We added a new master suite and expanded the family room. They kept the job site clean and respected our living space the entire time. The quality of the build speaks for itself.

We went through a major home remodel with GA Building and they handled everything with professionalism and care. Each phase was well-managed, and their crew clearly knew their craft. The transformation has been life-changing.

My bathroom got flooded last month due to the bad storms we had! My bathroom sits at the back of the house and is lower to the ground ! I reached out to GA on a Monday and by Wednesday they already had a crew sent out working on renovations! This is a good company, they’re fast, reliable, and they respected my space and they worked! They also had a bunch of designed to choose from that were in my budget!

No more arguing over the single prep space or fighting with sticky drawers! They designed our new kitchen with multiple work zones, proper ventilation, and storage that actually makes sense. The pull-out spice racks and trash/recycling system might be our favorite parts.

Working from home is actually enjoyable now in our custom-built office addition. The soundproofing, natural light, and built-in shelving create the perfect work environment. They even included USB outlets and perfect cable management and these are the details that make all the difference.

Our kitchen remodel turned a cramped, outdated space into a bright, functional area where we love to gather. GA Building & Remodeling team suggested smart storage solutions we wouldn’t have thought of. The finished product is even better than we imagined

10-Month Bath Remodel Nightmare
If you’re even thinking about hiring GA for a remodel—DON’T. This was, hands down, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. I am baffled by the good reviews here on Google—it’s one reason I hired them—so I felt compelled to share my story.
TLDR:
• Massive Delays: Promised 4-5 months, dragged over 10, still not done
• Constant Mess: Trash, tools—even a razor blades—left around kids’ toys
• Terrible Quality: Work redone multiple times—tile, electrical, plumbing
• Dishonest: Lies about schedules, parts, deliveries
• Property Damage: Brand-new materials scratched, chipped, broken
• Safety Hazards: Electrical and plumbing work caused outages, leaks, cold showers
• You Become the GC: Cleaning, scheduling, even physical labor
• Unskilled Workers: don't take proper precautions protect your house or newly installed fixing, couldn’t align faucets, couldn't tile correctly
• They Don’t Care: Evasive, unprofessional, no pride in their work

The Details:
Hired GA in Aug 2024 for two upstairs bathrooms. They started in Sept. We were told 4 months. It’s been over 10 and the job is still not complete.From day one it was a mess. Every day I cleaned up trash, wrappers, tools, even sharp objects left around our kids’ toys and play areas. They left piles of tiles blocking our daughter’s door, unsecured trash bags on our lawn for weeks, and repeatedly ignored my cleanup requests.

The quality of the work was awful. The master vanity took 5 tries to install. They ruined the inside cutting it over and over, scratched it, and damaged the marble top. They repeatedly claimed their “countertop guy” could fix it with a simple polishing. Took over 3 months for this guy to show up and then tell us he couldn’t fix it, and left. We eventually got a replacement—then they tried to install one with two cracks. More delays.
In the kids’ bath, they chipped the brand-new tub probably by throwing paint cans in it or poor tile work while not properly protecting the tub. We had to rip it out, re-order, re-install, and re-tile. Their tile work was crooked, uneven, chipped, and blamed on the tile itself—not true. Had to switch away from subway tiles, which they weren’t capable of installing.

The plumber—man, was this guy dumb— He botched the mixer so badly we had only lukewarm water throughout the house. After a week of cold showers GA sends a new plumber who walks in, laughs, and tells us it was installed upside down!

They lied about custom parts (like a “custom” glass door that turned out to be off-the-shelf). Tried to force us to pay for it until their own glass installer exposed the lie. They even took my personal shop vac and it took weeks to get it back.

Scheduling was chaos. “Parts arriving today” never showed. Excuses ranged from broken trucks to sick kids. I had to manage everything—schedules, reminders, rework. I also physically helped them move cabinets, jump in during emergencies, and spent hours cleaning their messes.

