I have been extremely frustrated dealing with Erie Roofing. In the fall of 2022 we had a new '50 year' roof installed on our house at a cost of over $20,000. A year later, I was in our attic and saw that it had been leaking. Last January, a tech came out and informed me that the chimney flashing was not done right. Instead of correcting the problem, it appeared that the problem was addressed with copious amounts of silicone. The roof is still leaking. On April 9th, I spoke with a project manager in Bloomfield, CT to fix the problem. He promised to call me back with a date for the work to be done. It has been three weeks, and I have heard nothing. Terrible service. I regret ever having Erie do my roof work.

Very pleased with the installation of my new roof. The workers did a good efficient job and put up protection covers to protect the house from falling debris. They cleaned up well after the work was done.

We are relocating and bought this auction house and Chris, Dexter, Albert treated us like family they took care of our roof and help us to get the roof right next day we where scheduled they where home Wednesday and by Friday morning they had the entire house roof put in they couldn’t finish the porches due dark and next day to rain so Sunday they didn’t work so Monday they came back and finished my roof looks amazing, they help us and guide us thru the financing application we got the fiber roof the look of the home looks amazing like a different house we are truly bless and lucky to find them, love the materials they offered they have so many options and they help you to find you the right solution! Erie roofing did a quick and reliable job, replacing the roof on my home. There is an unfortunate incident where the dumpster didn’t align with the timing of the roof and a pile of debris was left in my yard and wind storm came along that night blowing all of the old roof debris all over my property, this is not typical of Erie to screw something up like this, but I’m still finding pieces of tarp and nails scattered across my property daily.

The installation only took one day and my neighbors were stunned by the outcome. The clean up was a breeze. My house looks like new.

Overall the service was quite good . The foreman was not completely clear on what he was supposed to do which I found puzzling . I would have thought that it would have been established exactly what he was supposed to do . The workers were a bit careless about minding damage to my plants .they damaged two flowering plants .Other than that they did a good job .

I was very impressed with the quality of work and the materials used. The crew that installed the roof was on site on time and worked continuously from 7 AM till 7 PM on the first day. Day two; the crew arrived early, completed the roof by noon, and did an excellent job of policing up any roofing debris around the house and on the property. These guys were machines. They worked as a team and completed the job one day sooner than estimated. I would recommend Erie Home to anyone looking for a roof replacement.

Upon an inspection, Erie found black mold in our attic, and rotting wood. They worked with use to set up a payment plan that did not break our bank.

Scheduled one appointment on a Sunday. Then they called me the day before the “appointment” and informed me their employee doesn’t know their own hours and that they aren’t open on sundays. Then they scheduled me for the following Friday. No call, no show. Wouldn’t recommend. Thanks for wasting my time. Not sure what you will say in response to this, but anything will be laughable at this point.

The team that arrive on site was professional and efficient. There was a miscommunication between the sales team and the operations team, but after discussing the matter, all issues were resolved swiftly and satisfactory. The finished product looks great. I feel comfortable recommending this company and the products placed on my house.

This was a big job, involving totally removing and installing a new main roof; and two lower, smaller roofs over the porch and kitchen. In addition, removing five skylights. The workers arrived timely and worked almost non stop through the day(s). They did a very good job of cleaning up, and there was a lot of debris to clean up! I am confident the roof will sustain the test of time! I thought it would be at least a four day job but it only took two full days to complete.

Good quality work!! The sales rep Chris was great. He explained everything thoroughly and had a great presentation. The roofing contractors were prompt and professional. The finished on time and explained the work that was done. Overall we are very pleased with our new roof.

Erie Construction was a pleasure to work with the staff was very professional and walked me through step by step. I had to reschedule my appointment to replace my roof because the solar company cancel the removal of my panels from the roof. Not an issue new appointment was setup a few days later. The only complaint I had was nobody on the roofing crew spoke English.

They run their company like a timeshare. Come to your house they want to make sure your spouse is there. When I said my spouse would be unavailable because she's ill they refused to come out for a quote. I found out through a friend who also tried them that the saleman wouldn't leave their house. High pressure to sign a contract the guy was there for 4 hours wasted their entire Saturday. The metal roof price was four times that of a normal roof cost, yet they advertise 60% off. When you say no they try to sell you a standard roof and their installation price was double any other quotes they had already received. I would stay away unless you have time and money to burn.

Funny, kind, polite and so efficient! We have been thrilled with the new roof and would use Erie again in a heartbeat!

We had representative Chris come out to our home and explain to us and show us in detail the materials that would be used in the installation of roof. He was very patient as we made our final decision.

The team of roof installers were alway on time and respectful to our property and of our neighbors. Every evening they made sure to clean not only our yard but also of the neighbor’s since debris was going over the fence.

We also got to meet Sean, who was very Professional and helpful in answering additional questions we had.

Erie construction came out when I reported I needed a new roof asap! Took several pictures showing it was more than just a patch job needed and explained their products and what would be done. They came out as soon as they could. Getting the building permit took longer than them getting the materials needed and I received them earlier than I was supposed to. All in all I'd highly recommend these guys.

