In the lumber section, Brian helped us pick out plywood, showed us the options we had, and cut the pieces up in the dimensions we needed! He was very knowledgeable, kind, super helpful, and got the job done perfectly!! He is working hard!

Went to garden center yesterday with my Mom to get plants. It took me 4 tries to find flat cart to put plants on. All the wheels were messed up on the flat carts and some of the buggies. I observed 1 Customer having to pull flat cart backwards because the wheels were messed up. The garden center was busy and only 1 person working the register. The flat carts and some buggies need to be replaced. I expect more out of Lowe's.

I was in the garden center this morning. Two young lady employee's were standing there just talking the whole time I was there. The kicker is I said "Good morning, young ladies". They both looked at me and said nothing. They heard me. I'm not quiet. I turned around and looked at them and said "How are you both doing?" One said "fine". They were very rude and not working on top of that. They are bad employees.

A lot of times, when I visit this Lowes, it's hard to get help in the lumber section. Today, two guys were very helpful. Brian helped me load plywood inside, and Daniel helped me load some 2x6s with the forklift outside. It's nice to receive good service when loading lumber.

I went in on Wednesday February 26th to buy a refrigerator and have it delivered the next day. The next day came and no delivery they had a problem finding the address and I wasn’t contacted. I rescheduled it for Sunday March 2nd and they never made it to me. I called to ask about my product and told them I brought the appliance because my refrigerator went out, so I’m going this entire time without a refrigerator and was told it was taken back to the wrong store so I have to wait until they get it back to their store and then have it delivered which is scheduled for Sunday March 9th a whole week and 4 days from when it was first ordered. I called the store and all I’m basically told is that the delivery service is a 3rd party so they have no control. You can’t communicate together and say we are making this customer wait so we need to get a rush on it?

Bought a WHIRLPOOL washing machine, had a repair guy come say “I CANT EVEN WORK ON THIS, IM A REFRIGERATOR TECH.” But he called someone & they said it was the board gone out. Couldn’t get a activation code to swap. So got another one. The same thing happened 6 months later. Went back to Lowe’s & had hoops to jump through again. The Lowe’s service dept & whirlpool warranty dept said I needed LOWES MANAGER to call for code to swap. Lowes said I have to get it. After 7 days it’s still NOT taken care of. They gonna send a repair guy (from Electric ? in Meridian, MS)out to work on it. The earliest appointment they have to do so is APRIL 7, 2025 (9mths from purchased date). Lowes has already had a few of these returned due to same clicking issue, not changing cycles. This tells me Lowes is selling crap. Wont be using them anymore for anything. If you purchase any appliance it’s not gonna be replaced after 48hours. They will repair it though.

Amazing compared to Meridian Lowe's. Go to Philadelphia for all your appliances. Meridian associates, managers, and whoever is above them put you on speaker phone, tell you they will take care of the problem and don't. They look up the order and read off what you just told them as if they know what is going on. Thank you, Philadelphia for hiring quality!!

I’ve never had a bad experience with this Lowes until today. I went in to check in for my pickup order and when I got there, someone was already there and had been waiting for 6 minutes, he went to someone and had them call to help them with his pickup. The lady that came was very obviously rushed and seemed angry. She walked in the pickup area grabbed my order, handed it to me, and walked off, all while rolling her eyes and huffing. Not to mention she didn’t even get the other man’s order who called for her to come up.

I’m only giving three stars because I’ve genuinely not had a bad experience with this store, and I think this isn’t the store but the worker. This worker seemed upset that she had to do her job. It is appalling that people go into the service industry but act like they hate people and their job.

We have waited for our appliances for almost a week. We were told through a text that our appliances would be delivered the on the 31st. After waiting ALL day; I called and was told that they had to change my delivery day to 3 days later ( they did not text, call or ask me). I was supposed to host family for New Year's day; but now I have no stove). Ok, so the next delivery date... no appliances... I called local and Corp. ... they told me that they would deliver "Sunday"... I called them on Sunday and they told me that in 3 hours I would have my appliances... they came at 7:50 p.m... no cord for my stove; which we asked for when we purchased the appliances. The delivery men could not connect the appliances... so I called Lowe's at 7:57 ( they put me on hold).. I am still on hold 25 minutes later... They closed and have left me on hold! During this week I have spoken to the manager at least 4 times... I think I need to get my money back and go somewhere else! What has happened to customer service?

I must say I have NEVER felt so disrespected by anyone, much less a business employee and MANAGER of all employees, Kenon, in the 70 years God has graced me with. And to top his disrespect off he totally ignored my attempt to have a conversation with him about how I felt disrespected by how he treated me during my visit to the Meridian store in 12/29/2024. Furthermore I am SHOCKED that someone elevated this guy, Kenon, to a management position. Instead of trying to allay my well-founded concerns regarding how he disrespected me, he immediately changed my subject holding on to his very flat, emotionless persona. However, I must say, someone was at the bottom of their barrel or used markedly poor judgment themselves. I know the owner gloats customer satisfaction as a priority,, and to that I simply have to call bullshit. If managers are allowed to treat customers so rudely and disrespectfully, what might some of the other staff againbe allowed to get away with.
Kenon's arrogance goes beyond discrimination of a senior citizen.
The fact that at spent over $200K at LOWE'S plays only one part in thus. That is: it won't happen again!

