This dealership went ABOVE and beyond to make sure that we were able to make a deal for the car that we were interested in purchasing. With the teamwork of Hunter and Mark (and others on the back end ) they made a gracious effort to drive us down and back to my handicapped mothers house over an hour away for her to sign the papers as part of our loan as she is barely able to move due to a stroke and wouldn’t have been able to make it in. They had no problem going above and beyond to make sure they completed the sale. The whole staff was kind , patient, and very transparent . They didn’t ignore or refuse to call back like other dealerships they called and communicated what the next options were for qualifying steps for the purchase ! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! We recently leased a 2025 Mazda 3 Hatchback turbo. This was our first leased vehicle so we had alot of questions. Steve was excellent in telling us about all the crazy features and took about 45 minutes after signing to make sure we knew how to access and adjust them. I have been going to Autex Mazda of Keene for all of my service needs on my vehicle and have had a good experience every single time. Every tech has been responsive to my 1000 questions and are always kind and caring. They order and store my tires for me, and I dont even have to lift a finger or google what tires are the best- they do it all for me. It is so nice not having to worry about my car, and knowing it is in the best possible hands!
Recently they solved a problem with my door that a collision center couldn't diagnose in the MONTH they had my vehicle and it took Mazda of keene an hour or less. So thankful for them, THANK YOU!

