I can't remember our technicians name but he did such a fantastic job we give him 5+ stars!!! It's like driving a brand new car with windshield was so clean and perfect!!!

Such an easy and convenient experience. Thank you for making this so simple and taking such great care of us.

The windshield was replaced within 2 hours, but we didn't get the text notification until we had already picked up the car & were almost home (an hour away) & luckily we just stopped in to see if it was done. Otherwise it was easy & convenient.

I have been trying to contact the Manhattan office since March! I can never get through to talk to a human. I had my windshield replaced last year and it leaks horribly. Water runs down on the inside of the windshield into my van! Why the hell isn’t a human able to answer a phone!

Thank you for a response. But I don't need a no-cost follow up, I need the leak fixed and that requires talking to a human, not some BOT. Seriously, this is the worst customer service I've ever encountered. You have beaten Cox Communications for being the most anti-customer business I've ever dealt with, and that says a lot!

The tech came and got the job done quickly and effectively. 5 stars because he transfered both my K-Tag and my Kansas Parks pass to the new windshield which was huge bonus and saved me from a lot of hassle.

Outstanding Service from Safelite AutoGlass!

Once again, Safelite AutoGlass exceeded our expectations! About a year ago, they expertly replaced the windshield on our 2016 F150, and we were thoroughly impressed with the technician’s knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail.

This past Monday, they returned to work on our 1999 F250, and the technician they sent was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all our questions, all while working quickly and meticulously.

We truly appreciate their consistent quality and top-notch customer care. I wholeheartedly recommend Safelite AutoGlass to anyone in need of auto glass services — we’ll definitely be calling them again in the future!

1 start review for the lady at the front desk was yelling with the person on the phone, seem to irritated to be asked any questions at all and being snarky with anyone that came in. The gentleman that helped me with my car would be 5 stars compared to the lady.

Got a new windshield installed on my car by this location and Jaylen forgot to replace the nut holding the wiper arm to the motor. Not knowing this I turned the wipers on and they got all tangled and it stripped the post on the motor. Brought it to the location (because there is no way to call them and talk to a human, they actually have a system that hangs up on you if you refuse the automated system) and the guy there was shocked, very friendly and after trying to fix it with what he had, said he'd have his manager order a new wiper motor and arm to replace the damaged stuff. A 2-3 weeks go by and someone calls me to say the parts should be in the following week. It's been two weeks now and still no call about scheduling the repair. The folks are all real nice, but no one seems to know what is going on and my car is still broken. I'm about to file a claim in smalls claims court to resolve this if it's not fixed this week.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The pictures speak for themselves.

It took 4 panes of glass to get an acceptable piece. Every piece of glass had horrible distortions in it. I've been extremely patient through the process of getting a decent piece of glass. I understand that they are at the mercy of their glass supplier. However, on the 4th replacement, the tech was visibly agitated about having to replace the glass again.

The 4th replacement took only 21 minutes from pulling the car into the shop to pulling the car out of the shop. This is not enough time to do a quality job regardless of experience.

On this 4th replacement, the tech used a metal scraper when removing the old window seal. He destroyed the paint around the window with the scraper. He even used the scraper on the 3rd brake light damaging it as well. Window sealant is also all over the backside of the headliner.

When I confronted the tech, he denied even the possibility that it could have been him. I involved the manager, but she only accused me of trying to get a free paint job (this was never even suggested by me; I was only pointing out the damage done by her tech).

When I complained to their corporate office, the shop in Manhattan claimed it was pre-existing damage. Pre-existing damage doesn't leave fresh paint shavings and raised paint around the scratches around the new window.

Protect your vehicle. Don't go here.

*Update 4/29/2025 - it has been 2 weeks since it was "forwarded to the field team." No one has contacted me.

The first placement of glass shifted. They insisted we bring it back and have it fixed. They were extended happy to fix it at no cost to us.

The on-line form to identify the windshield needed was easy to fill out. Once completed, the technician was in my driveway in 2 days and completed the work in 30 minutes. The experience was excellent from start to finish!

We have utilized Safelite on at least three occasions and have always been offered superior service. Every step was handled professionally. You can't tell whether the issue solved was an original factory install or a repair. Frankly I would rate Safelite credibility above the factory. Bravo! We will continue to request Safelite for future repairs.

