My husband and I visited the Maui location for Faucet and plumbing supplies.
I would like to recognize associate name Buck for his knowledge and help and so pleasant to deal with.

I purchased an LG refrigerator just over two months ago, and it has already broken down. When I inquired about the issue, I was informed that I could only return it within 24 hours, they let call LG customer service and they even don’t want to help it. That’s ridiculous service . The salesperson never mentioned anything about insurance, and it feels like I've just wasted over $1,000.

Aloha! I was at your store maybe almost an hour ago because I lost my car key and if any of the associates cared, I just found it! I just wanted to thank everyone from the front to the back of the store for all of their help in finding my car key. Everyone was not only helpful, but very comforting. Mahalo for all that you do!

We had the best customer service when shopping yesterday at Home Depot. Angel was a tremendous help and he went above and beyond assisting us with a home project we were planning on doing. Big Mahalo!!

I just wish they’d let you ship to store the same deals they offer the mainland. I understand there’s an extra cost for shipping, but it isn’t the $100+ disparity between here and there when you’re always bringing in mass products.

This location has bad customer service. Went in to buy a sander, the elderly man that worked in the power tools section retrieved a sander with major damage to the box. When I asked for another one that’s in better condition, he refused and said it’s the same.
I had to ask another associate to get me another one.

Went in another time to try and order the new Ryobi pressure washer for auto detailing. The customer service representative didn’t even want to try and help me when I asked why it’s not available at this location.

Just want to Review one of the Home Depot
Employee as everyone here is Respectable andb helpfull. I will Mention Kaitlyn G.. as she is always perfect on customer service.
I own a small business here on Maui and would hire her in a minute.. .hopefully they get a raise for there dedication.. thanks for letting mime share

DO NOT DO CURBSIDE PICKUP IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY. The staff, all the way up to the manager Jose, is undertrained and lack basic customer service skills. After waiting in my car for my curbside order for 30 minutes I had to go inside to get my ONE item. Not only was the curbside person missing, the other employee stated he was on his 2nd week and had no idea what was going on. I asked him to radio for a manager and he kindly did. The manager never came until I called the store and asked him to come out. It then took him 10 minutes to log in, go back and forth from the holding area to the computer. He couldn't find the item that was "ready for pick up" nor was the employee anywhere to be found. After all this is just went to the isle grabbed my item and left. This was the absolute worse experience and yes, I was visibly and verbally upset, I still had an hour drive home and my groceries were just sitting in my car and my daughter was now fussy. Truly disappointing.

In the past 2 months we bought 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves & a Whirlpool washer/dryer set. The washer didn’t make it through the 1st load of laundry. Home Depot refused to take it back because 48 hours had passed since we picked it up. Forcing us to go through Whirlpool with the manufacturer warranty. It has been over a month and a technician still hasn’t come to look at it to tell us if it can be fixed or if they will give us an authorization to return it to Home Depot! Don’t buy appliances from Home Depot!

Never any deals on tools the mainland has. Especially when it comes to batteries I know Home Depot is the bigger company but somehow Ace Hardware seems to be able to have deals shipped to you that Home Depot can't even have delivered to the store or to someone in person. Otherwise they're packed out selection and pricing is okay for Hawaii

My favorite thing about shopping here is waiting over 15 minutes for the 5th time in a row for my curbside pickup only to go inside and have customer service tell me to my face “we didnt get any curbside notifications” and have my name be the first AND ONLY one on the list for curbside when they open their app. My second favorite thing is having to go back outside to grab a cart and load, carry, and roll my order outside to the parking lot myself with a bad shoulder while they stand there and watch me. Fix your system home depot.

Went to the store on 8/31/24 to return an item and had excellent service from Kelly.so pleasant .it was a pleasure to talk with her.wish there were more people like her is this world. So kind .she was so fast and efficient even helping other workers out.Great job Kelly

I am usually a regular customer that comes in to home depot and usually has great serivce, but i just got off waiting for someone to answer the phone at 8:45pm, 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to answer the damn phone, that’s terrible usually i get an answer in the afternoon but for me to wait 15 minutes i know someone is working at night. that is just ridiculous

I’ve been a fan of this store for years and have recently preferred Lowe’s due to its better customer service. I live in Lahaina and just recently spent thousands to redo our home. Lia (I believe her name is in the windows dept) was very helpful, the customer service agents always are, but the rest that walk the floor really miss their mark. Dont even get me started with trying to get in touch with someone over the phone to get any information or file a complaint.

