Customer feedback reveals a mixed sentiment regarding Pride Construction's services. While several clients praised the quality of work, creativity, and commitment to project completion, there are significant concerns about unfinished jobs and communication issues. One customer expressed frustration over incomplete work and unmet promises, particularly regarding final inspections and payments. Delivery service and communication were highlighted as areas needing improvement, especially in situations where clients felt rushed or neglected. Overall, while there are strong positive experiences, the serious complaints indicate a need for caution.
- Alex and his team did a great, quality job.
- Alex provides great service and a creative out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving.
- Pride Construction did an excellent job on multiple projects I've hired them for.
- The project turned out great and Alex is highly recommended!
- The job was clearly incomplete and poorly done, and the final walkthrough never happened.
- Alex required final payment even though several items were still unfinished.
- There are significant concerns about communication, particularly regarding unmet promises.

We hired Alex / Pride Construction in April 2024. He began work until June 2024, and then rushed to get it “finished” on Christmas Eve, just hours before we were hosting a large family gathering. The job was clearly incomplete and poorly done, but at the time, Alex promised to repaint the cabinets, reset a window he admitted was improperly installed, and then conduct a final walkthrough. That walkthrough never happened.
In mid-December, Alex required final payment even though several items were still unfinished. We paid him in full, trusting that he would return to complete the job as promised. From January through April, my husband called him every single week. Every time, Alex promised to come on a certain day, but in four months, he only showed up twice, once to make a list of the unfinished tasks, and once to complete just one item from that list. After receiving no response from him at the end of April, we gave him a final deadline of June 1. Since then he has not responded to our calls and he never came back.
Worse still, some of the work is unsafe. There is an unfinished electrical outlet directly behind our gas stove, which our licensed electrician confirmed is a fire hazard and code violation. On top of that, the tile work was sloppy with jagged grout lines, and the cabinet paint job was left incomplete. These are just a few of the many quality issues we’ve had to document.
We were extremely patient for several months and gave Alex every opportunity to make it right. But with all the broken promises, poor communication, safety concerns, and substandard workmanship even after being paid in full we cannot recommend Pride Construction.

Alex and his team did a great, quality job. They assisted with design ideas, colors, and material selection. The job took a bit longer than expected but, at the time, there was a wait for cabinets and quartz. We redid the entire kitchen minus floors, moved appliance locations and reran water and added a gas stove. Very happy.

Alex and his team showed every time they said they would. Even when it was not convenient! Alex stuck by my difficult project and saw it through to completion with awesome results. I work with contractors, and very few have the dedication Alex and his team do. Project turned out great and Alex is a high recommend! Thanks

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
