Do not go with them! Very disappointed! They increased the price after second estimate. They broke my tile floor when they installed. They didn’t fix it and they don’t want to pay for hiring someone else to fix it. They said they could only offer me a discount for future project which I won’t trust them anymore. Also the windows and doors only certified for south area of America.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I absolutely would. The experience was terrible from start to finish. A pushy door-to-door salesman pressured me into the service, and things only got worse from there.

They were scheduled to arrive at 8AM but showed up an hour early - completely disregarding the agreed time. I requested to reschedule due to a heavy snowfall, but they ignored my concerns and insisted on proceeding. The crew who arrived spoke no English, making communication nearly impossible.

After the installation, they left metal nails scattered all over my driveway - posing a serious risk to my tires and safety. It was completely unprofessional and careless.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

in 2019 I chose Power Home remodeling after considering independent contractors, stores like Home depot, and other major companies like Anderson and Pella, We were looking to start with windows but knew we had an older home and would need more. Scheduling and Window quotes were easy, they worked with us on financing and the window install was a DREAM!! then we had our post walk through and the Siding team was such a 180 you would think I had been Catfished! they Project was not done in a timely manor, they left debree all over my yard, and there are still traces 6 years later. In the last 6 years, they have had to come out twice already for pieces of siding blowing away, which leads us to our third occurrence. In February 2025 we had a storm that loosened some of our trim, we called. the next week another storm, the trim is gone, soffit is loose and attic is exposed. this is 02.16.2025. We update them and send new images, they apologize that it will take a few weeks. We thank them and wait. NOTHING. We follow up 4 weeks later.... NOTHING..... We follow up 4 weeks later..... NOTHING.... We get to May.... still nothing and a critter moved in above my bed, which BTW is right where the damage is..... I call and tell them this, they say let me call my boss and I'll call you back..... NOTHING. TODAY! I call again. Here we are 07.16.2025, I call and I re explain. And after almost 2 months of something sleeping above my bed waking me up every day between 3-4 AM I ask can someone please come fix this and who is going to help with this animal.... I wait on hold for 15 minutes, hoping they can make this right.... Well she comes back to let me know they are sorry but they can come out on 07.29.25 but we will have to have that animal removed first and we have to pay for it 100% out of pocket. Still paying off the siding, but sure. After everything and that I'm still picking up metal pieces from my yard, save your self the 6 years, the multiple calls to service and go with another major provider because they aren't worth the quality windows. Home ownership is hard enough without putting your faith in companies that only care about you when you're signing their 60K contracts.

They installed a new roof this past Friday and we are not happy with the workmanship. The gutters are no longer catching the rain from the roof, they ran out of shingles for the peak, the flashing looks like crap. We called first thing Monday with complaints and requested a person come out and inspect the work and he that's the way it looks sometimes and if it leaks we can always go back against the warranty. A repair person is coming on Thursday but I don't have a lot of faith in the quality of the future work. I will keep you posted on the work.

Power Remodeling is the most unprofessional, dishonest company I’ve ever had the misfortune of working with. My experience with them was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. I hired them to replace gutters and downspouts on my home. They made confident promises during the sales pitch—things like rerouting a problematic downspout, extending all downspouts two feet away from my foundation, and cleaning up heating wires on the roof. Not a single one of those commitments was fulfilled.

Instead of extending the downspouts, they just cut them short and let them dump water directly at my foundation. One was literally pointed up a slope—which any human with a basic understanding of gravity would know is completely useless. The downspout that was supposed to be rerouted out from under my deck? They left it exactly where it was, cut a larger hole in my deck, then left trash—including old downspout pieces—hidden underneath the panels. The remaining downspout was so short and tucked under my deck that water just pooled against my foundation, and there was nothing I could do to redirect it. When I asked them to address all this, I was told they "don’t do deck work," even though they clearly chose to cut into the deck themselves.

And then there’s the crew. The subcontractor they sent (All Gutters Inc) was the most careless, disrespectful contractor I’ve dealt with. The guy showed up and asked me what the job was—he had no idea. He was vaulting over railings, stomping across my deck like it was a jungle gym, and left trash scattered across my yard. No professionalism, no respect for my home.

