I needed cosmetic work and some maintenance in my house before listing for sale, SS renovation was great on quality and timing.

We had our home’s siding replaced and have no word to describe how happy we are! From day one, the workmanship, professionalism, and honesty never changed. Sidney’s crew were on time every day and even worked through the extreme cold days to deliver the work on time! Sidney always returned the calls and was prompt to help and answer any questions we had! Highly recommended!

HORRIBLE experience!!! We chose to work with Sidney as he completed 2 other projects in our previous home and did great, no issues. However, this time around his services did a total 180. This time around we needed 3 rooms painted and 2 closets finished. We didn’t want the project started if it couldn’t be completed by a certain time as we needed the rooms. Sidney continued to promise they’d be done in time. They started on a Monday come Thursday when he said everything would be done there was SO much more to still complete. Not to mention a whole room wasn’t started yet. Again Sidney said his team would complete it by Friday he’d send a “large crew”. So we trusted him and no large crew was sent which in turn the job was nowhere near finished. Not the mention, the crew broke 2 of our smoke detectors and never put any of the detectors back up that they took down, painted over all sockets so we now must scrape paint off, and our new carpeted rugs now have paint ALL over them. Needless to say we did not ask them to come in to finish the job as we felt they’ve done enough damage. Not to mention Sidney wasn’t the one to come to do the work himself, he sent others. Very much disappointed that we paid for horrible service and now have to fix things.

We had another contractor working on our home and we were really unhappy with the work. When we needed to renovate our whole kitchen unexpectedly, we were extremely lucky that we found Sidney. His team took over our renovation and did an excellent job. He clearly communicated when he could come and finished the job in a timely manner. If there was something I was unsatisfied with, he made it right no questions asked. Sidney is definitely the person I will call if I need any further work done in my home. He is a man of his word, and that is rare today!

Sidney and his team are extraordinary.

First, Sidney is responsive. That is rare is his business. But Sidney doesn’t play games. I called him and he came right over, looked at the work (repairs to a finished basement room after a flood) and he gave me a price in a very reasonable few days. And the price included ALL the work I wanted done. That never happens. Everyone else I called either ghosted me, gave me a ridiculous price or gave me a ridiculous price AND left half the work I wanted done off the proposal. Sidney was excellent. I had a good feeling from the beginning.

Then he and his team began the work. His team was fast and the work was very high quality. Anytime I had a question, he got back to me immediately. And anytime he had a question for me, I appreciated that he thought to ask it. It was SO smooth.

The work came out absolutely beautiful. The space isn’t just back to its original state, it looks better! The attention to detail was excellent. We are absolutely thrilled with the result. I would absolutely recommend Sidney to anyone. In fact, I already have recommended him to a relative and a friend who have specific projects. Thank you Sidney and thank you to your whole team. Sidney was recommended to me by the manager of my condominium office. He repaired water damage to my ceiling. Very nice young man to work with, he and his crew of very considerate and polite workers completed the job at his quoted price and on time.

Had Sidney and company in for some finish up decking replacement another contractor walked away from. While there I contracted to have flooring on a porch replaced and once he got in to the job the scope of work necessitated complete demo and rebuild of porch. Sidney and his crew dealt with all headaches associated with this unforeseen problem with professionalism and quick work. Plan on using them again this Spring for more work.

We had kitchen and bathroom floor tile installed by their team. Love the results! It was done very well. It was a bit challenging to get on their schedule, but overall we would hire them again.

I had a hole in my roof that was made from the squirrels in our yard. This business was very quick to reach out and fix the hole very quickly. Very convenient and good quality work from these guys.

Since I moved into my house in 2008 I've had a window leak. I had a large national company replace the window and it still leaked. After calling around to dozens of places and getting no response I came across Sidney at SS Handyman Services. He not only returned my call, but actually came out to look. Sidney and his team renovated our small full bathroom. This is our main family bathroom. We had it redone to make the bathroom more functional and neat with an attractive up to date style. Sidney and his team replaced the roof on my 25 year old shed. They also replaced and added trim to the shed. I am extremely pleased with their work and the finished product. We had a stand up shower in the bathroom attached to our master bedroom. The house is 16 years old and we decided it was time to remodel the shower. We started looking around for someone who could do this for us. We finally settled on SS Handyman Services after seeing the work Sidney had done in a few of the houses in our neighborhood. He gutted the old shower and replaced the side adjacent to the tub with glass and replaced the old fiberglass door with a glass pull out door. The other two sides were done with tiles from top to bottom. The shower is now bright with the additional light because of the extra glass. We’re really pleased with the outcome. Sidney is a great guy to work with - always pleasant and positive. He finished the project on time and within budget. I would strongly recommend him for any of your remodeling needs.
