This has become my go to shop. All the stuff so far are experienced enough to easily direct me to what i need. I am not properly trained in automotive(back yard mechanic, no classes) and they are good at helping me find the right terms, and have good communcation. They still Have a wide variety of parts available despite not being that big of a shop, and if I do need to order something, it usually takes no time to get in. I have been using this autozone since I moved back to the burg a good bit ago.

I had a fantastic experience at AutoZone thanks to one of their employees, ian. From the moment I walked in, ian was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I came in with a car battery issue, and not only did ian help me find the right replacement, but he also took the time to explain the differences between the options available.
What really stood out was his patience and genuine willingness to help—he even came outside to check my car and ensured the new battery was installed correctly and safely. You don’t always find that kind of service these days!
If you’re ever at this location, ask for ian. He clearly cares about what he does and goes above and beyond to help customers. Thanks again, ian—you made what could have been a frustrating situation quick and stress-free!

You know, I've been coming here for all my car problems for the past 5+ years. Im just a kid into cars. Now, I've met some people not so very nice and some extremely disrespectful. But this time for some reason really set me off.
I want to give a shoutout to bill. For ruining my perfect Saturday morning. I come in around 9:30-10 with a greeting to the new employee and proceed to grab what i needed. When i arrive at the desk then greeted by bill, i kindly asked if he could search for a few parts for my car, so he did. When i mentioned i needed a certain part, he began to talk to me in a way of arguing. (I know the difference when someone is nice, joking, or not.) So i made a counter opinion and thats when he kept cutting me off and saying “i dont care” and that i was wrong and my car was going to “blow up” . So i said “i respect what your saying im not trying to argue” and then again kept cutting me off and knowledge checking me about a car that I LITERALLY OWN and have obsessed over for 4 years!!!!
I had came in a second time not that long after i had left, and i was extremely surprised of how he was treating me this time now that there was more customers around. I was already mad and i said to him this time “i did not want to argue,” he then laughed at what i had said and tried to deny what had happened 30 minutes prior. I kept the talking short this time and just left.

I personally work in service and so to me, it is extremely important how you treat and talk your customers!

I just know now im probably never coming here again for anything i may need in the near future. Oriellys here i come!!!

Arlen and “Rabbit” are just the best… both of them were so helpful! Arlen spent a significant amount of time helping me figure out what’s wrong with my rally wagon and why the tail lights were not working. I let them know that I don’t know anything about vehicles and He came out and checked my fuses for me. When that wasn’t the issue, he changed the tail lights for me, which was kind of a huge task because the lightbulb was corroded in the little “light bulb hole” (told you I dont know anything about cars lol)… He pried out the old one and, when we realized that wasnt the issue either, “Rabbit” found that it was an electrical issue. Even though it took quite a lot of time and it was close to closing, they took their time and made sure I got some answers. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for their time and help Thank you!!

My visit started out good. Armando held the door for me and Jimmy greeted me upon entry. Armando checked on every customer in the store while Jimmy manned the front counter. After browsing for a while I went to Jimmy to ask about a product. He was sitting on the front counter on his phone. Once I asked about the product he recommended I check Amazon because that don’t carry anything like that. I was only looking for something to help remove water spots from paint. After I clarified he took me back to the detailing section and said “well anything here will probably work”. I probably should have asked Armando, he was able to help every other customer in the store while Jimmy played on his phone. I ended up leaving without what I was looking for. Maybe I will check Amazon next time.

Having a return that was past 90 days due to things beyond my control the Manager Arlin went above and beyond to take care of the situation for me. When the computer system gave him a road block I contacted corporate offices at his direction to find a resolution.

Upon calling the corporate Customer service number they were absolutely NOT helpful, tried to lecture me on policy, and I had to ask to escalate to a supervisor who was also not helpful and tried to shut my concerns down. He after pressing him, he agreed to reach out for executive assistance.

Finally a very professional and helpful district manager named Sal called me back then came alongside the store manager for a quick and successful resolution of my return. I am very pleased. Thank you!

Note: it would be best if return policies for all autozone stores are mentioned upon each sale, and more clearly posted for customers to learn about throughout the retail stores nationwide.