When I begged Power to send someone else to fix the issues, it took a month of calling back and forth, texting, and emailing for a resolution. It took relentless follow-up on my part just to get a response - if I hadn’t stayed on them, they absolutely would have swept this under the rug and moved on like nothing ever happened. They assured me the original guy wouldn’t come back—then he showed up again, completely unannounced at 7 a.m., walking around on my roof with no warning. Once again, he asked me what the job was supposed to be. Horrible communication.

In the end, I’m left with one fewer downspout on my home—because they claim they 'don’t do deck work'—and now all the rainwater is funneled in one direction toward a single downspout, carrying more water than it is meant to handle. Avoid Power Remodeling at all costs. They overpromise and then work with shady, disrespectful subcontractors like All Gutters Inc. Save your money.

I know this nice young man was doing the job he is supposed to do and this review is directed solely at the company. I have never felt trapped in my own home like I did today. Jimmy was excellent and so thorough but the company does not set expectations realistically. I had an appt for 9am and was asked if I have any plans between 9 and 10. I had plans at 11:30 so I said no. The man was here for 2.5 hours and that was only after I cut him short. This may work for some people but I am not a fan of their sales strategy or the in depth presentations that are given, sometimes not even relevant to the work itself.

I didn’t realize what company was coming for the estimate as there is another one that I work with regularly that does the same evaluations in much less time and projects for less money. These guys have knocked on my door several times, including once at 7:30 in the dark when I had no outdoor lights on. They force their presentation on you and I’ve found the only way to get them to leave is by closing the door on them. I have told them I am not interested repeatedly and still got calls and knocks on the door. I just asked to be removed from their lists entirely so I’m hoping it’s over.

That company may work for some but not me. There are so many reputable, insured and knowledgeable contractors that are less pushy, less time consuming and just as thorough. Sales strategy is drawn out and excessive. Thanks but no thanks

A Power representative came to our home. We were having a problem with our front window leaking along the top edge whenever it rained. We were told that the window needed to be replaced and that our gutters were not sufficient and were not allowing it to drain fast enough and so it was backing up over and filling up the soffits and flowing above the window and leaking. Gutters and trim and soffit were recommended to stop that. And that the roof and surrounding area would be inspected when doing the work.
In early August 2023 they came and installed larger sized gutters and soffits. When they were here doing the installation, They told me they inspected the roof area and there was no evidence of a problem. No water damage was evident so the new gutters should take care of the problem.
In Sept 2023 we had heavy rainfall and had a bad water leak around the window into my house and onto the floor. There was water dripping on the window frame inside and dripping onto the bottom ledge. I called that in and the guys who installed the window came. He opened up the window area and determined that the window was not leaking and that our problem was coming from the roof. He told me that the roof had problems and that I most likely didn’t need to have the gutters and soffits replaced.
I had a roofer come out to inspect and was told it was obvious that the roof had an area where the leak was coming from. I have to have this repaired now. Nothing that was recommended and replaced on my house helped the situation I had right from the beginning. New gutters, new windows did not help the problem. Did I need new gutters and soffits at all? According to one of the Power people that was here, I did not need that work done.
The roof problem was bad enough and noticeable that I needed a new roof. I was told the roof was fine and there was no evidence of the roof leaking after they inspected it. When peeling back the shingles in the area of the roof over where the windows were replaced, there was plenty of evidence that the roof was the problem. Not the gutters or the window.

December 2023, right around the Christmas holidays the hinges on the front door that was just installed in August were pulling out and the door was getting difficult to close. We had to push the door in with our shoulders so we could close and lock it. The hinges were pulling from the frame of the door. I called POWER in early January 2024 about the problem. They told me they couldn’t get out to look at it until April. I made the first available appointment and they’re supposed to come in April 2024. No way I could wait until April to get this fixed, it got to the point where we couldn't close the door. I wound up replacing and tightening up the screws on the hinges myself.

I also question the high quality of their products that they claim. I have had nothing but problems/issues with the windows and slider doors that were installed all within the first 3-4 months. If you call to have them fixed, it's a three to four months wait for the first available appointment. Absolutely ridiculous service. I would think that if they have such a backlog of appointments, they would hire more people.
Horrible service for a lifetime warranty wouldn’t you think. I would not recommend them for any work.
I just made an appointment to have repair work done on my sliders they installed. Not coming til the end of January 2025.

