My roofing was misquoted at 2300 square and my home is only 1100 square I was then quoted a price of 34,000 for Roofing and gutters. Next he proceeds to inquire my birthday and what kind of work did I do, I thought how awful. I then realized what he was doing and ask that he not pull credit, so I pulled up my credit file to show that my credit was satisfactory. The salesman preceded without permission and pulled a soft pull credit and I suddenly became eligible for a $100,000.00 loan form a financing company called UPGRADE. In return I asked the salesman to stop and to not pull a hard credit. The salesman began to apply pressure. I ask what was the cost per-roll of Roofing he stated $42 per roll. At this point my mind was made up, “no sale” and the two other reasons for a no sale are due to the remarks,”if I wanted to play a game with you in high low pricing I could have,’ just to see if you would accept one.” I thought to myself well do tell, you’ve already done that when you dismissed yourself without confirmation of the visit and leaving your other sales person behind, without explaining to us that you were calling your boss and then later re-entering the home to proceed to say,”we can start at 27,000 per my boss.” So, with all of that of pulling my credit and bad behavior , the deal is off the table. The first quote was a price for two homes, and the other reason was for totally disrespecting the other sales person by Dismissing himself. Also refusal to confirm with the boss of time needed to confirm the offer and proceeding to stating the next visit the price will be $49,000.
I don’t know who is reading this and I’m gonna make a name to be known Jason you are going to need more training development and Steven is going to need another trainer.

I had my roof done. Very pleased with the outcome and the customer service received. Jon came by and explained what my concerns were and spent the time necessary on our property to ensure everything was done. Initially communication could’ve been better, but they stepped and followed through.

I'm very pleased with the installation process and with the siding that got done. Mark did very well as a project manager and was very informative and communcative. The only thing that I was very displeased with was my salesman.

The process from getting my roof inspected and securing roofers was seamless with Home Genius of Charlotte. Even when there was inclement weather they were right back early the next morning to get the job completed to my satisfaction. I appreciate all who played a part in getting my roof replaced.

I had a few issues that I needed for them to look over. I made two calls to customer service and And none of my issues have been resolved or addressed. The guys that did my roofing job , I caught them drinking on the job. They broke a concrete paver that I have down for my yard decorations. They didn’t put anything back like it was when they completed the job. My yard is still looks a mess because they left on you supplies everywhere and this is going on three weeks!!! I would not recommend this company.

Had them come do several of my windows. Matthew was the project manager and the communication was great and product was good. I had a small puppy and stressed the importance of not leaving behind debris for her to eat and they heard my concerns and were sure to pay extra attention to that

We had Home Genius come and do our gutters. We were pleased with the appearance and quality. Constant contact a definite plus with project manager Matthew. Would recommend

The roof looks great and was done in a timely manner and the crew was amazing with putting up the roof and cleaning. Mark was great help and kept me updated at all times and also very communicative.

Our roof was so awful! It was nearly 50 years old, and my father had neglected maintenance and proper installation that entire time. We had several quotes, and Home Genius was way high end, not going to lie; however, after hearing about and actually seeing samples of them, my husband and I decided to go with this company. The materials and the 50 year warranty sold us on our choice!
These guys did not disappoint. The roof was up in a day, with everything they promised. The crew left our property cleaner than they found it. Matthew, the project manager, came the next day to inspect the work and make sure we were happy.
Honestly, you can’t do any better with a roofing project. We were so impressed, we are contracting with them for wood replacement work!

I had HGE come out and do my gutters, after a minor hiccup but thorough communication the team and Project manager Matthew resolved everything and did a wonderful job on the gutters. Super pleased with the work and crew did great clean up of yard. Would highly recommend using Home Genius!

Home Genius thought they could do my roof in one day. It took seven days. It’s a Victorian house and is unique.

I have Victorian roof returns. Many people call these pigeon porches. Birds love to use these for nesting so I had spikes installed. Home Genius was supposed to put the spikes back up on the returns after the roofing was replaced. As it turns out they didn’t. The Project Manager has a drone for performing the final inspection, but surprise surprise, the battery was dead and we didn't get an aerial view. I was lied to, and signed off on the job as complete.

Later I notified the Project Manager and he said they would take care of putting the spikes back up. It’s been two months and they haven’t even called me since telling me no problem, we’ll take care of you.

During the final walk through I asked about my gutters that looked bent. Obviously they used these as a work platform. I was told that angle is the proper angle to handle the rain. It wasn’t. I had gushing water over a door and it was coming inside from over the top of the door. I had to buy new gutters.