I test drove on a Thursday evening and drove off with my new vehicle Friday night. Every step of the process was smooth with staff being extremely knowledgeable. As my first car purchase I was very nervous about the process and how difficult everyone warned me it would be. The entire team at Autex (especially Hunter) made this process incredibly efficient and surprisingly fun! As a Midcoast Maine resident, i knew the moment I decided to buy this car that I needed to purchase it at Autex in Keene. Their entire staff is top tier, knowledgeable, trustworthy and genuinely care about their clients. This car buying experience has made me a lifetime Autex Mazda customer and I will never go anywhere else for my car needs! If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle don’t waste your time going anywhere else but Autex in Keene!
I just recently bought a used Mazda. I should have said no because I test driven this car was loaded with dog hair and a complete mess., they cleaned it well and did a great job detailing the inside,but they lied about the price (20.000 for the Mazda, after paying 3500 which is supposed to be 3.500 off the price of the car (20.000) to $16,500. Plus tax of course.what Cody did was add my 3500 to price of the car so now my option is to pay 25,000+ change or bring back the car, but I’ve already signed the contract. By law I can bring it back. He lied straits my face . They’re eager to help yes of course but make sure you get well acquainted with their contract. BE Careful and I am already had minor issues like alignment which they did fix but won’t do anything for the bumper that crack under regular driving conditions and popping out from the frame. Review of what I said the 3500 from the 20.000 should be 16.500 plus the 2300 tax being 18800.00 max they saw me coming a mile away. For new people bring someone well experienced. Don’t be stupid like I was. If they dont rectify this then they’re getting their car back by Wednesday. I don’t like to give bad reviews and honestly I had to rewrite this review and make it as honest as possible. I was too eager been with a car for 7 years and they saw I was in dire need and exploited it. Go with someone if your new to buying a car and if your desperate like I was to get a car even more of a reason to bring someone who not and bring you back from doing something stupid. Update after someone who knew how to read the contract right. I found out the 1st 3years I would be just paying for the loan and interest and then the car. The price over 45 thousand dollars more than twice what the car was worth. 6 years of 614 dollars a month. I got a weird text today wanting me to see if both my keys matched the one he had for the car. The people I was with told me that he shouldn’t even have a 3rd key at all. When I got there. I told him more I read this more I don’t like this deal. He was ready he was going to take the car back after my review. He gave me all the money I did pay but had to take a 90.00 ride taxi home with all my stuff. 1st time buyers be ware. I sure he black balled me from all the dealerships and a life time ban I’m sure. Bring someone you know that won’t be swayed by their eagerness to help you and don’t believe a dam word they say because what will be said and done is a lot different on their contract. Make sure you check car fax and have the car looked at by a professional mechanic.
This is the second vehicle i've purchased at Autex. And just like with my first purchase, the staff was absolutely amazing!! Gretchen and Mark and Steve were absolutely wonderful! Not to mention the incredible guys in the service department! I keep going back because I'm treated like a friend by everyone and not a number. I'm old school and that's very important to me. I live in Nashua, which is 50 miles away from the dealership.There are other dealers that are much closer to where I live, but I would not even consider using them. For customer service that is second to none, I will continue to go to Autex for all of my automotive sales and service needs!
Very pleasant staff. Would have given 5 stars but if they are open for Sales on a Saturday they need to have service staff available to do the NCI (New Car Inspection). This involves various things notably calibrating the LoJack service and it has to be done w/in 2 days so my daughter was not able to drive her new car off the lot. They were kind enough to provide a loaner but she had to come back again to pick up her car a couple of days later (40 minute drive for her). Bottom line - if you’re looking to buy on a Saturday make sure they can do the NCI while you’re there.
If you are looking for a Mazda look no further. The dealership is beautiful and the people that work there are so friendly. Hunter my sales professional was so knowledgeable, genuine, and polite; I felt so comfortable and respected through out the whole process. His true passion and enthusiasm for cars made this an experience that exceed all my expectations. I got to meet the owner Tom too , also just a solid great guy! I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a car, and can't say enough how happy I am with my experience at Autex Mazda.
Lousy dealership screwed us good sold us a car that was in an accident never said anything car is now in the shop getting transmission worked on 50,000 miles and needs transmission work already sky high interest rate payments they knew we couldn't afford but we were stuck without a vehicle so they took advantage supposed to have a warranty nope screwed us on that also buyer beware worst dealership ever looking into sewing them for what they did to us
I did an online appraisal of a vehicle I am trying to sell through Kelly Blue Book. Autex called me numerous times to schedule an in person appraisal on the vehicle since they are linked with KBB. I agree to schedule an appointment. The day of the appointment I left work early to make the 1h30m drive one way down to Keene. When I arrived at the dealership they took my info and my keys to go check out the vehicle. They returned moments later only to tell me that “a vehicle of this age with this amount of miles isn’t something that we want to keep on our lot”. When they knew what I was bringing down to them. Very disappointed, as nobody should have to deal with this type of customer service (or lack there of), or have their time wasted like so. Would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.
Went in to look at a used vehicle. The price was over $3,000 more than both JD power and KBB said it should be. Car also had rust forming along the quarter panel and under carriage. Initial sales rep was nice enough and understanding, which is the only reason I’m not giving 1 star. But the gentleman I met with after him, I believe his name was Mark, was extremely unpleasant to deal with. I showed him all the flaws in the vehicle I was interested in, asked if he would come down on the price to something more reasonable like what the average price was and he was completely dismissive. He told me my car that I was currently driving was worth less than a dollar, told me it was a ticking time bomb simply due to the make of it and the fact that it had 150k miles on it. Very rude and unprofessional, will not be back here.
We have been to Autex several times for vehicles, new and used. Gretchen, Mark and their crew do a great job! They work tirelessly to give the customer their needs but are not pushy like other dealerships. They are friendly and down to earth! A great experience every time!
This was the most hassle free car buying experience I have ever had. The whole process was free of judgement or pushy sales tactics. They were able to register the car across the state line and even gave me a loaner car to do some shopping while I waited for the paperwork to be finalized. This was the 3rd Mazda I have purchased and was by far the best experience
The service department and mechanic's are a great bunch of guys to work with, they keep you in the loop as to what they find and they get you in and out as fast as they can.
Bought a 2023 CPO CX5 from this dealership had a very poor experience overall. In fairness Everyone was respectful and kind throughout the process, even once I started calling them regularly to complain. My main issue is that the car I bought broke twice within 430 miles of owning it. The first of which was a faulty thermostat which is a known issue, and I feel it should have been spotted during the CPO inspection. The second issue was a coolant leak caused by a clip being misplaced on a coolant line. Again, I think this should have been caught during inspection or when my car was in to have the thermostat replaced. I suppose it's possible I got unlucky, but it left a sour taste in my mouth regardless.
This is the only Mazda dealer that I will ever do business with. Every part of my sales process was exceptional and these guys are so transparent.

