The Home Depot - Rochester, NH

I purchased an item online for a store pickup. The next day I went to the Rochester store and retrieved my purchase from the lockers in the lobby. As usual, the locker door popped open as soon as it scanned the barcode on my phone.

I shop at Home Depot all the time I'm usually there a few times a day getting materials for my jobs the people at the pro desk are excellent they're always willing to help

How many times do I have to update there extended warranty people with the same receipt they keep telling me I have to send it this is the fifth time getting really upset starting to think Lowe’s protection plans are so much easier I just want my dishwasher to work right and get it fixed

After much going back and forth they finally found my extended warranty but only took the warranty people 3 weeks and multiple times submitting it and it’s score repair but it should t have been that difficult to do

I noticed that Home Depot carries a feeder that is considered a squirrel proof feeder the name of it is the Perky Pet Squirrel b gone that has metal leaves that slide down to cover the access to the seeds but the metal leaves can easily be bent by the squirrels thus allowing them access. I know because I purchased one and had to return it as it was guaranteed to deter squirrels,it does not!

The few times that I have dealt with this The Home Depot has been good. since moving back into this area this The Home Depot at least act like they care about their jobs. I also used this Home Depot 20yrs ago for all sorts of items even to buy a furnace for job I had going on in Derry NH. At that time there was no Londonderry NH The Home Depot and the other ones wouldn’t sell me a furnace even though I know what I’m doing when it comes to installing a furnace and heating devices.
These guys deserve a thumbs up in Rochester NH.

Home Depot has been excellent throughout the process of my deck planning and building. The staff there: in particular, a young lady named Jaylin have taken me through the process of working with timber Tech /Azek In organized, the ordering of the many materials needed in constructing a very large deck in my home. The process can be very convoluted and it was very important to get returned phone calls, and meet appropriate deadlines. For these reasons and others, including proximity to the job site, timely delivery, and focused PRODESK service, I feel extremely well-served with the competitive pricing and quality materials supply by this Home Depot store.

I take time to go to the store to compare some Milwaukee packout items. I ask customer service for someone to help me because it says they have the items I want to look at but they aren’t accessible without a ladder. They find someone quickly. The items have been incorrectly stocked on the shelves so they are on pallets up top. I’m told “I really don’t want to shut an aisle down so you can look at them.” I wouldn’t even have needed assistance if someone would have done their job right to start with.

There's usually a handful of employees that can't really tell you what a hex bolt is, but hey, we all start somewhere. The cull pile is usually pretty strong and much of older (21+) staff is knowledgeable. There's even a super vigilant fellow during the evenings that'll be at your service if you need a sheet of plywood cut, unlike like the old days. They no longer stay open until 10pm and that's why I didn't give them 4 stars.

This Home Depot is outstanding! My daughter had a fantastic time at the well-organized craft activity, which was fun and engaging. The associates were exceptionally helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The store was clean, well-stocked, and made for an efficient shopping trip. Everyone was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Plus, the food truck outside was a great bonus, adding to the overall enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I shop here fairly often, as they sometimes have items that even the supply houses don't have. Price wise, they are very competitive. Sometimes it can be smarter to still shop around, but overall I'm very satisfied with my experiences.

I needed window fans, and they weren't offered at my choice, home improvement store, so I came here.

The product selections are pretty identical, with the exception of store name brand. Ryobi here, Kobalt there.

Help from employees is about the same with perhaps a slight edge going to HD. It really comes down to the individuals working that particular day you visit and not necessarily a differing in company policies.

HD also had a slight edge over the competition in their checkout lines. the process is more convenient, and the machines are more intuitive to use.

HD also offers a discount for veterans, and their process for applying that discount is more convenient than with the competition.

I registered for the military discount several months ago. When I shop online it applies the military discount. When I shop in the store it states customer not found. The person at the self-checkout was no help and directed me to customer service. The person at customer service stated that sometimes the phone number does not work and to use the qr code. I said that I do not want to clog up my mobile phone with a lot of apps.

I called customer support, and they stated that the phone number needs to be applied to the military discount section and it would take one to two business days. The people at the store should have known this.

Returned a 1/4 gallon of custom green paint from last year.
The paint was not deck paint but the salesperson insisted the brand was.
I brought back the entire paint peeled from deck today .
Thr man was rude and said he couldn't take it but I left it. Told him to get a manager. I had bought the proper deck paint last month from a nice young kid in the paint department after prepping deck.
No credit offered for the paint forced upon me in 2023.

Went to make a some keys, 1st time one of the 2 worked. Then after going back, the 2nd one was redone and replaced. Staff was quick to help. Great experience as always.

I put in an on-line order at the Rochester, N H store to be delivered the next day. However, due to problems with the delivery company, the order was delayed. Though it has taken 5 days, the local store handled the problem in a professional manner and has kept me informed as to the status along the way. For that reason, I give the local store 5 stars.

Beware online orders - I ordered supplies for a new deck and the items came from this location. $80 for delivery, which is fine because the items were too big for my car, but so many pieces came broken, cracked in half, or had huge knots in them that made them unusable. I tried to contact customer service and they said I couldn’t do anything besides bring the items to the store, well, the items were too big and that’s why I did delivery to begin with… Very poor quality for online orders, I expected quality and care. This location is also over an hour from me.

Needed salt for the water treatment. Friendly people. I should have asked but it would have been nice to be offered help getting it in my car.

Im truly impressed. I went in search of a 2x4 and a couple of nails and they had exactly what I needed. After wandering around a bit and looking at stuff i didnt need i was able to locate and purchase everything i set out to pick up in the first place.

The employees are always usually help and friendly. Check is very quick ! The rest rooms are always clean every time I've used them.

Did a curbside pick up waited for 25 minutes, called and guy who picked up phone was speaking to someone like how you would answer your personal phone” hello hello”
“Hi yes I have been out here for 24 minutes for my curbside”
Guy pulls phone away from phone
“Somebody in parking lot is mad or something”
Then a store manager or something picked up and they brought out my order
