The Home Depot - Palatka, FL

I recently visited Home Depot to purchase paint for a horse rescue project and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service I received. An employee named Nicole assisted me, and her patience and professionalism stood out from the moment we began speaking. As someone with little to no knowledge about paint, I truly appreciated the time she took to explain everything in detail and guide me through the entire process. She also went above and beyond to ensure that the final selection fit within my budget. Nicole is a remarkable asset to Home Depot, and her dedication to customer satisfaction deserves recognition.

Best box store.. If I don't sell some houses soon you may see me there in a little orange apron running from customers

Went in the store the other day and there was this very cute girl working in the paint department. Her name was Charity. She was very helpful and sweet

Every time we shop there, you have to wait and interrupt the employees from talking amongst themselves. They don’t acknowledge the customer until you interrupt them. Then they always seem unhappy about having to help you. Just happened again the other day. I will continue to go to Lowe’s. They acknowledge their customers first and gossip later.

The older gentleman that helped me today was very kind and very helpful. I hope I come across him again

First batch of windows ordered were received with numerous scratches, apparently from being roughly handled somewhere along the way. We decided to add another window and ordered it from HD as well. Carolyn in Windows/Doors was extremely helpful and patient building and placing both orders. However, when I picked up the additional window, it too was severely scratched and part of the exterior seal was damaged. Michelle in customer service was very responsive to my complaint, immediately got the manager (Becky) involved, and they were able to resolve to my satisfaction with an appropriate discount, and with a very good attitude. I would order there again.
Giving 4 stars vs 5, only because the cause of the problem wasn't corrected in the meantime. (Maybe some training/closer supervision needed for staff who handle special-order window that take 5-6 weeks to arrive.) Michelle/Becky are 5-star though, and the sole reason I will keep shopping there!

I typically shop at Home Depot for building materials. I went in to purcase a handfull of items and found 2 of them were not available or not even sold there, so I ordered them online from another vendor. I then went to purchase a small piece of indoor outdoor rug. There was a repair person finishing up a repair on the cutter. He called for a person to help us and even set our rug up for the cut. The employee was eventually flagged down as he didnt respond. He then stated the machine was not working, despite the repair and he would check back. The repair guy did a couple more adjustnents based in the employees statement. The employee never showed, so we left the store to go across the street to "the other " home improvement store. We observed the employee hanging out chatting with other employees.
Upon walking into the other stores carpet area we were greeted and asked if we needed help. The carpet was cut within minutes. I know where to go now!

It's getting ridiculous with the self check out. I was having a problem and they treat you like you're in a training class. I didn't apply for a job nor was I being paid to be in training. Don't try to teach me how to do your job! Just help!! I'm over it and switching to Lowe's as my primary store.

Home Depot Suns me a coupon code for up to $200 because I just moved in to a new home, then they probably treated me like crap after I placed a pro order. Spent hours trying to get the order fulfilled, ended up going there in person and they had none of the materials that I had already ordered and paid for 4 days previous coupon expired, wasted 4 hours of my time, ended up buying the materials at Lowe's

I was assisted quickly and found what I was looking for. The store attendant was polite and helpful. I will continue shopping at this home Depot

Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. The store is very well stocked as always. Even when I was loading my car and being in my seventies sometimes it's a little hard. Another customer came over to the car and helped finish the loading. Overall home Depot an awesome experience.

The employees are very helpful! They are actually walking around looking for someone to help. I have to say that there is one young lady that went the extra mile to deliver me the absolute best service Victoria is Amazing. We had a very large order that could have been a long unpleasant experience but she jumped in and got us taken care of quickly and efficiently.

This place has gone down hill. The lumber sold here is not worth the price. The last few times we have come here has gotten worse and worse but today topped it. While gathering lumber, multiple employees walked by and watched and NONE asked if they could help, including the boy at the far end playing on his phone. I'll go the extra length to Lowes.

I'm not too happy with all this process to buy a countertop of my kitchen, because one person came first to measure the kitchen, then second person came again to measure, and now another 3 person came and still wrong. Now I have to wait another week for those measure, this is ridiculous way too long. I thought that gonna be done for this coming holiday I had a birthday party , so I cancel , because is not done yet. For some reason the seller and the scheduler don't communicate and been going on , way too long, I wish , I can cancel the order.
