The whole roofing project at my house went very smoothly and the work was of highest quality. Elijah, the project manager was very kind, court, approachable and guided me through every facet of the project.

The work looks great and the crew did a good job, but the sales team was pushy and misleading. They made it sound like the final cost would be lower than the original quote, but we ended up paying the high-end amount—which I wouldn’t have agreed to upfront had I known. It was our mistake not to shop around, but I’d strongly recommend others do and make sure you fully understand what you’re signing.

Matt Bengel was so helpful from start to finish, explaining everything in detail and answering all of our questions. Looking forward to work getting started!

Lack of communication between your people,the crew did a good job but can't have nobody speak English in the crew,other wise good job.

I'm pleased with the whole process of having the roof resshingled. The points of contact were well informed. The installers were very hard working. The process went smoothly. Looking at the photos of the completed work, I'm very happy with the job.

Home Genius replaced my siding with beautiful Pacific Blue with white accents. The builders were there every day until the large project was finished and everyone was really communicative. They let me be on a payment plan. Definitely recommend.

The total experience with Home Genius Exteriors was excellent. The job was done quickly. The adjuster and project manager were very knowledgeable and posessed excellent communication skills. As a senior citizen the ability to explain options and procedures effectively was appreciated.

I couldn’t be happier with my Siding gutters downspouts, and complete home construction job done by Home genius exteriors. They were extremely efficient, clean, well knowledged, and did a great job! My whole job was done in two weeks And I have a large house. Brian and Ron did great with the inspection and starting the process. Nick, the project manager, kept in constant contact to make sure everything was running smoothly and if I had any questions or problems. Roberto and Freddy, the crew for the siding, were hard workers and extremely clean. They cleaned up the area every day.

They rang my doorbell 3 separate times within minutes. After the 3rd ring I finally opened the door because I thought it was an emergency… just to be greeted by a sales pitch. The same one they did last month. And the month before that. You’re not even allowed to do this in the township I live in so write that down. My husband works 3rd shift and I work from home so these sales attempts are extremely frustrating. Every time they show up I am in a call/meeting and my husband is sleeping after working all night. We’re in the year 2025 please reassess your outdated sales tactics.

Mason was an awesome project manager to work with. He was really flexible with my schedule and was really detailed with the work we had done. Very professional, would definitely recommend.

Excellent work. Worked steady and was very meticulous about the little things .cleaned up totally. I would recommend them to anyone. The project manager made sure everything was to my standards. Very concerned with my satisfaction.

I had a very disappointing experience with Home Genius Exteriors. From the start, communication was poor it was hard to get straight answers, and follow-up was inconsistent at best. The sales rep came to my home and gave a long, high-pressure presentation, trying to sell me on a “special deal” that was supposedly only available if I committed on the spot. He acted like he was “fighting” to get me the best price, but it turns out that’s just part of their pitch.

What really rubbed me the wrong way is learning later about their “re-hash” pricing essentially, if you wait and don’t sign the contract right away, they’ll come back with a drastically lower price. In my case, I found out the exact same job could be done for $5,000 to $10,000 less. That’s a massive difference, and it felt deceptive, especially after being pressured to sign that first day.

There are too many reputable companies out there to waste time on ones that use manipulative sales tactics and unclear communication. I highly recommend doing your research and getting multiple quotes before even considering Home Genius Exteriors.

However, after reaching out to company leadership, they took our concerns seriously and made it right. The team they connected us with was friendly, professional, and efficient, and we’re happy with the final result. Project manager just left & I AM THRILLED with the job this company has done! From start with Ron, to finish with Nick (project manager) and ALL in between, this roof job was top notch! All the men did exactly what they said they would do, plus they kept me informed as to what was coming up. My contract called for so many sheets of plywood & after the existing shingles were taken off, one more was necessary. Kevin (project coordinator) graciously ate that expense after the final walk around. Alvero (crew leader) did an awesome job with his men in this whole project. They were all such hard workers, pleasant & finished the job beautifully . . . I was amazed at how they cleaned up, too! My roof LOOKS AWESOME. Care was taken with such details & I can recommend this company whole heartedly.