The staff were pleasant and they were really accommodating with my tight time schedule when I went to purchase the car. Stephen was especially outstanding and even checked in with me a few days after purchase to make sure everything was going well!
This is my 5th Mazda. I purchased others from dealerships in Delaware and Virginia. purchasing my CX 90 from AUTEX was actually a pleasant experience. Cody was a helpful salesman, Gretchen helped us get to a deal we felt was fair. The CX 90 is a new model and had expected small issues, mostly with the complex electronics. Chris, Dave and Tony always took care of these small things, often giving me a loaner car or a ride home while work was being done. The car is great, and the service team made sure everything was adjusted right. I recommend this dealership. I especially like that they just sell Mazdas and do not have multiple dealerships. This makes them focused on customers. Buy your car at AUTEX and you will be happy with the car, buying experience and follow on service. They will even know your name when you work with them.
A great dealership!! Customer service is second to none!! I’ve had four Mazdas and loved each one. I drive a GMC now and they will service it, as they did my Wrangler! Service department, parts department, are great ! Never had an issue!

Really grateful for great service and easy purchase of my Mazda here. Wanted to buy special kind CX-5, was allowed to test drive it on my own, and went through easy process of buying. Really grateful to Gretchen for assistance and Hunter for being courteous and explaining everything in a car (see picture). This place also does meticulously and exceptionally well care of a car before buying: cleaning, making sure everything is well and hassle-free (inspection, windshield wipers, tires, etc.). I just left this dealership. I’ve been looking for a new car for 2 weeks. Been going from dealer to dealer looking at all brands, every make and out there. I’ve dealt with a lot of salesmen and dealers. Hands down Hunter was the best knowledgeable salesman I’ve dealt with and I’ve dealt with a lot. After looking at all the other brands, searching reviews on all I’ve looked at, I found that Mazda was the best fit for me. I tried the CX 5 at another dealer , there were a few things I didn’t like about the cockpit set up- mainly drink holders so I wanted to look at the CX 50 premium, the dealer was pleasant to work with, but not as knowledgeable and friendly as Hunter. The other dealer didn’t have the CX 50 premium and didn’t know when it was coming in. I waited a week and still didn’t know when it was coming in so I called a dealer in Nashua and they said they had one. I told them I was on a tight schedule so told them to have the car ready so I could look at it when I got there. When I got there the car was not ready nor did any salesperson know I was coming. I had to wait for them to go to another lot to get the car and then the car wasn’t the one I called to see and told the salesman what I was looking for. It was a wasted trip and waste of my time and the salesman knew very little about the car. So today I called Autex and told them what I was looking for and the time I’d be there and have it ready. When I arrived Hunter met me at the door, car ready with plate, color, model and everything I asked for. Without hesitation he was able to answer all my questions. Gretchen got all the information on both cars we looked at with all the different financing and Mark explained everything. Very helpful folks. Only reason I didn’t buy the car tonight is couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted the white car or red car, and wanted to read reviews of the dealership. After reading reviews, I find them to be an honest company. Because they leave the good reviews and bad reviews and don’t delete the bad. Hopefully I can make up my mind tonight on the color I want. Thank you to your staff. Update: We were deciding on the white car or the red car: I wanted white, wife wanted red. Guess which one we got. Red! The closing on this car was painless, They explained all the different interest rates, term limits with different amount put down. They gave us all the options of different warranties we could purchase- .full warranties, tire warranties, undercoating etc. BUT didn’t pressure us to by them. They did a great job prepping the car for delivery- Hunter went over everything on the car again. A great experience from start to finish! Will not hesitate to go back for next car! 5 stars!

Kind store sales reps and online sales rep. However, they're not against using deceptive marketing to get you to come on site, even if you're not necessarily close. If you buy online or communicate via email and provide what you're looking for, even if you communicate that the price you are looking for is non-negotiable and ask that the dealer ONLY contact you if they're able to sell at that price (which is what I communicated), expect to come on site and see a price that is significantly higher. I suspect there is poor communication between the email/online sales rep and the in-person sales team, as I personally was not interested in driving so far away unless I could get the deal I was looking for (which I communicated several times. I don't want to waste their time either! The price I wanted was very aggressive but if they knew it wasn't possible, don't ask me to drive an hour to come on site! It's disrespectful). I was quoted lower than expected for my trade-in but that is dealer specific and is understandable; still, the OTD price ignoring trade-in was far different than what I stated I was looking for via email, strictly asking for no negotiation. I recommend not going in person until emailed a specific offer in writing!
I bought my car last November. I had an issue with the engine overheating for some weird reason. I was stranded on 91 south and Road side assistance couldn’t get to me for 2+ hours and they would only take me to Balise. Balise Mazda said it would be at-least a week before they could even look at it.(they were 10 miles away from me). Autex sent a tow truck to come and get me and the car and tow it back to Keene. Awesome service!!!!