Meridian, Mississippi has no clue on customer service. Every employee is on their phone and not helping anyone. For fun they rearrange the shelves so you can't find anything. Very few employees know anything about rebuilding or tools. Mostly I have to order online to be picked up just to not deal with NOTHING being stocked. If you need assistance then just give up and go elsewhere.
*Update
In 7 months it is even worse. The hardware area has nothing in it's marked spot. Says 7.18 and when ringing up it's 22.98. This is the last time I shop there.

Need more workers on Saturdays. Wait times for help too long. Employees know what they are doing but are overwhelmed with customers. Schedule more employees so that they can help without customers getting aggravated. Self check out is not for everyone and causes even longer wait times/back ups when it needs human help and there is only 1 employee to cover all 6 self-checkouts.

Zero stars, the worst Lowe's I have ever been to. Every time I go there its the worst experience of any retail store I have ever been in. Calling the 1-800 number is a waste of time, I've been down that road several times before as well. So don't bother replying to my review with that auto created message and acting as if Lowe's is truly concerned.

Giving them only 2 stars just because they have items there. This location is seriously lacking customer service who are willing to help. Also, very important that you know they have recently changed their return policy “ they only return to the card used” there is no exchange or store credit. So if you get a new bank or have closed that bank then you will not get your money back. This makes no sense and customer service had no answer when asked.

For me I feel like I have a better shopping experience when I know exactly what I'm looking for and not expect the Sales Associate to READ MY MIND it's not their job's, I know people get frustrated at big box store's when they can't find what they want and even worst because the Associate has no idea what the customer is looking for.
EXAMPLE: Customer comes into my Lowe's and need a Lawn mower blade the Associate ask what kind of mower the customer doesn't know the Associate list several brands names NO takes.the customer outside to look at the lawn mowers he's still not sure THAT ASSOCIATE HAS DONE EVERYTHING she then suggests he call family or friends who may know the type NOPE she says if he could maybe come back with a pic at the end he cursed the Associate out and reported her to management BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T READ HIS MIND that was a member of my family # The Associate I watched the whole episode play out.

I have given up on Meridian Lowes. We drove 40 minutes to purchase three items that were listed as in stock. Two of the items were not there. One of the items (small tubes of liquid nails) was there. However, the three tubes that were on the shelf had been open, damaged packaging, and taped back together with clear tape. One tube had a hole in the side of the tube with liquid nailed seeping out. The other two tubes were solid. Why put that back on the shelf? No less than 10 employees were walking around, talking to each other, and offering no assistance or stocking anything. This is a reminder that even when you need something immediately it’s best to order from Amazon and wait the two days. A trip to Lowe’s will end up in spending money, on products that don’t work or are not there, and you still end up purchasing from somewhere else.

If negative stars were an option, that's what they'd be getting. I've had it with the Lowe's in Meridian. I maintain low expectations, but today was the last straw. I bought an Ego weed trimmer (the highest priced one they carry), and when I opened it at home I found it was used! Three hundred dollars is too much to pay for a weed eater, anyway, but I'm not doing it for one that was returned and restocked.

I'm very disappointed because I had to return a much needed major appliance due to it being no good (fridge) but I'll still give a good review based on my experience with Maiya. She was kind, helpful, and professional with assisting me with my return. Also a lady named kanisha was kind and remained professional despite me being a bit irate about my return. I will continue to shop there, I just won't be purchasing any appliances.

I'm telling you this place get worse everyday I'm tiered of these big corporations they have killed all the home town hardware stores and now they know that they have you where it doesn't matter if they have what you need went to get a replacement cabinet hinge all the compartments were filled with stuff that was all mixed up it was miserable finally had to go to a cabinet builder that I used before and he gave me a hinge all this time I was supposed to be having my over installed this same day installers frome lows couldn't find the oven so I called got hung up on 5 time because they put me on hold finally found a service member that went to the back and found it 3 aisle over from where they said it was she said she would call me back never did went there found someone said they would pull it to the front so I could pick it up for the installation people who are supposed to pick it up and install it ill pick it up Sunday and hopefully bring it home so the installers have it to install when they can make time just so you know I paid to have it picked up and installed to all you big corporations if your going to weed out all the mom and pops places at least be as good as they were

Went back to Lowes for a piece of plywood , was told to wait till a gentleman got through with something he had to move . I waited and waited and waited. Finally I just left, no one ever ask me if I needed anything.This is the kind of service I have always gotten from this store. Don't know why I even bother.

They seriously need to make people work. Every time I go through the plumbing, electrical, or hardware bins, they are so mixed up I have to almost empty them to get to what is actually supposed to be in the bin. And when I say "every time" I mean every time.

You never know what type of experience you will have here. I have had good and bad experiences. Sometimes if you need help, someone is there. Other times it will take awhile to find someone. In general, the customer service is not friendly here and are not focused on the customer. You will be checking out and some of the workers will be talking back and forth not about the job, but about this or that. They have no sense of etiquette! Every now and then you will come across a rare diamond who works at Lowes that is knowledgeable and is amazing in every way. It is a hit or miss when you go here. The new CEO of Lowes is going to run it into the ground. That is why Home Depot got rid of him. They also stopped giving Military discounts on a lot of building materials.