Went to help him find what I needed, had the item in my hand, only to have it ripped out of my hand by a manager and told to go back to the front of the store. Then to be lied to and told they didn’t have what I needed. The manager never once came to the front of the store to solve the issue. Phone call was made to corporate office for them to call me Monday morning

The customer service at AutoZone is by far the best I've experienced! They have set the bar high for the rest of the auto parts stores here in Ellensburg! I have started my first major car project with those great employees of AutoZone and I am happy to say that I was finally able to get my vehicle back on the road again. Simply because of the extraordinary compassion of the employees and staff that work there. The prices are by far the lowest out of the major auto parts stores in Ellensburg. But it was the customer service that kept me coming back. Thank you guys and girl's.

Bought new ignition coils and came in to get the check engine light codes read. Jess and Zo were friendly and gave awesome customer service, helped me with my problems and got me going. I’ll be back when I need more parts. Hopefully not too soon though haha

We had trailer bearing failure. The staff a manager looking man and a lady worker both made our bad day worse. We have an account at autozone. My mechanic has an account with autozone. The manager looking guy refused to allow either of us to use our account because we were " not from around here".
This was the worst parts store I have ever encountered. I'm 50. We had to pay cash for everything. $75 new bearing failed before we made the 300 mile journey home. The incompetent staff was the reason for the bad review.
1 of those stars is on me. I should have dragged my trailer anywhere else. Napa was across the street.
Payed cash for parts, tools etc. Mostly because I didn't trust handing over my card to the shady guy behind the counter that was clearly inconvenienced by our existence.

Best rewards system in town. I had to return a Jack that was missing the handle mount. I broke a 1/2in torque wrench trying to beak a bolt loose at 50lbs. That's my fault, you aren't supposed to do that lol. I've bought bolt breakers that are great and a torqx gear ratchet for very cheap and they're still going strong. Thank you for being kind and understanding Ellensburg AutoZone.

Wow! If I could give more stars for Jenny at
Ellensburg Auto Zone...I would. We live in Yakima and headed out this morning with our family of 8 to camp Deception Pass. My husband had our truck fully serviced at Harvest Chevrolet before our trip and they told us everything was great and good to go. We got past Ellensburg and had to pull over with our 29 foot trailer and young children because we were overheating.
Our roadside did zero for us and it was already 100 degrees at noon. So. I called the only open place to beg for help. Jenny answered and had absolutely the most professional and caring customer service we've ever experienced. She helped us get a new coolant tank, hoses and cap and had it all ready for our son when he went to get it. Our sons pulled out the old and put in the new and we are back on the road again. Now we are sitting in traffic to get over the pass, lol! but, at least we are on our way. Thank you so very much for your superior service Jenny.You truly saved our vacation as no one else was open and we would have had to wait until Monday regardless. You are truly amazing and I hope your good Grace comes back to you in every good way possible.

Finally got home from a week long vacation; car got us home, but wouldn't start 5 minutes later. Took the battery down, and before blindly buying a new battery I asked, "In you Profesional opinion, could it be the alternator?" Just in case. They tested the battery and "fortunately" the battery was bad requiring a simple swap. Unfortunately the battery didn't fit in my backpack. Oh right.. did I not mention I had to bike with a 30 pound battery in a backpack in August? Anyway, it wouldn't fit so Phil gave me a ride back to my address and made sure the battery worked properly before departing. I got everything connected and the car started right up! Can't thank the team there enough for their help!

We were driving through Washington State on business when our alternator went out. Stopped at the Autozone in Ellensburg and purchased a rebuilt one with a lifetime warranty. We made sure it had a lifetime warranty as we use our vehicle for business.
Two years later this alternator goes out. We took the receipt to our local Autozone for a replacement. Clerk at this store called the Ellensburg store to get warranty information. The Ellensburg clerk said there was nothing in their computer for the lifetime warranty. Our local clerk repeatedly advised that our receipt clearly stated "Lifetime Warranty", but the Ellensburg clerk wouldn't budge.
My husband, being the kind of person that doesn't like contention, went ahead and spent $200 +/- on another rebuilt alternator with a "Lifetime Warranty". This clerk assured him the "warranty" was in the computer.
If I had been the one doing this transaction, I would have taken my business elsewhere and vow to not do any business with any Autozone again.
