Found associate Mari at the Home Depot Keene, NH to be knowledgeable, very helpful, polite and pleasant even on a hot/humid day when the store was busy and more than one guest required her assistance at key making and checkout area. Thank you, Mari -- 5/5 ****

The most helpful Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Everyone asked if I needed help finding things. One particularly helpful young man even loaded my cart, looked up a product, and helped me out to my truck. Thank you!

Aisle were all closed or closing at 8pm. Several staff were rude about us shopping. Was unable to complete list of needs due to shutdown of aisles. Garden department was excellent, lady in hardware aisle was lovely. Two other staff were rude about us needing to shop. We arrived at 8pm store closed at 9 pm. If you are going to close at 8pm internally post that. Aisles crowded with products to put up. About 10 staff standing around, seems to have a management issue. Maybe do restock when closed, with some of the staff who are just chatting. Split the staff into 2 shifts to be more efficient and productive. So as to allow customers to shop effectively during open hours. The small hardware store you can hand a list and staff will assist, some of Home Depot employees are this way. Maybe train more staff in this skill.

One of the best Home Depot stores ice ever been to. The garden center alone is better than most anywhere else, and the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable too. Return person that assisted me was top notch... wish I could remember her name.

Alexis- Costumer Service

I was treated with contempt by her because I needed to make a payment on my professional account and it was Sunday. And she didn't want to help me and sent me to other sectors and I went to other desks and they said that only she could make my payment on the professional account because it was Sunday. When I got there she said that she couldn't help me and left me waiting for 2 hours until another person from her sector helped me! It didn't seem like she wanted to work and she didn't care much about me.

Five stars for Dana, the Irish man and the man with the Chevy forearm tattoo. They were like the Avengers teaming up to gameplan how to tackle my basement lean. Minus one star for the horrible WiFi that never works, forcing me to bug an associate who is busy helping other people or relieving the long cashier lines. Fix it !!!

What a disappointment. Paid for a lawn tractor and was guaranteed delivery the following day when I needed it. I received a text the next day telling me my order was rescheduled. I contacted the number given and was connected with a person who was speaking with the store associates to correct my issue. I was first told that the pallet was damaged. I pointed out that the website showed 35 units at that store. Next I was told the order had been transferred to Greenfield, Mass (?), but that it was now back in Keene. Next, I was told the assembler only came Thursdays, so it would be at least that long. I asked them to send it in the crate and I would have it assembled, and the answer was that they could not send a truck out (3 miles from the store). I cancelled the order on the spot because of the runaround I was getting and purchased the item from a competitor who delivered it the same day. I never thought it would be this difficult to complete a transaction.

Was looking for plant starters and a young gentleman came up to ask if I needed help - he knew zero about plants but he did his best, we were in the same boat. Ended up getting a mess of seeds and greenhouse starter kits, and I just wanted to leave a review about how absolutely wonderful their staff is. From the man singing towards the end of the day(sorry I have horrid eyesight and couldn't see where you were, but you were wonderful) to the gent who did his level best with strawberry and raspberry plants and my incessant questions, to the poor check out lady calmly and politely dealing with impatient and rude customers behind me while the pay system rebooted... I see all of you. You're fantastic folks.

DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT IF YOU LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND.

bought a dishwasher that was delivered on December 7th 2024 and paid for the installation fee and apparently if you lived in certain state in new england they still do a “Two Step” delivery and installation.
they kept calling me and telling me that the installation would be within the next day and i had been in contact with HOME DEPOT APPLIANCE customer service and they had been rescheduling my installation the past 4x and until today it has not been installed. I just got off a 30min call with them again and 90% of that call was ON HOLD. now they promised to come and install it on the 18th of Dec.
it has been a BATTLE with HOME DEPOT!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. they dont value you whatsoever as a customer.