The faucet situation was another disaster. Our GA rep promised he would make sure everything would be compatible—but then told us after install that each faucet would cost $400 more to fit. Their plumbers still couldn’t align them right after multiple attempts. I even had to front money for a replacement faucet because the contractor wouldn’t authorize a return.

GA even stiff one of their plumbers, who told me directly he wouldn’t return until they paid him. They also claimed a needed part “didn’t exist”—when the plumber already had it.

Their electricians were dangerously incompetent. One permanently tripped a breaker that affected unrelated parts of the house. Another caused ALL the outlets on our first floor to go out and left the job with the panel wide open with wires sticking out.

We've had to give up weekends, vacations, and work time to manage this incompance. I’ve acted as the cleaner, project manager, laborer, and quality control. I have even more examples, but honestly I’m exhausted. And the job still isn’t done.

We hired GA Building & Remodeling to add a sunroom and move kitchen from the center of the house to side of the house. While the work is done finally, we had a lot of issues working with the builder and his team.

First, builder's electrician were watching youtube videos to do the wiring and put neutral wire in hot wire slot. As a result, our oven was not heating. When we call the builder, he said he would contact the electrician and if it's bad oven I would have to pay the electrician. I agreed and his electrician never showed up. Finally, I called a local electrician, he found the problem in 5 minutes and left detailed note explaining the problem. I sent the note to the builder and he said that he would pay for the electrician I called but he never did despite multiple followups. Also, for many weeks we couldn't use any of the sockets as even if I plugged my two laptops to a circuit, it would trip. They wired garage, Kitchen and first floor bathroom to the same circuit.

Second, they don't care how would you live in the house. They don't cover the work they do and leave mess including their water bottles everywhere for the homeowner to clean. They left garbage bags in the house and on deck for us to clean.

Third, only one person knows what he is doing and the rest of the crew do very poor job. His guy installed cedar clapboard siding on the new wall and every siding was cracked. seeing the poor job, I ended up doing the siding installation myself.

Fourth, they start the work and often don't show up for days. in our case, the electrician installed the socket for microwave on Wednesday and crew didn't show up to install the microwave on Thursday or Friday so I ended up installing it on Sunday.

Finally, he charged $23K for removing rotten plywood and installing new plywood on one side of the wall on top of original amount while the standard pricing for it is $60 -$90 per sheet.

With that said, I can't recommend this company to anyone else. I gave 2 stars rating because one thing they did right is building the deck.

We have a long association with Mr. Levi. He first helped us with a bathroom remodel (2019), then a full basement remodel (2024), and several home improvement projects with our new house (2025). The best part of working with Mr. Levi and his team (his team needs a big shout-out) is the quality of work, consistency in delivering quality work, and reliability. His knowledge in the field is immense, which is shown through his interactions. He effectively manages lining up his team (plumber, electrician, painter etc.) such that every time we have worked with him, he has completed the project right on time. He goes beyond to help customers in making the right selections related to the project, which always comes out good. Highly recommended.

Had a rapid response and phone based quote from Levy. The quote was for a deck and provided based on my description of the job. When I contacted him a few weeks later indicating I was interested but wanted him to look at the job before moving forward, he didn't want to "waste his time" if a final decision hadn't been made. I guess they don't need the work.

The care he took to work with us to define the project before to start, making recommendations on material and design, and clearly explaining cost and time impact was very helpful. We found GA Building for a flooded basement remodel. From the first phone call, Levy knew exactly how to move forward with our insurance and told us what to expect along the way. We asked for a tight schedule in order to complete the remodel before a major holiday and GA Building stuck to the timeline perfectly. We are pleased with the quality of the work and with the professionalism of all the crew members involved. Levy especially was the most responsive and informative project manager I’ve come across and was a pleasure to work with.