These people are such a nuisance. They knocked on my door a year ago and I obliged let them give the spiel. They didn’t want to give me a written quote for the work. Then came around a year later and have not stopped calling me after I explicitly told them if I was ready to do the job I would call them. Clearly unprofessional and super pushy wouldn’t recommend.

Buyer beware.

This is a review for the roofing service. We had two low profile roofs redone on our home — an upsell after the window install which went fine. First, the installers didn’t realize there were two roofs to be addressed, and rushed to complete the second roof. Power requires that you sign off on the job before the installers can leave so there was nothing we could do but sign project documentation so we could go about our evening (feed our family, let the dog in the yard as the installers left the gate open all day). The next morning we discovered they left without completing the job (photos attached). They also cracked my siding and the newly installed window trim.

Once we reported our service issue, Power promised to finish the job three different times but never showed. Only after promising legal action did they actually show up — repairs were done in the rain, in the dark, so we couldn’t see what was being done. All of this and the first roof that they spent days working on is already warped and peeling back. I could not be more dissatisfied with the quality and service performed on my home.

Pushy salesmen who overstayed their welcome at our house for over 2 hours on a Friday night when we had company planned to come over an hour after the quote was scheduled. Our friend arrived and the salesman stayed for an additional hour after that. I also wanted my husband to handle it, I had gloves on and was doing dishes yet he insisted to meet me and shake my hand.

We wanted a quote for gutters but were asked 5+ times if we were sure (they were trying to sell a siding project, I’m sure this is more expensive than gutters). This was the first quote we received and we were pressured to make a deal in the moment by being offered $1000 off the original quote price after hours of listening to sales pitches and minutes of negotiation. We said we had to get other quotes, we also wanted to look into the technical details and reviews. Pressure and discounts continued to try to sell us the project. Come to find out, larger gutters exist & the company has bad reviews.

Another company just came by for a quote and only needed 5 minutes of my time and did not even ask to come inside. I bet the quote comes back cheaper due to 2+ hours of saved time.

We will not be using power home for any of our renovations. This review is purely based on their sales process. Not to mention the guy who knocked on our door twice in one day to push the quote on us. Do not get sucked into a quote with this company.

Waste of our precious and limited free time.

this company is a scam. my mother has them install windows. last minute they said they wouldn't honor the 50 year warranty unless she got new gutters. she fell for it being elderly and not knowing better. then they installed the gutters but drilled through the shingles. that's not the way they should have been installed. it looks so ugly. they keep pretending they are sending someone out to look at it but no one ever shows up. they are rude and do not honor their warranty and take advantage of the elderly. disgusting company.

I got 3 very expensive doors installed in my house from them. The details on these doors weren't the best. My front door's door knob keeps coming off even after tightening the screws, so I called to use my "guarantee" the man that came was extremely rude and reprimanded me for not calling earlier. He said he didn't have the paint because no one told him he would need it. I said it was fine to wait to when they had availability, but he wanted me to do it myself. Once I said that he slammed my door and said they will come in June which was their first available. When I called them, they said they don't paint door and I have to do it myself. The guarantee was a selling point for me since they said they would take care of anything and everything, but it was all a lie.

This is the worst place to ever buy windows please people check out other window companies before purchasing anything from them. It has almost been a year now, and they still haven't fixed our problems, and these big picture windows are very expensive. They have given us 5 different dates on sending someone to replace the windows. Yes, I said Windows. I wish that I didn't have to write this problem without giving them a rating. Please, I say please so no one else will ever have to experience what my wife and I went through, oh, and the uv Ray protection is fake the bottom of my 4 foot window looks like an old burned out flash cube from a Polaroid camera and out window like the one in our bedroom in the living shattered on its own sounded like a little explosion because of a certain gas in between the windows,

so, instillation was amazing, service though, absolute garbage and i would never recommend this company.

the Bay windows broke within the 2nd year. it took 18 months to get a replacement. once those came in, one was broken and one was scratched.

i just had another replacement done today after waiting 9 months only for the installer to destroy my entire frame of the window as well as the screw caps, and replacement casements, interior and exterior.