Had Frank and his roofing crew come replace the peaked roof on my three decker. Big and complex roof with valleys and some other complex shapes. Guys were very professional, all worked safely and OSHA compliant. I took a look at the roof several times during the process. Very well done. Roof came out great. Even their clean up up operation was very thorough. You don't have to watch over them because they do pro work.

On 9/24/2021, one of your sales reps and his supervisor came out to our house to quote and demonstrate Erie’s roofing system. We looked at several other contractors, but Erie had the top of the line product and offered what we were looking for. We also informed them that we were looking at different contractors as my father passed unexpectedly in May and had no life insurance or anything saved for retirement and were are on an extremely limited income as my mother only works part-time and I am actively seeking employment. They were able to apply discounts that we qualified for and said that we were approved for financing and my mother signed the contract.Yesterday, 10/14 I called the Hartford office to see where we were in terms of getting the project started and I was told that the servicer would only approve the financing if we had a co-applicant on the financing application, as an unemployed, recent college graduate who is up to my neck in student loan debt, I am not eligible. My siblings are also not willing or not eligible to be co-applicants, and no one else in my family wants to co-apply either. My mother and I were never contacted by the sales rep or his supervisor about this issue and now we’re stuck in a contract we can’t afford to cancel and are quickly running out time to find another contractor who can either replace the roof with a similar system or tarp it to get us through the winter. I personally do not appreciate this added stress and neither does my mother. I am also considering filing a complaint with the Department of Consumer Protection.

At first there was inadequate communication from the contractor. It was confusing as to when the crew would arrive. We never met with the general contractor who was to give us information about the condition of the chimney flashing. There was supposed to be a dumpster brought in but that never happened.

Leak around chimney has been fixed. Evidently there was a leak around the flashing of a nearby vent pipe. Noticed water in the basement but the installation on-site manager came back and identified a plumbing leak. We want to thank the crew for all their fine work and excellent clean up.

The crew that put on our new roof did a fantastic job, they where very professional, polite and responsive to any questions. These fiberglass roofs are very expensive, but I feel the quality of materials and labor will Insure this is the last roof I ever do on this house.

I had a really good experience with this company. Our roof desperately needed to be replaced. This is our first home & did not know much about roofing so for our initial visit, lots of time and in depth explanation was given to us. As well as all of our questions being answered. Job was done in 1 1/2 days; workers were mindful of our property, cleaned up, & were very polite. If you need a roof repair, I recommend going with Erie!

Initial contact was very positive and stayed positive through first meeting and review of house. Options were discussed and pros and cons reviewed and the choice was up to me. We walked around the house and using the company program were able to see the different roof colors on the house. The installation was done with my availability and convenience in mind. The installers were polite and checked with me when issues arose. The plan was for a one day install with a second day planned in case of unforseen issues and the total install took two days. The installers were very careful of my property and cleaned up all the construction waste. Very pleased and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality installation. Follow up contact was also made and my satisfaction was paramount.

On September, My house was done by a subcontractor from Erie company , which they were very unprofessional to deal with and the supervisor Steve very unreliable I have so many issues through the beginning off this job always to the end . my experience was so bad that I would not recommend them I have pictures of the poor job that they performed on my house which they never fixed the roof shingles and left. Them all bumpy the one who installed the roof told me that would go down when the sun hit them well the bumps wasn’t going down for full two week I also call them to fixed and the front off the house which they didn’t know how to do a good cut on the Valley they took one months to come back and try to fixed , oh boy half way done he was upset that I call the company and the installer (name Victor ) that he need to make the cuts straight he told me that he knows how to do the roof shingles and I was brain wash by other roofers that he knows his job very unprofessional I call the supervisor to tell him the poorly job that I was getting and he told me he would fixed him self . I said okay, he came fix the front after I keep calling them for almost 3 weeks to finish the job he show up and still didn’t pour some of the crown molding that was pull off when they stripped the roof . Which I never got fix . I’m sorry but please think again do your homework before you hired this company plus they are not the chip one I hope they stand by the warranty that they give me on my roof that is if they keep there business and Change there contractors.

The only complaints that I have are that the people who installed the roof didn't finish the job, but came back quickly to finish. Also Erie advertised a chance to have a roof for $89 but the sales person stated that this didn't exist.

I was very happy with ERIE Construction! They use high quality materials and all interactions were very professional. All of their staff were knowledgeable and hard-working. The guys came on time, they worked very hard, and they completed my roof in the same day with a spectacular clean up job. They even did some things I was not expecting, involving some leaks around the chimney and uneven parts of the roof. They were more helpful than they probably know. Money well spent!

Just bought our house in July , roof was loosing shingles so we went with the metal roof from Erie construction , heavy duty , great looking and I’ll never have to do it again in my lifetime . Looks amazing they did the entire strip , replace plywood, and roof install in just 3 days . Mind you it’s 3 stories up and a good pitch as well . Great job !!!!

I got fiberglass roofing with Erie. They were great on arranging finance. Although a bit expensive, I believe it’s worth it due to the quality materials promising durability and the 30y warranty! I didn’t have to do anything except sign off when the project was done. Erie did all that it said it would from dumpster drop off to complete cleanup, and finished the project in 1 day! The roof is beautiful and I have peace of mind knowing the next wind/rain/snow storm won’t damage my roof.