The project was a huge porch rebuild/remodel and a ramp add-on, and it all came out beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Levy is incredibly responsive and attentive to what you need, and is not pushy in any way. He and his crew are extremely hard working, and showed up rain or shine, even in the hottest of weather. They completely demolished and rebuilt our extremely outdated and rotted porch, from foundation to roof, and added a wheelchair ramp even though we asked for it after the fact. Levy and his crew replaced our roof and rebuilt the chimney. We are very satisfied with the results. They were communicative thru the entire project and would hire them again for future projects.

Absolutely worst contractor I ever hired. He would disappear for weeks and even months on end, not returning phone calls or emails. We signed a contract in March of 2021 and he did not finish the project until April of 2022, a single bathroom remodel. In the course of demo for remodel, his crew cut through pipes and live wires. His crew attempted to conceal the issues by wrapping painters tape around water pipes, which resulted in flooding my downstairs. His crew left expose live wires with painters tape on them as a their fix and left my house in a potentially dangerous situation. Upon me expressing my concerns, he threaten to walk away and drop the contract. I was forced to continue the project, due to the fact he had caused more damage, than he made improvements at that point. He would constantly attempt to cut ever corner he could in rectifying it. Other than some unqualified laborers, he has no one on his payroll, he is simply calling contractors you could call yourself, with little to no planning and scheduling. This resulted in large delays between each phase and most sub contractor were so frustrated with him, they did not want to work for him. If it wasn’t for constant calling and emailing him and his sub contractors directly, managing the project on our own, it would have never got done. What work him and his actual crew, of unqualified laborers did, was sub par and leaves us questioning what I did not see. I have not even finished expressing how bad every aspect of this project was, do not believe a word he says. I wish I could give negative stars. I feel compelled to write this review to protect others from getting involved with Levy.

Absolutely awful communication with this contractor! I signed a contract with them in April then waited 2 months for a permit to supposedly get approved. Few days before the work was supposed to start I was told the contractor would be using a concrete slab to put in stairs which I never agreed to in the contract. Owner was rude & snarky when I told him I wanted to supervise the project to make sure it was done correctly. I ended up canceling the contract due to waiting over 2 months for a start date & lack of communication. I would not recommend this business as they are not completely honest.

Levy did a good job for the 2 bathroom and kitchen remodel. His crew were very detailed with everything and would recommend.

I was nervous to build a house because of horror stories about working with builders. We went with GA Building & Remodeling and he proved all those stories wrong. The team at here was phenomenal, and our home is more beautiful than imagined. I give them my highest recommendation. We have been in our house for a year now, and the craftsmanship continues to shine.

We wanted to add another kitchen to our house. So we called a bunch of contractors for quote. Levy was the only one who brought up the point that we might not get permit for the second kictchen due to our house being a single family. He was very upfront, honest and knowledgeable.

Diego managed all the patio and deck buildings that I had hired GA Building & Remodeling. Their quotation was reasonable after I compared it with other companies and not that they were cheap or expensive but after talking to the team they knew what needed to be done and how to do it exactly and that is the reason I hired them. The job they did took 1 week and some days and I am pleased.

Despite all the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, they were able to get me scheduled and a crew out to replace my roof within two weeks. They were great about keeping distance and respectful of my space. Despite having a lot more roof than I realized, the vast majority of the work was done in one day with pictures coming regularly to me. Unfortunately I had quite a lot of rotted boards that also had to be replaced, which they handled in stride.

Everything was cleaned up and they left the area better than when they arrived. And they cleaned out my gutters for me! I’ve had many compliments both on my new roof and on how quickly they had it off and replaced.

I will absolutely be using GA Building & Remodeling for future projects.

We did not end up hiring GA Building & Remodeling due to our budget, but Levy was great to work with during the quoting process.

First and foremost - I have not had Levy and his team start a project for me yet. Admittedly, it might be pushed back a bit. That said, I had several conversations with Levy about a bathroom model and I found him to be extremely polite, courteous, professional, and easy to work with. Yes! GA Building & Remodeling not only gave a new look to my kitchen but they also made sure that it had the latest look and design. The crew did a commendable job and they were very professional.