they have switched window manufacturers and do not provide the same warranty they used to, so good luck i guess.

looking to file a lawsuit soon myself.

i have recommended this company to many people, and feel like i should personally apologize to them for it.

i also have a window that was left here that i dont know what to do with

My wife and I had several windows installed by Power HRG. From start to finish they were awesome. Very communicative, and took the time to explain things that help make informed decisions. They have dedicated people who are looking to help, and make a positive impact on your home. Thank you to Chris, Steve, Edison, Mike, and the work crew for a wonderful job. Already set up another job to replace our gutters. Highly recommend if you want a group of people who care about your home. Read some other reviews and I will say they do come in a little hot, but never push you to sign anything unless you are totally on board with the work. There style of sales is more recommendation based, but if you are looking for a great price you do have to jump onboard immediately.

Easy decision for us to work with this group just on communication alone, but there kindness really has put them over the top!

Two gentlemen stopped by my house. One very friendly and talkative. Convinced me to have people come and give me two free estimates. Set up an appointment time. Had someone from their main office speak with me and confirm all my information I had just given to the gentleman at my house. Confirmed again an appointment day and time. Then emailed a confirmation. IT WAS FOR THE NEXT DAY. NO ONE SHOWED UP. NO ONE CALLED. I EMAILED AND NO ONE FOLLOWED UP. HOW RELIABLE OR TRUSTWORTHY CAN THEY BE…..

I do NOT recommend anyone use Power Home Remodeling Group (PHRG) or even allow them into their homes. They are a high pressure corporate sales company that hires low bid contractors to quickly throw on their overpriced mediocre products with a very difficult to use warranty. I have many regrets as a new home owner putting my trust and a lot of cash into their pockets. They will harass you until you pay them and then they will ignore you for any needed issues or warranty repairs. If you want to cancel your contract in the three days that the law allows, PHRG requires you to show up in person in Pennsylvania, or pay $250 for a telegram to be sent and also have a follow up visit. There has been no follow ups in 4 months to correct the installation mistakes!

This company is disrespectful of customer’s time, intelligence and to their homes. Sales pitches last over 3 hours on average, and their measurements are often incorrect resulting in multiple price changes over the course of the project. Their “special pricing” is only valid while the salesman is on site at your house. You can not seek out other bids as generally recommended anytime you are starting a construction project. They share a Bill of Rights for customers that are often violated and no reparations offered. The contractors do not speak English and are difficult to communicate with. Work was done before and after agreed upon times, even at night in the dark. My yard and home were both damaged by the crews and I had to make repairs at my expense. The crew did not follow OSHA or State licensing guidelines for electrical or contractor work. The work crew damaged both my electrical power and internet service costing me two days of work to have the extra necessary repairs done. PHRG agreed to review the bills I received for the damage the crew caused and after 6 requests from me, never followed through. The crew tried to finish the job at 9 pm in the dark and then asked me to sign off on the completed job. I refused to review a siding job in the dark and this made the crew member angry. One crew member attempted to take my phone and approve it himself. This is because the crew are told they only get paid if the customer approves their job. The crew also informed me they had no time to come back because they had other jobs already scheduled. I am guessing these hard working crews do not get to enjoy the company sponsored annual private caribbean island rental that all the sales people enjoy for taking vulnerable homeowners’ money.

If you are still reading and considering using this company, please do thorough research. I found they had an A+ on Better Business Bureau, however, upon further research found that rating means nothing. BBB has received 898 total complaints in the last 3 years.467 complaints in the last 12 months. (As of the 17th of September, 2023) The rating is A+ solely based on how often PHRG responds (mostly automatic replies) to complaints, not their actual service quality.

The company attempted to assuage my dissatisfaction by pressuring me into buying more products. Once again, the “deal” was only good while they were still on my property and I was not given time to collect other bids. This is not standard with contractors, only sales hungry corporations. My recommendation is to hire local contractors and not give any time or money to these homewreckers. They highlight that they were named “#1 company to work for for Millennials by Forbes” and that is because employee turn over is high and their work ethic is quite disappointing.