The service was great from start to finish. They saw me very quickly initially and scheduled an appointment readily. The tech saw a crack I had not seen and changed what needed to be done but we were so lucky he found the crack. The estimate given was exactly what we were told. Everything just went very well and has since being fixed also. I would refer them to anyone. Lucky we found them right here in Manhattan.

Scheduled my car for a drop off to get my windshield replaced, got a call two hours after dropping off to say it was done which was not expected. Am very happy with the work they did and their staff is friendly. I will definitely use them in the future if needed!

Had my technician come out when my email said they would. Got here super fast and was extremely nice. Talked me through exactly what he was going to do and gave me an estimate time it would take. Even gave me some advice on some other problems with my vehicle. Proceeded to finish the job extremely quickly but extremely well. Left me with a beautiful new windshield and had it done by himself in under 2 hours. Barely took one hour. Just overall great experience with the come to you service they have. Definitely going to use them again for any future services needed.

My window was put it right at my job while I worked! He was quick and it looks great! They did an awesome job!!! Highly recommend

We had a very smooth and quick experience here. Everyone was very helpful and communicative, and we even paid less than we expected to based on other quotes.

Kavan with Safelite here in Manhattan is 'TOP SHELF',he called to let me know when he would arrive at my home, explained the process, very polite, actually completed the repair quicker than he pledged. I believe I have had 4 to 5 repairs done by Safelite over the years. They have earned my business for more years to come.

An awesome place! They went above and beyond what I needed done and got my car in tip-top shape (in less than an hour too!). I'd absolutely return again and I'd recommend this place to anyone needing glasswork done.

Do not go here!! It’s a scam. Took it in to get a very small chip fixed. Next thing I know they are telling me the entire windshield needs to be replaced because the chip became a huge crack while fixing it. What was supposed to be a simple, easy and inexpensive job turned into one that is now time consuming and thousands of dollars

While scheduling was quick and easy with insurance, this was a horrible company to choose for windshield replacement. I got my windshield replaced 4/29 after hail damage from a bad storm so there were two large cracks across my windshield.

First, I found out that now my rain sensors and windshield wipers no longer work following the replacement unless I click them on and off each individual time my windshield needs to be cleared which is annoying particularly during spring storms… there’s no more timed/automatic wipes.

Secondly, I don’t think it was sealed correctly. There is wind and water that now come through my windshield which could definitely cause bigger problems down the road. At this point having a cracked windshield would be better because at least it still did its job.

I followed all the instructions, still haven’t gone through a car wash, didn’t even drive my car for a full 24 hours following the replacement just to make sure nothing would get messed up in the process, and I’ve reached out to customer service with no response back. It’s just incredibly frustrating and if you read this, you’re better off going to a different local shop to have your windshield replaced.

**EDIT as of 11/23/24** Windshield wipers are STILL inoperable even after they “fixed” it again… if you have automatic wiper sensors DO NOT go here… started with two stars had to knock it down to one because this is actually insane. I’m going to bite the bullet and just take my car in to another shop to have them correctly fix it and pay for it myself because I refuse to waste more time with Safelite.

Safelight helped me after 5pm and ordered my windshield after it shattered! I’m very thankful for their timeliness and being so helpful!

The staff at this store are great! They took care of my vehicle in record time.

I would have rated 5 stars but finding the local phone number for this store was a PITA. I prefer to talk to a live person when scheduling appointments, not a robot. The number listed for the store on Google feeds into a robocall intercept system and tries to force you to use a website or an app to schedule. Very frustrating.

Dropped my car off , came back in about an hour and was done with the new windshield. They did a great job!

GO HERE TO FIX/REPLACE WINDSHIELDS
Got my back windshield replaced after being broken. Alexander was very professional and kind. Was in and out in 40 minutes. Great value for the service they do.

They did a good job but watch out, you got to check if they put the original trim clips in. My trim was real lose, inspected and found out not original clips. I would of spent more money on gas just to have them replace so check before you leave.

Have been there 4 times with 4 different vehicles and each time they were very friendly and professional. Dropped my truck off several hours early yesterday and they got it right in and repaired the crack for less than the estimate!