We needed to have the siding on one side of our home replaced because of heat damage. Home Genius gave us estimates on various materials, and advice on what type of siding we needed to avoid the problem in the future. Color matching was very important since we only needed replacement one side of the house, and the new siding matches very well. The two men who installed the siding were both friendly and professional. They did a great job. Nick, the Project Manager oversaw the work, and came back when it was finished to make certain we were satisfied. Everyone, from the first day to finish, was easy to work with. We would definitely call Home Genius for any future needs.

All materials were delivered when promised without any shortages or errors.
The job was started and completed in one day, with one of the most efficient crews I’ve seen in a long time.
The crew took precautions to ensure the surrounding area was tarped to minimize nails and other debris getting everywhere.
The area was completely inspected and cleaned of all debris afterwards.
The project manager Riley was also extremely helpful coordinating everything.
He checked in on things several time during the day to ensure all was going smoothly.

The salesman was great in helping me pick out a good color for the shingles. The crew they had to put the shingles on were very professional and they did a great job making sure the yard was cleaned up. The whole experience went smoothly and love the extra venting in my roof.

Salesman (Tyler) was very professional and courteous. Knowledgeable and informative. No high pressure. Installation crew prompt, professional, hard working. Job was done properly and timely. Project manager (Steven) spoke with me several times for information and updates. He surveyed the job twice and came for the final inspection. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

I recently had to have my roof replaced and was beyond impressed with Home Genius. Everyone that I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable; and, more importantly, transparent about everything that needed to be done. Brad examined my roof and took photos to show me what needed to be done. He then took time to explain the options available to me and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. My project manager, Riley, contacted me almost immediately after I chose to use Home Genius. He kept me informed about when materials would arrive and when the work would begin. (This was a Thursday, the roof was completed on Monday.) I was not home while the work was being completed, so Riley kept me updated with texts and photos. The finished product looks amazing and I am very pleased with the quality of work. But, it didn’t end there. My deck, which had been covered with leaves and was a mess was now, spotless. Not only did they clean the remnants left behind from the work, they cleaned my mess. This small touch showed me the pride and care they put into their work. I will definitely use them for my next project.

Top notch work! My old roof was over 30 years old. It had a crumbling chimney with an old TV antenna that had blown over due to stormy weather with extreme winds. Tony was exceptional with his sales presentation and responded promptly to follow-up questions. Anthony and the work crew were punctual, professional, and very friendly. The outside temperature was extremely hot, but the crew was adamant about making sure the job was completed in one day working well into the evening. Clean up was great. They did an overall excellent job. My only suggestion to anyone financing a new roof is to make sure you are aware of any additional fees before they pull your credit report. Bottom line...the pricing was within my budget. I am very pleased with the end result of the entire project.

Received a new roof from Home Genius for a rental property in bad condition and they came out and knocked it out in two days during a heat wave. The sales rep, LeMont, provided an exceptional knowledge and understanding when assisting me with a quote. He broke down all options for me and was very clear, concise, and honest. The project manager, Luke, was extremely responsive and professional before, during, and after installation. He is the best!! Since this is a rental property, I was unable to physically be there, but Home Genius made it very convenient for me to sign anything and see the progress of the installation. The sales reps were extremely nice and easy to get along with. Our roof looks very nice and we waited less than a week for the installation date. The complaint I have that makes this 4 stars is there were no window protections put in place like our rep had shown and told us there would be. This caused a lot of anxiety as we had just paid 30k for new windows and the old roofing material with exposed nails were dangling in front of them half the time. The magnetic nail sweep was also done poorly. There were 2 handfuls of nails we picked up ourselves with our own magnet once they had left.

From the in depth consultation with Tyler, to the installation managed by Anthony, everything was professional and friendly. Initially interested in a metal roof for the durability, I was pleased to discover a shingle roof with the same 50 year warranty. They did great work, even with my unique gutter concerns and a 150 year old house. Any issues that arose were addressed quickly. Both crews cleaned the site and were careful with vegetation. The gutter installation crew is separate from the roof crew and the install date for the gutters was not as clear as initially laid out to me. So you just have to be a bit flexible with the installation date for the gutters. Considering the unusually stormy weather we've been having well into June, everything was installed quickly. Drone photos were provided throughout the process.