Our project was installed a year ago. When we were looking at different companies to go with we chose Power because we were told through out the project set up (even the installers) that the warranty covered accidental damage as well as product installation issues and product quality issues. Fast forwarding a year later, we had an issue where a telephone wire that was reattached by the installers was ripped out because it was hanging too low. When I called to have the piece replaced, they told me it wasn’t covered under warranty. Please be aware that if you are leaning toward choosing this company because of their warranty promises, the warranty doesn’t cover everything they tell you it does in person. Their sales department will promise you things that are not covered to get the sale. Trust only what you read in their agreement. If the sales person that approaches you tells you something, ask for proof on paper before you sign.

This company came to my door about 5 years ago and spoke with my husband, they made an appointment to discuss windows.. They never arrived for the appointment, my husband and I had wasted an entire day waiting for them. We called that Monday to ask why they did not arrive, we got no response. We rescheduled and still no one came. In the past 3 weeks I have had someone show up at my door talking about windows, I had new windows installed by renewal by Andersen, with the sign outside my house and also a no solicitors sign on my door and still they were talking about windows. I asked if they could read and if they saw the signs they said yes but they were going to talk to me anyway... If this is their sales staff I can imagine what they do when hired.. I have seen so many bad reviews of this company. I can make my own decisions and decide who will or will not work on my home. when a company goes door to door for sales that shows me they are desperate for work due to having an inferior product. Funny you never see Renewal by Andersen going door to door looking for business

A salesman knocked on my front door. He lied and said my neighbor was having some work done, which is a common tactic they use. He came back and gave a lengthy presentation. They use pushy, high pressure sales tactics like giving you a price with no time to actually think about it, claiming it locks you into a certain rate if they're to return and do anymore windows. The salesman touted that they don't sub-contract, which I also don't believe and that they're window people only do windows. Read on to learn why this should have been a red flag. I agreed to have 4 basement windows and one double-hung. For one thing, the sales agent had no idea what he was talking about when it came to basement windows with vents. I stated I wanted two of the basement windows to be vented, because he made it sound as if the window had some kind of sophisticated built-in vent. No- they just give you a smaller window partially boarded up to accommodate e.g. a dryer vent. I had specifically stated I did not want that and would not have opted for a 2nd window like that had the salesman known what he was talking about.

Onto the double-hung. That area of the home had suffered damage from a tree falling during a storm. Part of the damage was apparently a hair-line fissure above the window they were to replace, from the top of that window to the ceiling. A real contractor would have realized that replacing that window would only cause more damage to the surrounding wall and ceiling. But these people only install windows, so they didn't know or care or even install that window properly because less than 2 years later the adhesive they used is cracked and the window sill is pulling away. And these people won't even trim the window! They tell you if you want to replace the trimming you need to buy it separately and paint or stain it yourself. And God forbid there's an issue with the existing frame as I believe was also the case there- they only install windows.

Then they call you and they don't stop calling you. If you don't ever answer the phone, or even if you do and tell them "I'll never hire you for anything else ever" they don't stop calling you. Only reason they get 2 stars is because technically they did install the windows.

Had our roof replaced after winter damage. The sales team was good with no pressure. The work was done one week after getting an estimate. The installation team was fantastic. We have a complicated roof structure, and the work was completed start to finish in one day.

UPDATED: Already had to have one window sash replaced due to a defect in the glass. After touting quality and inspection I was the one that had to point it out on our walk through of the job. Took them a couple months to get the window in. Installer showed up on my doorstep unexpected to fix the window. We also had a blinds company come in to install blinds and they said that the windows were installed too far in so I cannot have inset blinds and need to buy all new window treatments to fit. I was considering using them for other projects in the future but I'll find someone else.

During the final conversation with the manager who came to the home they pressured you to write reviews right there in front of them so they could take pictures. It's intimidating and I should have said no in the moment. I will be updating all of the reviews they asked me to write.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had a great experience with the folks at Power. the process was very thorough to make sure we got everything we needed the way we wanted it. The completed gutters, trim and windows. We had some confusion on expectation of product availability and dates so the window install date pushed out, but the teams that came out to do each job were fast and were solid quality. Their rates were competitive and came in less than Anderson with access to more service. We will be considering them for siding in the future. Would definitely recommend the Power team for home renovation projects.