I had some storm damage to some trim from a recent hurricane that I had repaired. Their contractor pretty much destroyed the replaced trim and now I need to engage a contractor again to get that fixed. There’s also a spot on the trim in the front of the house that they flat out damaged and this will have to be repaired too.

I was told I would receive photos as they installed the roof. I didn’t. They did send me pictures of two boards that needed to be replaced for the low, low price of $1,800.

At the end they were supposed to go over the yard to collect all the nails. I’ve picked up plenty of nails since they left. I even got one in my mower tire.

Use them if you want to. Be sure to stand on their heads until the job is done right. I was sold a convincing load of promises by their salesman. I don’t feel that they delivered on what was promised. I can only hope that the roof has been installed properly. I have some trust issues with Home Genius Exteriors.

Got new siding, gutters, etc. Crew was top notch and professional. When a circumstance occurred, they replaced it with no hesitation and made sure we were 100% satisfied! The install manager, Jon was professional and extremely amazing with making sure we got what we asked and needed for our house. I couldn't express how great he is at his job! Would definitely reccomend home genius to others!

I had my roof done, it all started with Nate my salesman and he presented beautifully. The lifetime warranties and the beauty of the product was phenomenal. The workers were very courteous and my project manager Jon was very communicative and it helped me tons to hear me out and ensure things were occuring accordingly. This went so far for me and I would highly recommend Home Genius for your remodeling needs

Home Genius Exteriors completed the work on my home in a fast and timely manner. The work was completed in just over a week. Covered the entire home on OSB sheathing, Kingspan greenguard house wrap, vinyl siding , new soffit and fascia. Installed shutters, gutters, downspouts and trimmed out all windows with new aluminum flashing. Employee's were curtious and hard working

Just WOW! Kudos to Jonathan Cordero !! What an amazing experience to see our house TRANSFORM each day by the expertise of the skilled craftsmen! Our old cedar siding was dried up and curling, the bees were drilling in and ruining our home, but thankfully, no more!

Sales people are very aggressive, shady tactics, providing false expectations, and deliberately lied about the state and condition the roof was in. This was all attempts to get a sale. Who in the right mind also tries to get someone to sign off on completion for the roof during the middle of the installation? Stay away from this business

I had my siding done and everyone was professional my project manager was Jesus and Jon and they were helpful and professional and made sure the job was done correctly. Would recommend. I love how my house looks.

The job started out rocky with the crews and they installed a couple things improperly at first and it took longer than expected but my project manager was on top of it and got it corrected at the end and the project finished beautifully. Jon was very communicative and responsive.

In full transparency, I don't know if this was due to the local site or the larger company. I called these people to fix a small siding issue. I sent them all the info and thorougly explained what i needed. They called me multiple times to confirm the appt.The day of the appt. they dont show up. Then i get a call from someone following up and I tell them no one ever showed up. He was surprised. He proceeds to look up the appt details and tells me that i cancelled the appointment. I did not cancel as i was waiting for them. He then tells me that they were going to give me a quote on a roof (WRONG!). I reiterated what i needed and he proceeds to tell me that the job is too small for them. Their onsite work must be better than their customer service. Thanks for educating me to never call you guys again for any job!

They’re roofing system is great. Very pricey though. Just make sure you keep an eye on protecting your landscaping. They destroyed ours.

Overall, i had a good experience. The crew was knowledgeable and efficient. The cost for roofing and windows was reasonable. The roofs (yes, two) were done without a glitch. The window...not so much; however, in the end, they came through and completed it perfectly! I would recommend them! Jesus and Jon were attentive and always aware of my concerns.

From the fun two who knocked on my door, the sales rep, those I spoke to on the phone, the crew chief James and his crew, and the awesome project manager Matthew. I have never met a kinder group of people. Everyone answered the hundreds of questions I had and dealt with my OCD. The entire project was done in a week to include windows, siding, and gutters. I have even added a door and they are returning next week! I highly recommend Home Genius!!

I had my roof completed on the house and garage. The crew was phenomenal my project managers were Jon and Matthew, they were kind enough to move yard furniture in order to protect my things. They even came back after the project to clean up on top of the team. Services are over priced, wanted 25k to roof my home. They will not stop calling me to get me to contract with them, 7 times in 3 days. The consultant that came in for the estimate wouldn't take no when I told him I cannot afford it. I will not be choosing any service with them.

Home Genius came in and did a thorough inspection of the roof from inside the home, in the attic, to see if the wood itself was healthy they gave me an excellent rate was able to provide reasonable financing; service was done timely quickly they cleaned up the yard made sure that all debris was removed it was a great experience I highly recommend.