There was a minor disagreement over the work that was to be done. The next day I noticed a oil drops and an oil puddle on my 2 year old driveway, not nice. Can't tell me it was an accident. I gave them my 2 cents and will never go there again.
I had a great experience buying a car from Autex Mazda. Hunter was a great salesman. He listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable about all the products. Most importantly he didn't make me feel rushed and was willing to walk me through many different options. I have recommended Autex Mazda to many people.

Unfortunately the negative stigma of car dealerships stands strongly with Autex Mazda. The young car salesman was lovely, but the upper sales personnel were quite the opposite. I drove 1.5hours to test drive a vehicle after a week of forthright communication from me, and as it turns out, I was fed lies from their sales department. They then tried to blame me for not providing information, to which I pulled up the email correspondences, and relayed that I had provided ALL of said information to them days prior to making the trip. It’s sad that people can lack such integrity. I will never purchase from Autex Mazda. Buyers beware!
This was honestly the worst dealership experience of my entire life. This is one of those dealers that advertises a lower price online, and then when you arrive they increase the price with “add-ons” like protective seat coating that increased the cost by nearly $1000. after driving 2 hours to see this car I was disappointed to see the price was not as advertised. When I asked the sales manager (I can’t remember his name) if there was anything that could be done about those add ons, he told me to close my eyes so I wouldn’t see those line items. Quite frankly, unprofessional, and comments like that throughout our discussion made me feel like he did not want to sell me the car.
I also brought my vehicle to see about trading it in. I handed Hunter, a sales consultant, my keys so they could get the necessary info, and I took their car for a test drive. When I returned we discussed trade in on my car, and the sales manager said “we can’t give you much because your dash is lit up like a Christmas tree .” This was news to me. When I drove my car there it was totally without issue, and then after handing them my keys and going on a 20 minute test drive, my car was showing all sorts of error codes?
So I asked what happened, and Hunter insisted that when he got in my car, the warning lights came up on start up. However he also told me he drove my car, and that when he was done, he disconnected my battery to try to clear the faults. This makes no sense to me. If he really did see all those warning lights upon turning my car on, he should have immediately informed me of an issue. He should not have driven my car after seeing those warning lights. And there is no reason anyone should touch the battery on a customers personal vehicle who is not there for a service, without at the very least asking them about it first. At best this sounds like incompetence, and at worse it sounds very suspicious. This disappointed me because outside of this, Hunter was very knowledgeable and passionate about the MX-5 I test drove.
I went out to my car to see if there were warning lights on my dash, and sure enough they were there. So I went back inside to try to get more information, so I could at the very least try to diagnose the issue. I was greeted again by the sales manager, and when I asked him about it he just told me that I’m very unlucky. Hunter still said those lights were on when he started the car. They wouldn’t give me any further information.
I don’t want to accuse anyone of foul play or even of accidentally causing a problem with my car. But I hope you understand that from my perspective, my car was totally fine when I arrived, I handed the keys over and left for 20 minutes, and when I returned I had tons of error codes displayed on my dash. Even so, if I am unlucky and my car happened to throw those errors on start up, again, my car SHOULD NOT have been driven, and my battery SHOULD NOT have been disconnected. And finally, when I went back in looking for more information, the sales manager again treated me very unprofessionally, and I did not receive any additional details to help me with my issue. I had to drive my car home with the variety of warning lights and bring it to another dealership for a diagnosis. The VW dealership I went to says there is likely no issue with my car, and that the warning lights likely came from the battery being disconnected.
I am extremely disappointed with the service here, especially because I really did enjoy my test drive and would have loved to purchase the car. I am not only disappointed with this dealership, but to be honest am turned off of Mazdas in general because of this. I did enjoy speaking with Hunter at first as he knew a lot about the car I was looking at and was very excited to share his information, but too many things went wrong with the evaluation of my trade in. The other sales manager was generally unpleasant to speak with and I wish he had been more professional. Overall, this was a nightmare of a dealership experience and I will never consider another car from here again.
Chris in the parts department is phenomenal. I often call for quotes and advice with my car as I am a mechanic myself and tend to do a lot if my own work, and Chris is always willing to help out in any way he can. Very informative and clear and goes out of his way to make sure you are all set.

