One star is too generous.
I prepaid nearly $300 for Safelite to come to my home and replace the windshield in my truck. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday between 12:00 and 5:00 PM. Saturday morning, I received a call saying the windshield arrived damaged and they needed to reschedule. Frustrating, but I understood, things happen.

A new appointment was made for that following Monday, again between 12:00 and 5:00 PM at my home. But on Sunday evening, I saw an email saying I was scheduled to bring my truck to their Hattiesburg location between 7:30 and 9:30 AM. That’s a 40-minute drive from where I live, and I had no windshield!

I called customer service multiple times Monday morning, and after being bounced around, someone from the shop finally called me back just to tell me I didn’t even have an appointment, they claimed I was only scheduled to be “notified” if my glass came in. So why send an email telling me to drive to the shop?

I had already been without my truck for nearly two weeks trying to save up the money for this repair, and they completely wasted my time. Poor communication, no accountability, and terrible customer service. Never again. This was my first and last experience with Safelite.

Safelite, Hattiesburg, MS is professional in their correspondence with customers as well as work. My son is VERY satisfied with the technician’s experience, service. and contact details when his windshield and wipers were replaced (at the convenience of our home).

I prepaid and scheduled a windshield service appointment with Safelite for July 8th with a confirmed 8 AM–12 PM window at my place of business. No one showed up. There was no communication from the store or tech, no call, no text, nothing. I was told most of his calls were in Lucedale. Sounds like a scheduling/dispatching issue. Not a good enough excuse for a guaranteed reservation.

After rearranging my entire morning and hearing nothing back, I had to leave work early, lose hours, and drive to their location just to get the service done—something that was supposed to be handled on-site.

Despite all this, there was no apology, no explanation, and no offer of any kind of courtesy for the trouble, no possible “upgrade” on rain shield—nothing. Even customer care couldn’t get in touch with them. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Safelite failed on every level of customer service. I won’t be using or recommending them again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Over the years I've had several repairs and just had my 2nd windshield replacement done here. I've checked and they always have the lowest price. Their work is top quality and is done on time. I wouldn't do business with anybody else

Horrible work and worse attitude. Chips repaired in my windshield and it still looks the same. Staff is very rude. They go through your paperwork in your car. Not a good place to go.

The technician took my car to the back to inspect it and, without consulting with me on the repair or the results, they started fixing the windshield. I would not have been OK with this kind of job. I wanted them to let me know what they can do with the windshield. That money could’ve gone toward a new windshield. They forcefully grabbed the job without consultation and they were very rude about it and they went through my paperwork. I don’t appreciate how they act over there and that moron that sits at the desk was trying to play defense, Lawyer For the company that broke the windshield. That’s not his job.

I have been trying to contact the owner and I have been trying to contact corporate, but they have an automated brick wall. My next recourse of action is suspend the $80 downtown to file a small claim and get you guys to send some lawyers over there to answer it.

Awesome job, windshield looks like the original and they calibrated the sensors so I didn't have to go to the dealership.

Arrived on time. Tech was fast and efficient, as well as a pleasure to deal with. The mobile service is far better than having to wait in service center. Would definitely recommend and use again.

The Safelite technician was professional and prompt. I was concerned with having to drive a vehicle with shattered glass to get it repaired, but they took all of the stress away. I would definitely recommend this location as an option for your vehicle glass needs.

I was just on hold for a while and as soon as the agent picked up they hung up on me. It's so ridiculous to have to go through so much to speak to an actual person and then to be disrespected by that person and get hung up on is absurd.

Matt was super nice. Held a great conversation even though it was not a long one. Felt super comfortable leaving me car with them to work on. Called me when they found problems with the windshield and was super honest. Completed the car in a just a couple hours. Overall just an amazing experience.