Home Genius Exteriors did an amazing job replacing all the windows in our house (30 windows total) in just two days. The whole process was very easy, the timeline was quick and the communication was great. The installers were super nice and they did a great job cleaning up and making sure I was happy with the finishing work, they were so respectful and personable! The windows look great, all measurements made were correct and we can already tell that the insulation of our 1911 house is improved. Would definitely recommend them for a project like this!!! Just sharing what I experienced. Sales rep knocked on my 90 yo father's door. I do the talking for him since he is a ripe old age. I said I would also like an estimate, but later changed my mind since we remodeled a kitchen and had a roof re shingled. A guy still showed up. I said my father only wanted repairs, but they don't do that. So I said we won't be going there either. Sorry the estimator wasted his time. Hus day just freed up since it takes them 90 minutes per stop, so I've been told.

They just finished up siding our home yesterday! I am BEYOND thrilled with the service and results!! The crew that worked on our home was fantastic. They showed up in the mornings and got alright to work and only stopped for a half hour lunch break. Yesterday they worked THROUGH ALL THE DOWNPOURING RAIN and wouldn't quit until the work was done. They finally finished up at 8PM. My wife and I bought them all dinner that night because we were so happy!!
Mike was our salesman and Eric the site/job foreman. These 2 guys are EXCEPTIONAL as well. Kept us informed through the whole process. I just can't say enough good things about this company!!

Installers did a great job but did not speak a word of English. So, no questions or communication.
The office people ignored my request to keep ladders off of the gutter, resulting in minor damage. HG gave me a credit to offset the damage.

These guys were amazing and worth every penny! The crew arrived Monday morning and we're gone by dinner time . We were left with a beautifully done roof and a sparkling clean property. I would recommend Home Genius Exteriors to anyone looking to replace a roof.

Jake, the sales rep and project manager was great. He answered our questions, checked in on the day of our project. He was very personable and a joy to work with every time he was at our house. He is great at getting back to a text, too.

My experience with home genius was rough at the start, but really turned around once I got a new project manager, Nick. There were multiple reschedules and no shows early on in the project when I had a different project manager, who has since left the company. Overall it took 3 months to get new gutters installed with 2 follow up trips for repairs until it was done right. I was frustrated by lack of communication and poor attention to detail in the work overseen by the first project manager. When Nick took over my project it was night and day difference and he was able to get the project across the finish line quickly with a solution I love. I do appreciate the company also being very accommodating of my work travel schedule. I would give my first project manager 1 star and Nick 5 stars, which averages out to an overall 3 start review. The project manager you get can really influence your experience so ask for Nick from the beginning!

Quick on scheduling. We did have some hiccups though. We were told that the work would be done on that day but they only sent 2 guys, took them two full days. They didn't do a full clean up as promised, so I reached out to the project manager, not much communication there. I reached out to customer service and was put in touch with the RM Ray. He contacted me same day, got the dumpster picked up the next day, and came & did the finishing clean up. He is the main reason for the 5 star, made us feel heard and understood. So Thank you Ray we appreciate you.

Home Genius Exteriors have been amazing. They were on time, sweet, honest and thorough. I would recommend them again, and again, and again. Caleb quoted me an estimate and I went straight for it. Val, Jesus, and John were amazing as far as helping me find a great time to complete the work and get everything done. My roof looks amazing and their crew made sure they cleaned and provided an excellent service. Please runnnnnnn to HomeGenius Exteriors they will not disappoint!!!!

The work was great but if you need to cancel like I did then forget it in the fine print you have to send a letter to California within 3 days of signing the contract. I contacted the salesman who was polite but never told me about the letter If they say the letter didn’t make it in time you still owe a percentage of the contract price. if you can afford it they do excellent work. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign until you are positive because you are stuck after that.

As a retired roofer I can tell you these guys know what they're doing and provide quality work. They completed every phase of my roofing project in a timely manner I had hoped for and expected. The crew was polite, professionally and quick to attend to any issues we may have had. Our salesman was polite and didn't push for the sale making us feel comfortable with his presentation. He gave us options and explained the pricing clearly to us. From pricing presentation financing and job completion it was a pleasant if not great experience.

So I had a problem with the metal by the roof blowing off during a thunderstorm. I emailed Home Genius and not 5 minutes later I got a reply that it would be fixed. 10 mintutes later I received a phone call and reassured it would be fixed. This past Saturday the crew was here and and done within an hour! I am very happy and very pleased!! Thank you for your great response!
Very friendly and knowledgeable, my roof was removed and replaced in 1 day. Clean-up was extremely well done no nails or staples or roofing materials.