I was quoted $900 to have my windshield replaced at the dealership, and Safelite did it for $400 less! I don’t even have an EyeSight system to calibrate so I’m not sure where Subaru got that figure, but I’m SO thankful for Safelite saving me some major money. My car was in and out in less than an hour, everyone was super friendly, and they were even able to salvage my state parks sticker and K-Tag so I didn’t have to go to the trouble of replacing those. Hopefully I never have to replace my windshield again, but if I do I’ll definitely return to Safelite!

I was an avid safelite customer for a very long time, but after today I will never buy a windshield from safelite again. I drive an older Chevy truck.(buy choice) I try to get a quote several days ago on line. Plugged in all my info vehicle extra. Got a massage saying someone would contact me. I never got a call.
Fast forward to today. I called in to talk to someone about getting a windshield put in my truck.The Ai answered the phone with limited options for communication. It directed me to the website, and offered to send me a link in text. There was no option to speak with a live person. It only wanted to send me to the website so I could text with the chat bot.
In my opinion if they don’t have anyone to answer the phone, or willing to take the time to do so that way a person can actually look up the part, and sell me a windshield, then I am done with safelite.I called another company local to where I live. A live person answer the phone. I got my quote in minutes, and an appointment scheduled for in the morning. Yes I am paying more for it, but it’s worth it for actual customer service. Not a bot.

Had any appt at 1 pm. It was easy to get scheduled online. Safelite took care of everything. I just gave them my ins information and member number. Got email a claim had been filed for my windshield. Everything was taken care of and they had the exact amt I was going to pay before I even showed up. They texted me reminders about my appt as well as throughout the process. I opted to go into the store. I showed up a little early for my appt and was able to get right in. I was told it would take about an hour and it took a little short of that. Super clean, professional environment. They also had the correct windshield and it was a perfect fit! Coming from working in the body shop industry, this was impressive to me. Windshield was clean and looked great! Will definitely be bringing my 4 Runner in next!

Kavan the mobile tech does amazing work. He communicated his timing, was very professional and completed and entire windshield replacement in less than 45 minutes! Unfortunately I have had to use this service multiple times and every time Safelite, in Manhattan mobile service knocks it out of the park with professionalism and quality.

Not sure why I even have expectations of professionalism these days. Safelite Manhattan was supposed to replace the rear window in my daughters car. Her back window was damaged and needed to be replaced. Filed the insurance claim, my daughter went and had the work done. Didn't think anything more of it until I drove the car home last night. The glare from the 3rd brake light was horrendous. Taping my brakes completely washed out any visibility through the back window. Got it home and inspected the 3rd brake light only to find it wasn't installed, it was just hanging on the window clips. Then I cut my hand on the glass left in the backseat and rear window shelf. Apparently Safelite didn't even do a passing vacuum job to clean up the broken glass. Installing a 3rd brake light isn't an easy proposition, but I figured out how it was supposed to be fitted and did the job myself. Cleaned up the broken glass myself, then cleaned my blood off the rear window, at which point I found that there was glue residue from the tape they used all around the window on the exterior. Had to use WD-40 to scrub it off. Absolute amateur hour.

I mis scheduled my appointment and showed up 2 days early on accident. Paula the receptionist and the glass technicians were able to get me in and replaced the windshield and I wasn’t even waiting for 1 hour! Super friendly people and awesome service. Prime example of top notch service!

Very helpful and fast to get us an appointment. Was helped directly by the location manager and ensured she would help find out what the issues is with our rear windshield.

Safelite... what do I think about Safelite... personally I think they suck. I tried for over 40 minutes to reach a live agent, the system kept hanging up on me. Kept directing me to do things online. I wasn't home, didn't have my computer. Customer service to me is negative 5. Gave them 1 start because I couldn't post negative stars

Just stopped by to check on status of my mother's vehicle ( windshield replacement) and realized they had already got her in and sent her on with new windshield done. Excellent service.

EDIT: They did a good job for the repair, local place is ok but dealing with customer service was a pain...

Could never get in touch with a live person, stupid automated system is junk and would not let me talk to a person... and kept hanging up... Had to drive in will update review once service is done
