Unbelievable experience from the team at UAC! The full team was excellent, especially working with Dalton, Mark, DJ, and Holly. Couldn’t recommend this dealer more, as it was the most painless car buying experience I’ve had yet!

I needed to get my tires changed. The rate was good, they were able to fit me in the next day, and it was done that evening. I have no complaints.

They went above and beyond to help us with our Grand Cherokee when oil exploded all over our engine. They got the parts and cleaned up the mess to get it driving again. We are so grateful for Rachel and the Service Team at UAC in Ellensburg!

Did oil and filter change which was fine, they claimed they cleared oil change reminder (they did not, had to call my original dealership for instructions on how to do so) said they did a multi point inspection but I’m pretty sure they didn’t cause had they did they would have found I need new brakes and rotors all the way around (was hoping for a quote) didn’t state whether or not I needed a new air filter, and I know my in cabin filter needs changed as it has never been done since buying it brand new in 2018. When I’ve had my Jeep in for service at the other dealership when they do the multi point inspection they give you a sheet of paper showing your brake wear %, your tire depth, your battery voltage etc. I did not get any paperwork showing any of this which is disappointing as I would like to give them my business instead of driving to Enumclaw for these said services.

I was out with a couple of friends on Stampede Pass with my Jeep. I shifted the transfer case in to 4H, shifted in to 1st gear, let off the clutch and the Jeep wouldn’t move. I crawled under the Jeep and saw that the front drive line was hanging from the front differential by a single bent bolt. After securing the driveline with a full package of zip ties, I gingerly drove the Jeep, in 2 wheel drive, to a place I could get a cell signal.

I spoke with the tech and they said they could get a new set of bolts by 8am and they would be able to fit me in. We camped out just outside Ellensburg and arrived at the dealership the next morning. They had the parts, got my Jeep in, and got us back on the road in no time. I told them the Jeep was a bit dirty as we had been out in the hills and they said “no problem”, they even washed it.

This place was outstanding when it came to service. I just wish my local Jeep dealer were this focused on doing a good job. Outstanding work!

Mark and Bryan went above and beyond to help us when our Sprinter van broke down on the highway. They offered for us to camp in our van overnight in the lot, helped us get to Yakima to pick up the part we needed, and were able to squeeze our van into the shop right away so we could get back on the road as quickly as possible. The staff was so friendly and helpful, we are extremely grateful for the wonderful service. Thank you for everything!

The last few years we have had nothing but the best service. Always fast, no pressure, pleasant to talk with. They have a new program that works with your phone. Gives you a report of your vehicle, service results, options and add on’s, prices, pretty user friendly. I fully recommend University Auto.

I bought a GMC Acadia about a year ago and on the first oil change they found a leak and told me don’t worry about it. So I didn’t and then we started seeing oil on our shop floor so took it in and they said yep got a leak then it took them already 3 weeks to get the things they needed to fix it but nope they needed another part. Well the 4th day in the shop we called and they said it’s all done just need to test drive it. Well guess what my car is worse now then when they started. Hopefully they can get it right this time. Hopefully it doesn’t take another week to get finished. My $40,000 car

Excellent service people parts are slow, but that’s a nationwide issue. I’m not gonna blame UAC for that, but I do recommend them as a service site.

Just bought a really nice GMC Sierra 1500. Mark, Holly, and Courtney were amazing to work with. They were very nice and went above and beyond. I drove 3 hrs to buy the truck and it was well worth it. I will definitely be driving the 3 hours again to work with them in the future.

Extremely Disappointed – Not the Experience I Expected After Spending $70K+
I bought a brand-new 2025 Dodge Ram Rebel from University Auto Center (UAC), largely because of the incredible service and follow-through from a salesperson named Connor. He was honest about the pros and cons of the vehicle, followed up after the sale, and delivered top-tier customer service. Unfortunately, Connor is no longer with the dealership—and apparently, he took all the decent customer service with him.
I recently brought my truck in for its first oil change (which, by the way, many dealerships include for free when you buy a new vehicle—UAC does not). During the visit, they told me the tires needed to be rotated due to uneven wear. When I asked how that was possible after only 2,600 miles and zero towing, they suggested maybe I caused it, then charged me $25 for a tire rotation on a truck I bought brand new from them just 6 months ago. A $70,000+ truck. A short distance later the tire warning lights came on telling me the tire pressure on the fronts were way under inflated. Yes I took a picture for proof.
When I expressed surprise that tie rotation wasn’t included, the service rep’s only response was, “I don’t set the prices.” There was zero effort to make things right or show any level of care or appreciation for my business.
Tire shops rotate tires for free all the time—and yet this dealership nickel-and-dimes a loyal customer who spent $70K+ and hasn’t even hit their first year of ownership? Disgraceful.
Bottom line: If you’re expecting premium service to match a premium purchase, don’t go to UAC. Once the sale is done, so is their interest in treating you with any sort of respect or care. I won’t be back.

Online scheduling makes for a simple and quick process especially when sitting at work remembering you need to schedule an oil change. I live in the county over and the customer service alone is worth the drive in comparison with the local/closer places I’ve went to before.

Excellent service department! I got right in without an appointment! I was given a ride home while the shop diagnosed my problem and they were able to find a discontinued part for my airbag sensory impact system in my 2005 Chevy pickup! Friendly staff and briefly chatted with one of the owners, DJ Thomas!

Our previous experience 5 years ago was 5 star. Today, not so much. We told the sales person how much we were willing to pay for the desired car and wished if our offer wasnt close, he would just have told us and not wasted our time and his. He was friendly enough, but insulting in how he was trying to get us to pay more for the car. We bought a car later that day elsewhere.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