The flooring department is the reason for this review. It was a simple 12x12 foot room that we wanted to carpet so we picked it out and awaited for a measurement to be confirmed and a quote. Let’s just say it’s been far from a simple quote and install so I’m just going to save my time and energy and go to Lowe’s or somewhere that doesn’t try to literally turn away business and send you the wrong quotes then decides to not give you a complete quote for the job further frustrating you.

It’s sad that a few can ruin it for all who work so hard and take pride in what they do and where they work. I tried calling on 4 separate occasions and got through once to the operator then no answer in the dept I was trying to contact. So if you need things to grab and go, this place is fine. If you need any sort of communication and expect customer service, go elsewhere.

If it wasn’t for the fact that they carry Milwaukee, I’d never shop here. They stock the shelves with returned items without confirming that ALL parts are returned. When you do come to the store to get it addressed, the reps at customer service are both rude and incompetent. Also, never get a propane exchange here. You’ll be waiting for 30 minutes to unlock the cage just to tell you that they’re out of propane. The Lowe’s in town has better quality control, cleanliness and customer service.

Worst experience buying an appliance here, from the order being written to the delivery and installation.

First, the order was written incorrectly, so I ended up spending 2 hours in their customer service line. Then, another hour in the store while they were on the phone trying to activate my credit account. It took 3 people. Item delivered by total idiots, who stacked the dryer about 2-3 inches out over the washer. They INSISTED this was correct, despite my concern. I contacted LG, who assured me it was indeed installed incorrectly. I tried to call Home Depot the next day, but they wouldn't answer their phone. I went to the store, waited 45 minutes. Explained thr situation, the sales assistant just kept yelling at me for letting the installation people leave. I was like... what was I supposed to do? They insisted it was right. If the professionals can't get it right, what am I supposed to do? And I came back within the specified 48 hours. He told me he could get another appointment but couldn't make it for any specific date. Demanded that I gave him a phone number where I would 100% be guaranteed to answer as they would be coming in a half hour and charge me $79 if I wasn't there. But he couldn't even tell me if it would happen in a week, what day. So I'm supposed to sit around for days on end waiting for somebody to call me? No. He was mad at me when I told him this was impossible, that he was trying to help me, but I wasn't "working with him." They expect me to answer immediately, can't even nail it down to a specific day, yet can't answer their phone at all? Oh yeah, and he repeatedly asked me for my husband's phone number. I dont have one, shouldnt need one to buy a washer. Absurd. Finally, the manager came, straightened things out. Total spent another 2 hours at Home Depot. Had another crew come out to fix it. Let's just say it took 3 hours because they didn't know what they were doing. I had to look it up on YouTube for them, and I'm just some dumb broad. Somewhere in the process, my door jam was scratched up, I noted this on a form but have not been contacted about it almost a month later. And I know they know they saw it. I don't think it's really balanced correctly either, but I don't care. The whole experience was so awful, I just hate looking at my new laundry set or using it because it brings up this whole traumatic buying experience.

Do not. Ever. Buy an appliance here. I hear that other places on Maui aren't much better now, but I'd chance any of them before coming here again as I can not phathom how it could be much worse. I got a fridge from their major competitor about 2 years ago with no incident whatsoever.

Honestly, I've been to this Home Depot many times, and I've never had a problem here. No hassle returns, fast self-checkout, easy online orders and pickups, the app is useful for finding items, and all that. Employees have always been friendly and helpful.

2024 update. 5+ years later they have automated machines for checkout but doesn't help the line at all. Customers are always confused where to stand, some cut, and the line is long. First review was a 4 star experience now it's a 3 star. Clean store and friendly staff. Prices a bit high than mainland and ordering online with direct shipping will get you better prices on some items. If you don't mind waiting.