I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and disregard for a homeowner that is paying for a service to be done. Its not the laborers that come out to do the actual work but rather the ones that sit comfortably in an office who are the problem. They will refuse to give you as a homeowner the time of day to get the job done correctly to the standards that you require for your home. They treat you as if you are just another number and try to rush through the simplest solution for them to get the job done rather than adhering to the requests of the homeowner. When something goes wrong they don’t give you options that even seem remotely appealing to you but rather the one that seems easiest for them. I strongly recommend that you avoid this company but if you are to use Power Home Remodeling that you carefully review your Bill of Rights and don’t let them violate it as they have done to me, specifically #5, #6, and #8.

Let's talk about "the ordeal". I'm very understanding of the supply chain issues and have been very easy to deal with.
But....
The siding was finished in October and I was waiting on the gutters and some porch windows. I heard nothing for 6 weeks. Keep in mind that I had a pile of materials in my driveway for that whole time. I thought they were for the gutters. Turns out it wasn't. The stuff was just left there as a eyesore.
Gutters were finally finished in November. Now "the ordeal" continues with the porch windows. Five weeks later in January the windows are finally installed.
But.......
They did not have the correct trim and needed to return to put that in. No one called for three months until they realized the bill hadn't been paid. They called about the bill but had no idea the job wasn't finished. I guess it was up to me to do their job AGAIN and remind them to finish their work.
Now, six months later someone is coming Friday to maybe finish? I don't know.
The siding looks great but the whole project has been an ordeal.

We had PowerHRG come in to give a quote for 16 windows and two doors. We canceled the order because the sales person negotiated a price for 14 windows not 16. He sat in my kitchen for 4 hours talking units and not windows. He didn’t include the two kitchen windows in his quote. We thought we were negotiating a price for 16 windows. When they cam out to measure they said we signed an agreement for 14 windows. They wanted to charge us another 2 grand. I said that’s the amount we negotiated off the price already. It clearly a bait and switch sales tactic. They like they have a good product. But shady sales folks. Buyer beware!!!

PHR was in my neighborhood offering free quote appointments, so I scheduled one. Circumstances changed, and I cancelled the appointment telling them I would call them myself when I was ready to reschedule. They then proceeded to spam call me and my wife daily for weeks, never leaving a voicemail, until we told them not to call again. They stopped calling for about a month but just started calling me daily again. This is absolutely unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and extremely rude. I will never do business with them.

Mark did an awesome and thorough job explaining the quality of the Power Windows and explaining our window options, financing, and timeliness expectations for the job. We also discussed future projects. The pre-inspection with Chris was quick and painless, and he was able to answer all our follow-up questions. The team was great, respectful, and worked smoothly, getting our windows in. Very impressed and pleased with the whole experience!

Someone from power came to my house offered a free estimate on windows and said "we didn't need to be home to do the estimate, they could just leave it in our mailbox" we weren't looking to get windows done right away but an estimate could be good to know what it would cost. This company would constantly contact my wife to try setting up a time to come out when she was at work this company doesn't listen to "best time to call" I wouldn't give this company the time of day of they came back to my house... terrible to run a business I called and told them to remove our numbers from their call list we won't do business with them they said ok they took care of it, 5 minutes later I get another call from this company....

Power Home Remodeling installed new windows in our home. They were beyond professional from start to finish. The initial quote was very reasonable and their rep was extremely knowledgeable about the windows and their energy efficiency technology. When install came, they showed up on time and were very professional and efficient doing they install. After the job was complete, the project manager came by and ensured everything was done properly and cleaned up. I would recommend Power Home Remodeling to anyone interested in any sort of exterior remodeling.

The experience with Power Home Remodeling was incredible. We had new roof installed 5 years ago. The test of the quality of the installation came with the horrible winter of 2015 with all the roof collapses and ice dams! We were naturally a bit worried, but unnecessarily so. We had absolutely no issues.
We would highly recommend PHR to anyone who needs to have roofing and gutter work done.

We used Power HRG to install a new roof. They were very professional from start to finish. The sales rep Ray, was very knowledgeable, explained everything very clearly and did not engage in high pressure sales tactics. The price was very competitive and communication from start to finish was exemplary. Contracting crew showed up on time and completed the install in less than 6 hours leaving everything clean at the end. We were very happy with the experience.