I recently purchased a Mazda CX-50 from Autex Mazda in Keene. My salesman, Hunter Bogar was very informative and easy to work with. After driving the car for a week I realized I had a Bluetooth connection issue that I couldn't figure out by myself. Hunter created a video for me explaining how to fix the issue which was caused by me not being very fluent in tech. I bought the car as an out of state company vehicle and between Hunter and Bridgette who obtained who my registration and worked with my insurance company, purchasing the vehicle was a pleasant experience. I recommend them for anyone thinking of buying a Mazda.

Made appointments and plans and they did not hold up their side. Explained my entire situation and they agreed to a time and then backed out. Service department said I was confused. I explained why they were wrong and I was told how they can only fit one car in at a time. They just changed the subject and did not answer my question. If you go there, I'd make back up plans because you my be waiting or not seen.
I bought my second Mazda from Autex this fall. I bought my CX-30 in 2021 from Gretchen and had a great experience with her. She listened to everything I needed and gave me my options with no pressure. This year, I still loved my CX-30 but wanted more space. Bought a Honda Pilot, didn't like it. Everywhere I went I saw Mazdas and missed mine. Tried to buy a CX-90 from another dealership in my hometown but the salesperson ghosted me. Ended up going back to Gretchen (should have started there with her) and she and Cody put me in my CX-50 Turbo. LOVE IT! Mark set me up with great financing and extras I needed. I just got a nail in my new tire - my local dealership couldn't fit me in for a couple of weeks. Called Autex service, they fit me right in, gave me a loaner and fixed it in an hour. I'll be going to them for service instead of my local dealership - I wouldn't go anywhere else! :)
Bought a used 2019 CX-5 from these guys. I don't live in the area so I asked very specific questions regarding the condition of the vehicle, especially about the engine and transmission since it had higher than usual miles (100k+). I was told the vehicle still "drives like new." Immediately upon driving the vehicle after it was delivered, I noticed a jerk in the transmission on the 1 to 2 shift, and the 2 to 3 shift. I had the vehicle inspected and there is no fix; it will need a new transmission to alleviate this issue. Not only was the dealership not honest with me, they tried to cover the issue by performing a transmission computer flash prior to sending the car to me (noted on maintenance paperwork in the vehicle). I am extremely disappointed.
About your reply - Yes, I sent my own inspector and he obviously missed the problem. That doesn't change the fact that the car had an obvious, substantial issue that you guys failed to disclose.
“We’ll have it done in a week.” A week later, “We’ll have It done in two weeks.” 2 weeks later, three weeks later…More than a month later—and then THEY get snippy with ME and dare to lecture me on patience and courtesy??? Oh no.
Meanwhile, the car STILL isn’t done.
Yeah, save yourself the headache. Go somewhere—anywhere! Else.

