake at Americool. Josh gave us the "A-list" treatment from day one, in both his prompt response time and attention to details. We were looking to replace our aging heat pump and air handler, and being first time home owners we didn't want to risk our hard earned financial equity. Josh made sure all of our questions were answered and that we were 100% certain on our new HVAC system prior to purchase/install.

On the day of install, the guys showed up early and got the job done promptly. They were very respectful of our home and pets, and made sure not to disrupt our daily routine too much. Jeremy did lots of the hard labor, and he stuck with the project through the very end. Everything went smooth as silk. Josh remained available after the install to answer any set up concerns with our new thermostat technology, and that kind of customer serve cannot be beat. Jake came the next day for our duct cleaning, and was a total sweetheart on top of remaining a courteous professional.

100% recommend this company! 10 stars. Out of the three bids, Americool was the least expensive and able to accommodate our needs. We required ductless installed in our split level and for our separate studio office. They installed a ducted ductless in the attic(to heat/cool 5 upstairs bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), a mini split downstairs, mini split in main room and a mini split in the studio. They routed all lines under our deck and mounted the compressor on a 2nd story exterior wall to keep the clutter down. The 2 other bids said they would be unable to do that...and wanted more money. All of the HVAC installers were fantastic. Daniel, Brad, Jared and Ted the electrician did outstanding work. They were very personable, professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about the installers. Brad came back to do some wrap up today and spent a lot of time making sure we were happy. His OCD on the details was on point. He adjusted the airflow to each room to perfection on the ducted ductless. Americool Management, take care of these guys, you have the BEST crew.

Our dryer vent was leaving a nasty residue on the outside of our house. Matthew came out and not only found an economical solution, but proceeded to clean our siding, and even washed a nearby window. Way beyond the call of duty and we'll be using Americool again, and ask for Matthew.

Americool is our go to for heat and air conditioning for our rentals as well as our own home. Most recently Josh and John installed a ductless heat pump for us and they were professional, friendly, and did a great job. We highly recommend them.

I researched HVAC installations in my area in the greater west side of Washington. My residence was built in the early 1970's and had many challenges due to structural issues. We had baseboard heating with no AC. I came to the conclusion that Americool was my best solution. I met with Josh Depoe and Chance Galloway and they gave many options for our home. It was a pleasure doing business with Americool from Patrick the salesman who sold me on the system to Brandon W. and Ted Z. that came to do the installation Along with John D. who did the electrical work. They showed up and explained how they were going to do the installation and were considerate of the location and what I thought. They did most of the inside work then went out and did the outside work made a few final trips back in to make the final connections took their shoes off and cleaned up any messes. The system works great.

Had Americool replace my furnace and install a heat pump. Both Josh and Chance did an excellent job and answered all the questions I had about installation and operation. Would definitely hire them again if needed.