I Hardly ever leave reviews but I felt this was needed. I scheduled an appointment with Safelite for Wednesday, December 18, 2024 between 8 and 12. On Wednesday, the Tech text me said he would actually be closer to 1:30. I said ok and waited. The tech showed up around 1:30 and began to prep for changing my windshield. About five minutes later he tells me he still has the keys to the previous customers car an hour away and needed to leave. He said he would reschedule me for his first appointment on Thursday and would throw in some new wipers for my trouble. I said that would be fine. On Thursday about 10 am I texted the tech and asked if he was still coming. No answer to my text. I called and there was no answer. At about 2 pm on Thursday, I called the Safelite number and was told the tech had an emergency and was actually in the hospital. Understandable. I was surprised that nobody from the office had called to tell me he wouldn’t be coming. I asked could I bring my car to the Hattiesburg Safelite and just get it done there. I was told that the previous tech still had my windshield in his van at his home and someone would be coming out the next day (Friday) between 8-12. I expressed my frustration that I really needed this done before the weekend as we would need the vehicle to travel for Christmas. It is now Friday at 6 pm and nobody has shown up. I have called Safelite three times and spoke to three different customer service reps who seemed to have no idea about my previous conversations. Each one said the tech would call me soon but nobody ever did. I requested to speak to the Hattiesburg store manager, Isaiah, the last time I called. I was put on hold then told that he could not be reached but the rep had left my number on his voicemail and also sent an email. He has not returned my call. I knew it being a Friday and close to the holiday that folks would be pushing to get home and begin their weekends. As of right now, I still have no new windshield and nobody has called to reschedule my appointment. Whether he shows up on Saturday I guess we shall see, but I don’t hold out hope. I’ve used Safelite many times but this has been the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had. I will use another company for my next auto glass needs. If I had not already paid Safelite I would be using someone else this time. So much for getting this fixed before Christmas.

Love love love this Safelite location. My tech did an amazing job repairing my windshield. They were finished with vehicle in a hour and a half. Friendly staff and amazing. Take your vehicle to them. I drove over a hr to this location and it was definitely worth it.

I had a great experience with Safelite Hattiesburg. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment and had me in and out for a replacement in 60 minutes with text updates making it easy for me as the customer. The front desk lady was so kind and personable, come here for your windshield needs!!!

Safelite Hattiesburg changed my appointment for repairs 3 times in 3 weeks while I have a broken window in my car.
They charged me on day 1 three weeks ago. Apparently that is the only thing they were good at.
Safelite Hattiesburg stood me up with no notification on the final appointment.
I waited for the 4 hour appointment window and when I called to ask about it I was given excuses about their distribution network making a mistake.
No Communication. No Apology. No Accountability. No Respect No Honor.
No Thank You.

Have not visited recently. But since Google thinks that I have, I will say that it has been close to a couple years since I have been. Which is good considering mostly cracked windshields is what lands me here!!! LoL!!! But in the past, have never had any issues when dealing with this location. And will always call upon Safelite for all my windshield needs!!!!!

I had a windshield put in and within the first week the weather strip came off so I took it back for repair and told them that it also had a air leak as well but when I picked it up I was told it was probably the difference between the original weatherstripping and there's causing the noise and didn't have a leak so to make a long story short it stormed a couple of day later and the leak was so bad rain was dripping inside my car so I repaired it myself and the weatherstripping is still coming loose occasionally

I came to this location today because, unfortunately, a different location installed my windshield incorrectly. I'm sure it was a harmless mistake, but there was air leaking through my windshield and miscommunications from their office about getting it fixed.

The Hattiesburg team was so kind and welcoming. I can't remember the manager's name, but he immediately greeted me and talked me through everything professionally. I think Matt was the one who completed the service itself; Matt was very nice and his work was great. So far, I haven't had any noise from my windshield and it's made a world of difference with all the driving I do. There was a lady at the front desk that I didn't get to talk to, but she was so kind and sweet to everyone who came in and called; it made the time fly by and I felt more than comfortable hanging out until my windshield was fixed. This was fantastic customer service all around. Thank you guys!

I've been to this location 3 times to have windows replaced. I went the other day just to order a window. Parked right in front of the store in case they needed to look at the window I was ordering. Was going to take 10 minutes or less. Wasn't in the way of anyone, except someone with an attitude. Now I'll find another business who wants my money.

Tried to scam me at the Hattiesburg location. Told me to replace my cracked windshield would cost more than my $1,000 deductible and advised me to file a claim with my auto insurance, pay the $1,000 deductible and they would handle the insurance directly. Doesn’t pass the smell test. Got a new windshield for $523 at Safelite in New Orleans in 1 hour.