As I've stated multiple times I am a home Depot addict it is one of my favorite stores. On this particular trip I knew exactly what I was after paint for my kitchen cabinets as I had recently used a rustoleum cabinet transformation kit that I was extremely unhappy with. I strongly encourage you to do your research before using such a kit as the full-size kit runs$199.00 which is what I purchased. The gentleman working in the paint department was older which excited me, I assumed increased knowledge. I inquired a minimum of six times about the exact color of my kitchen walls as I purchased the paint at home Depot. I inquired so many times as every time he would not look it up in the computer. Why do I maintain a home Depot account with all my projects and were all my purchases are stored if I can't get an employee to simply verify the color of my kitchen walls. That verification was leading to my purchase of more paint. I explained what I needed for a base paint and headed down the aisle only to discover that the employee had actually taken off. I spent a little under 2 hours with no assistance from this employee. I climb the racks to obtain a certain base unfortunately I had worn a brand new white shirt on that got covered in filth. When I returned to the paint counter it was due to the store closing and it took me 30 minutes to receive assistance. After 15 minutes I was able to speak with two employees at the customer service desk and the individual shopping was me had actually gone over to the checkout to ask them to pay someone to assist me. When the disappearing employee, to my dismay returned, he was unable to answer my questions. With each question I became more upset as he was doing nothing with his computer where he would find my answers. Something is up with the paint department at home Depot and I find it very upsetting all other areas of the store I've received excellent service. As stated in a previous review I purchased three cans of a certain gray colored paint in Bear Marquee. The three cans were for one project and stored in the computer so no issue when I went back in because I needed more. Absolutely wrong none of the three cans matched. I ended up leaving home Depot with nothing that I went into purchase because this employee walked away rather than assisted me. That was a $200 sale home Depot did not get. I did purchase a shower curtain that was clearanced I just grabbed it and left had to check out the young lady was fantastic. I admit I never checked the size of the shower curtain but when I got home it fit perfectly and I happen to have had a can of paint I will go great with it so doing the bathroom. In my checkout process I was blown away that the gentleman from the paint department actually walked up to me and I was speaking of my experience. Nothing fowl or hurtful just the lack of assistance and the letdown. I turn to the gentleman and said I just need the night to think about it get myself together and I will come back tomorrow and get what I want. I almost fell over when he said Great I'll be here tomorrow, what?! Guess what I did not go to home Depot the following day if this gentleman was going to attempt to provide me a service at home Depot again it's going to take more than 24 hours from me to be able to let him attempt to fulfill this sale.

Home Depot is my go-to for home improvement needs. The store is well-organized, with a great selection and helpful staff. However, staff can be difficult to access during busy times. Despite this, it’s a reliable spot for DIY projects and repairs at decent prices. They also have a great selection of Christmas trees and holiday decorations.

UPDATE,..... DONT BUY ACS HERE, SECOND ONE, FIRST DIED IN A WEEK, SECOND ONE JUST BLEW UP IN MY KIDS WINDOW. RIDICULOUS

tarting to go down hill. Always stuff in the aisle, parts not where they are supposed to be, never all the parts available for a job. And why can't I use my pro perks, because when you go on there website using there wifi to get on the perks page to scan the bar code, what do you get......"oops sorry, we are fixing that page" Why give out perks to people who spend alot of money here if you don't let us use them.

Bought a grill here today. A Trager Pro 34 and I'll tell you what that grill is one heavy S.O.B. Either that or I'm just getting old. Or a combination of both. Daryl Smith was sent out to assist me with the grill and I have to say that he is a tremendous help and a very respectful and professional team player. Thank you for the great conversation

Manager Patrick and this evenings staff came up with a quick and effective solution for a potentially hazardous situation I found myself in. It's too bad that staff members who are dedicated to great customer service do not get these star ratings individually, if they did, the entire team of cashiers, customer service associates, and management
would be lit up. They really went above and beyond to help, which makes me feel good considering the amount of money I have a habit of spending here. Kudos to all.

I love this location overall! The staff is usually very helpful and friendly, there are never long lines for checkout when I go, it’s just a good experience overall.

Tonight I went about an hour before closing for something urgent. I was waiting to pay in the Garden section behind a couple that was taking a while. The associate, a stocky young man with dark hair, looked at me several times but didn’t say anything at all. After 4 minutes of patiently waiting, he tells me I need to go across the entire store to checkout because he’s closing up. His tone was pretty rude considering what he was telling me and how he had let me wait there first. Maybe he’s new. Maybe he had a bad day. But I was pretty surprised to encounter that when the other associates have been so friendly.

Jen & Debbie are just about the sweetest women I have ever met. I went through self checkout and had not had the forethought to grab a basket when I first arrived in the store. They could see I was struggling with all of my items and both came over to help me. They even held my items behind their counter because I went back to get something. You could tell they both took extreme pride in their work. The experience left me feeling uplifted and genuinely happy. They were so nice to talk to and so helpful. Good job Home Depot hiring such amazing employees!

Patrick saved me, I have a 5 month old and a 6 year old. at 6:30 my generator died, I called Keene and they said they had 4 of the size I needed. When I arrived at 7:15 they didn’t have it. He called Manchester and I was able to send my mother in law to grab it but due to the circumstances she wouldn’t make it before 8pm when they closed, they stayed late because Patrick called and make it known I needed it for my kids. He is an absolutely amazing manager, made it right and had my back and I am so incredibly grateful. He proved tonight that even though I have been given multiple obstacles in the last month that there are still good people out there. He deserves a raise. THANK YOU PATRICK

Altho this store deffiently needs more employees, the employees that are their do an awesome job of spending the time you need for your questions. i also want to thank Mike in Appliances for all his help. Another person that needs recognition in Appliances is Paula. Paula will spend the time going over the differences of the brands and help with any questions . She goes above and beyond to help and never makes you feel rushed. Thru her being so helpful i have purchased at HD and not another store, a washer, refrigerator and now an electric range. Thank you for having such a knowledgeable employee..thank you Paula

Home Depot, is what it is. Not your local hardware shop, but you can get just about anything you could need for a project. The employees are reasonably experienced/trained.

Keene store is much better than the Londonderry store. Same product, same layout, but the store in Keene has a much better store manager.
