Lowe's Home Improvement - Gaffney, SC

I went in to purchase some new piping for under my bathroom sink and Michael (assistant store manager) was an amazing help to finding every single piece we needed to fix it. This guy is awesome!!

Get rid of the 3rd party delivery now! They are giving Lowe's a bad name. At bare minimum change companies. I don't have a problem with my local Lowe's. My problem is with their 3rd party delivery team. I had a refrigerator schedule to be delivered today. The driver calls says they are 5 mins out. Then the warehouse manager calls and says they are at the open creek by my house. I don't know why the GPS took them that way there are two other open ways to get to my home. I let him know this and he had them call me back. I gave them road names and exact directions to get them the 3 mins back to my house. After 10 minutes I got worried and called them back twice with now answer and called the manager back with no answer. I then drove around the area to find them and help them get to my house.(they were literally just a road over) I called wvernumber possible and the numbers those numbers gave me with no luck from anyone. There's no way they tried to find my house because the very first road they past coming back from the creek was the road I told them to take. They took the early day and took it back to the warehouse. From 2:30 to now, I've been calling and waiting on 3 different managers to call me back with no one returning my call. I then got a text stating my delivery had arrived. Then at 5pm I got a text telling me they rescheduled my delivery. No one called to tell me. Speaking to the warehouse manager again finally around 5:30. He was unprofessional and wouldn't listen and didn't help me at all. This has been the worst experience with delivery ever.

"Joe" in the plumbing department went above & beyond to help me. Even after we couldn't find the part I needed, he helped me find an alternative to solve my problem. Thanks Joe, you saved me lots of time, money & stress. Lowe's is lucky to have a great employee like you.

Sometimes it’s hard to find help when you need it. First, you’ll hear that’s not my department, or head over towards Aisle # 19 and maybe somebody there can help you.

Generally it’s because I’m busy, you’re not important enough, or I just don’t really know the answer.

I don’t belong in this place. I’m just here for the paycheck. Meanwhile, you can find two or three gathered around the appliances, complaining about their workplace environment or the customers that expect him to do their job.

It's a good place to get items for your house but if you can't find them then you can't find anyone to help you

Went to Lowe's on June 30th 2024 had to get some plumbing fixtures which all I had to do was ask the guy in plumbing to help me figure this out I didn't get his name but he was very helpful. Then when I got ready to check out I met this very sweet lady her name is Debra working the register at the front of the store I told her that I was going to leave her a positive review she is a very sweet person very understanding and truly wonderful to work with thank you Debra. I hope to see you at the checkout next time again thank you very much

Everyone was helpful. I found someone to help me right away. One of the store manager was understanding and kind and patient with me. The big plus to me was the cleanliness and organized. Very helpful and friendly always.

Always great to walk around and just see what is available for doing crazy projects at home.

I wish I would remember to get the woman's name but she is ALWAYS helpful and a pleasure to talk with.

It’s another Lowes, not much more to say. Only complaint is, update Sunday’s hours for the Gaffney SC Lowes or follow posted hours. I am not sure if it’s just me but the past 3 times I’ve been to Lowe’s in Gaffney on Sunday they’ve locked the doors and ‘closed’ well before the posted 8pm closing time, tonight I walked up at 7:43pm, and the doors were locked on both sides. I get you don’t want last second people holding you up past closing, but closing 15+ minutes before posted times merits a posted update, I live 20 minutes or so away, I don’t have gas to be wasting because you decided to close up early…again. I say again because this has been a recurring theme with only this Lowes to my knowledge. I needed one thing, a 1/2” to 3/8” bushing fitting, so that I could finally install my kitchen faucet and have running water in the kitchen again, but due to this inconvenience I guess I’ll have to wait till I get off work tomorrow and try again, not at Gaffney Lowes though.
