Absolutely incompetent people !!!!
Folks around there walk like they have all day do do something while the costumer is standing there waiting for them. No incentive to go above and beyond. I’m very disappointed in my last visit at the Store. We bought 2,500 worth of Craftsman Tool Boxes, and in 105 degree heat index, they left me to load them by myself. I’m sure Menards is going to love to see me in there store from now on. I’m done with Lowe’s !!!!!

I hate your pickup today stuff you can never actually pick it up that day and if i wanted to wait I wouldn't choose the today option. If you dont have workers to get the orders done then dont have that option. Atleast let the person know before making the order that it'll be tomorrow. Walmart you can pick times and the workers have to get it ready. Do better.

I went to Lowe’s this morning, not really knowing what I needed—just looking for a part for a faucet. A man named John, who works there, offered to help. Hands down, it was the best customer service I’ve ever received. He truly went above and beyond. John deserves a big pat on the back—he’s the kind of employee who makes Lowe’s look great.

Variety is such a broadened variety for any and all types of home remodeling, reconstruction, repair and replacement pieces.
For the simple task of renting their delivery truck, it was exquisite affordability and concreted independence at a convenient level.

FRI, JAN 10, 2025 WE PURCHASED A POWERBOSS 8200 GENERATOR. MY HUSBAND'S HEALTH IS NOT GOOD AND WE HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO HELP UNLOAD THE 165 LB UNIT WHICH TOOK A FEW DAYS. TODAY, FRIDAY THE 17th we called to tell them the battery wont keep a charge and to see if we need to bring the battery in or the whole unit. We were told we only had 48 hrs to return generators. If we had purchased an extended warranty that MIGHT have helped!?!?! An $800 purchase with a 3 year warranty, right out of the box and they said 'sorry'. That's some way to treat a customer, a 76 yr old Veteran that has been battling cancer for 15 yrs due to his service time. I am beyond aggrivated!!! If I had the option I wouldn't have given any stars! Today we can't ask enough questions to make sure we comply with store policy.

One star for today's visit whoever within Lowes hierarchy made the decision to sell but not stock appliances and only offer hone delivery at an extra charge of 29.99 just guaranteed that I will not ever purchase any appliance from them again. Menards is right next door and they have what i need today and if I want to hire a meth head to Install it in my house they can be found at most major intersections within a mile of this store holding signs

Why did the store in Cape Girardeau go to all self checkout at the main checkout area? Of all stores that do not need self checkout, this is one. I can say that I don't like it and when I was in there Saturday the lines were backed up. While I can't say I will never shop there again, I can say that I will choose another store over them from now on.

If you plan to do a special order or ask for help, don't expect to get professional help. My last job, start to finish, was a living nightmare, and I still can't figure out how much money I lost between trying to get things figured out and getting the right materials. I did an online order pick up and went to pick it up, but it was sent to Kansas City. Then, after waiting around for an hour and a half, I still had to pull all the materials myself. I did a special order, and they sent me the wrong stuff. Material was not advertised accurately to the size they said it was, so I came up to boards short. They refused to order more, claiming they have discontinued it, but after fighting with them for about an hour, they finally said there was some in Farmington, but they weren't willing to order it for me. So I had to take three business hours to drive there for 5 minutes of business. The warranty policies suck as well. It's like waiting in the ER and seeing who holds out the longest. It's as if they're hoping you just give up and leave, but if you wait there long enough, they'll finally give in and give it to you. But you may be sitting there for 2 hours. I will try my best to stay out of the store because I am so fed up with them. None of my returns have shown up in my account either, so it looks like they cheated me out of that as well, and chances are I have lost $100s.

Wow, don't even bother going to Lowe's. They got rid of ALL the checkout people. It is all self checkout. Not only do I not have a binder with specialty skus like "cut charge" but the helper tried to scan the board I bought and it wouldn't scan, so she said "Well those numbers are too small for me to read so y'all should walk all the way down to commercial and checkout there." Uh...so the old guys have better vision? So...we will get the $600 worth of stuff we left sitting there at Menards.

On or about May 28, 2023 Emma Roberts went into lowes to order new countertops for her kitchen. Everything was supposedly confirmed, deposit paid and lowes was in control of the installation. Unknown to me lowes subcontracted a company called hallmark stone to install the countertops, when they came I thought they were a part of lowes installment team and allowed them to start on the project, two young men came, one black and one caucasian .They did the removal of the old countertops, sink and faucets. Put new tops on and a new sink and because I did not have a new faucet to be installed they told me to get one and they would come back, drill the hole and install the new faucet. The person from hallmark failed to cap the water lines off and the next morning I got up to approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches of water on my kitchen and dining room floor, they caused a water leak, which caused over $22,000 in damage to my floors and cabinets, everything had to be replaced. Lowes neither hallmark would take responsibility, and hallmark stones insurance company had the nerve to say it was my fault! My insurance company had to take that $22,000 hit, which is gonna cause my insurance to go up or the company will drop me. I spoke with people in supervisory positions at lowes; Brandy, Daryl, Beck, then a Desmond in something like a resolutions department, everyone promised to help and to this day I have heard nothing, and my insurance company is stuck with over a 22,000 thousand dollar bill. Lowes is not a reputable company in my opinion; go to Menards or Home Depot.

My water pump went out on our well, so I tried every store in Cape Girardeau and the only place that carried the pump and water tank was Lowe's!!!! The young man that helped me was so nice to help me find everything I needed!!!!!

You have the friendliest and extremely knowledgeable lady in your paint department!! If Tiara isn't there, we will wait until she's back. She tells us what we want, why we should choose it, and goes the extra mile to show us why. I sure hope you know how valuable she is for your store! She keeps us coming back!!

Out of all the big box stores, I prefer Lowes. Especially the Cape location. The store is always clean and the staff are almost always friendly. I can't remember any instance where I would negatively rate them.