EXCEPTIONAL dealership, service department and employees. Always a pleasure to see Gretchen (our original salesperson). She is extremely knowledgeable and goes way beyond the duties of her job to offer any help or answer questions. The service department and personnel also very helpful and attentive to our questions. We were very surprised to receive a video of our car explaining services performed. We have never experienced this level of car service anywhere. We live 1+ hour away and it is well worth the drive to receive this exceptional service.
Friendly people, I'd recommend them for most work..although I took my Miata in for a misfire, they told me my car was running rich and blamed it on my exhaust saying it didn't have a catalytic converter...but I have two, one upstream and one downstream. I also let them know the issue started before my exhaust swap but it's not a huge deal.
The Service Department was surprisingly good. Mazda cars need very little maintenance, so I have been able to get away with only using this dealership for a few warranty items for the past few years.
I have been going to this dealer off and on for many years through multiple owners and before they stated selling Mazda.
I used their service department for various cars that I owned and I had such a good experience with them that I eventually purchased a Mazda 6 from them (which is a pretty spectacular car for the money). I continued using the Service Department to work on my older cars but the service manager was replaced and the quality and attitude plummeted.
This [previous] service manager had his own ideas of what a customer wanted and would ignore the customer's requests or needs, and their mechanics would misdiagnose problems.
They are on a NEW Chapter now.
Well they surprised me. New staff, new attitude, and I am a happy customer. They diagnosed what I requested, they FOUND the problem, they fixed it at a reasonable price. The desk interface person actually creates a video that takes you out to the car and shows you what they found, texts it to you so you can approve it, and THEN calls on the phone if you don't reply because you were busy and didn't see it. What a difference!
I'm very pleased and will once again start using Autex Service again.
Bonus feature:
In the service area, watch for the video that was made years ago (during the previous manager's tenure) that promotes their "rust-proofing service". It shows the mechanic working under a pickup truck and happily spraying the SPARE TIRE with undercoating without even a thought of dropping the tire to spray the body where the rust actually happens. All you can think of when you watch it is that poor pickup owner might get a flat tire on a dark stormy night, and have to struggle to release his spare because of the serious rust on the mechanism above the tire and when he finally DOES get the tire down, he can mount it and find out what it is like to drive on a tire that is heavily coated with vegetable oil. Slip-sliiiddin'-awaaaay....

My girlfriend drives a 2013 Mazda CX-9 that she purchased from Autex Mazda of Keene. The vehicle has just over 100k miles.
The vehicle was having intermittent ignition issues at the beginning of November 2022.
Brought it to Autex for repair because 1) she purchased the vehicle there, so we anticipated good treatment and 2) they are Mazda specialists.
Autex replaced the starter, and said that the positive lead from the battery was corroded. Charged us $543.70 on November 4th for diagnostics and repairs. Fine. Great. Didn't seem like a starter issue, but they are the experts. We drove off hoping all was well.
On Monday, 12/5/2022, THE EXACT SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN. Made an appointment at Autex for 12/12/2022, and dropped the car off on 12/7/2022 after getting it to start.
Diagnostic evaluation took 4 full days (with the only updates on the car coming from me hounding them), and they recommended replacing the driver's side Blind Spot Monitoring unit (at a cost of $1,150).
I asked if they can disengage that one unit. They said that they cannot (due to safety/potential legal reasons), but that I could unplug it on my own. Great, no problem.
We went to pick up the vehicle, and they charged $535.50 for:
- Checking codes,
- Opening a hotline case with Mazda,
- Figuring out that unplugging the faulty BMH unit would resolve the issue
So we have now paid Autex:
$543.70 (for diagnostics & a new starter that didn't fix the problem)
+ $535.50 (Diagnostics, round 2, but no fix)
That's a total of $1,079.20 spent at Autex Mazda of Keene for this issue, and I am the one who unplugged the faulty unit to resolve the problem.
I called to request an adjustment on the most recent charge, and was told that a manager would call me back. Nobody called back, even after I left a voicemail yesterday kindly requesting a conversation about the charges.
My girlfriend is going to need a new vehicle soon, and we will never spend another dime at Autex Mazda of Keene.

My girlfriend received a call from Autex looking for me after I posted this review. She provided the caller with my phone number (which is something they have used & confirmed several times before this point). I never received a call or message.
I called the number listed in Paul's response below on 12/30/22, and the extension provided eventually landed me in the voicemail of someone named Chris. I left a message stating who I am, and left my number........ again........ And still no interaction.

THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM IS BACK WITH THE CAR. All dash lights are on when running, and now the car won't start. So we spent $1,079 for absolutely nothing.
Very friendly staff!…until you sign paperwork, then the rudest, most unprofessional people to work with. Will take advantage of first time car buyers by sugar coating the good and leaving out the bad, and of course flat out lying to you. But what else can you expect from a car dealership? Hopefully you have experience buying cars so you can tell them how to do their job correctly
Hands down WORST car buying experience ever.
Don't go here if: you're a person of color, a woman or a human in general. Do not go here. When you think of a stereotypical snake of a car salesmen, this is where they are bred from. I've been holding off on writing this review; will add more later.
Friendly staff and knowledgeable service techs and service writers. No salestax on parts. Lower labor rates. Usually no.wait for service.
