The salesman that came to my 88 year old mothers house according to my mother was very high pressure. He took pictures in her attic and showed her pictures from his laptop that showed mold in the attic that meant the roof was leaking. I looked up in the attic after they left at my mom's request. There was no mold in the attic. The pictures they showed here weren't even from her attic.
I don't know how a company can send someone out representing them who is so dishonest and will lie to people just to make a sale.

I was iffy on using the company from the moment they got done with their inspection. The inspector/sales rep told us that there was water pooling on the roof because there hadn’t been any precipitation for a while, he showed pictures but it was hard to tell the exact location. It turns out that ice was from condensation dripping off the furnace vent and not a drainage issue like he stated because as of today, there is still ice build up in that location.

I kept telling the sales rep that I needed time to think it over because, he would not accept that answer and kept pushing and pushing. He eventually came down on the price by about 20% (red flag) and I ultimately said yes because I knew the roof needed replaced.

The installation seemed to go fine, I should have moved some of the garden ornaments out front because they smashed them all but at the end of the day those are replaceable and my own responsibility. The foreman didn’t give me time to climb up on the roof to inspect everything prior to signing off on completion, which I should have pushed to do. Now every day that I look at my house, I find new things that I’m not happy about. I’m including pictures of some of the areas that are less than satisfactory, I just painted the siding last year, and now I have to buy more paint to touch up quite a few areas. In a couple of spots where they pulled the trim off to install the flashing, there is now a gap with the potential for water intrusion behind and under the flashing which kinda defeats the purpose. Also, per the manufacturer guidelines if the shingles are installed in cold weather, additional adhesive should be used to ensure adequate sealing which was not done. A month later I have numerous shingles that are lifting. The ventilation that they installed seems to be done well, however I have not had time to climb up into the attic yet.

Cons: Pushy sales rep, quality of the install did not equal the price.

Pros: Attic is now properly ventilated, product itself seems to be high quality.

Installers were efficient and cleaned the area after work each evening. When all the work was done, they did a magnetic sweep for screws and nails. Roof looks fantastic.

To start, their free inspection and estimate was very thorough and informative. Their salesman made sure that we got the roof that best fit our needs, even though that wasn't the most expensive option. He also helped us get the financing that worked for us. They were there to install much quicker than we expected and they only took 2 days to install! Our house is older, so they took extra precautions, checking for lead-based paint. They also cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. I honestly was dubious at the salesman's claims, but I have seen the difference in our energy use since installation of the ridge vent that he recommended. Oh, and it all came with a warranty that I thought sounded too good to be true, but even after reading all the fine print, I think they're truly just a company that realizes the best way to stay in business is to make sure your customers are happy. The roof is done, we'll be calling them again soon to replace our windows. They're absolutely phenomenal!

Sales Rep and and Manager explained the difference between a Erie Roof and other roofing companies. The sales people were not high pressure and everything went like they said it would.

We got a new roof from Erie after a sales rep came to our house. They have a fair number of product options and financing. The crew was very efficient getting the work done. So far so good.

Weirdest experience, not good. A rep came out 5 days ago. Got on our roof, showed my husband a couple samples. He sat in his car, we assumed he was running the numbers. Then he left, no goodbye or next step info. I called and spoke to the GM today, Rob? He stated the notes said the Mr. didn’t want the wife (me) involved so they didn’t do the estimate. What?? I was home the entire time, no request to come in or meet with both of us. GM was not apologetic AT ALL even when I got my husband on the phone. Extremely unprofessional response! We told him THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Then asked if an estimate was even done. He again referred to the notes, so NO, it wasn’t. He asked when he could come out when we would both be there… AGAIN??? No thank you!!!

The employees were very knowledgeable and very nice. They worked hard and did a great job! It looks so much better now.

Everything was done exactly as per contract. We're very pleased with the completed roof. I am impressed with the crew who installed the roof. It was a big job and they completed it in ( 1 ) day. Pleasure doing business with Erie Home .

My experience was good but I would like to know when I will receive the paperwork for my warranty for insurance discounts thankyou in advance

The Erie representative did a good job explaining the different types of shingles and I chose fiberglass. The crew was there early on the day they were going to install the new roof, and finished it in one day! They put a new venting style on the roof which looked a little funny at first, but now I like it. It wasn't the traditional vents put on in the past. This new style should help the air flow better and reduce my heating and cooling costs. Overall, they did a good job.

Long detailed sales pitch with a bit of high pressure, but product and process was explained thoroughly. All questions were answered. Install was done in a timely manner with care for my property. Final inspection from the project manager was completed timely and done with great care for the details of the work completed. Overall pleased with the work. As far as the product, we haven’t had it long enough to decide if it’s as great as the sales pitch makes it out to be. Time will tell that.

May 17, 2025 not quite a year after roof was completed we noticed ripples in the roof. We contacted our contact who came and looked over the final project and was told he would have someone come and figure out the issue. It was supposedly fixed, but still not happy with what we saw. We paid a lot for this roof and for that price I want quality workmanship. Today while completing yard work we noticed the opposite side of the roof is also rippling. Being Saturday, I’m sure we won’t get an answer, however we did call and leave a message with our contact again. I am not going to pay $125 service fee (minimum) which is the fee to have Erie come back to check workmanship after the roof is a year old, for poor workmanship or faulty product.

5/27/25 - Project manager came to our home, he did a great job explaining what I was seeing and making ure everything is still great with the roof.

The guy who came and gave me a quote was very pushy and I felt like he was trying to bully me in having Erie roofing do my roof after l told him about 10 times I wanted to look over his very high quote I finally had to kick him out of my house very disrespectful

Erie Home did a very good job in arranging replacement of our shingles. They even did an inspection and recommended some areas of replacement on spots that were damaged due to water intrusion. They were accommodating as the original shingle colors were not to our liking proceeded to show us some other options. The installation manager also made an additional trip to bring a samples of the flashing so that we could choose something that color coordinating versus just going with a couple samples that will provided by the sales individuals. I would say they go the extra mile I'm trying to address any concerns you have with their product and/or their service. The installation crew was very efficient in hard working in tearing off and replacing our shingles. Even after they were done cleaning up, I only came across a couple shingle nails that had fallen into our landscaping rocks around our house. I was really impressed and how they cleaned up after themselves. Because of the large size of our world it did take them almost two days, but they did quality job!

I would recommend Erie Home and the product they support to my friends and family. Now the truth test will come as we enter the spring stormy season and, if needed, their warranty of their product for material and labor.

Our new roof looks great! They were very careful removing the shake shingles and covered the areas around the house with tarps. None of my plants were damaged. After the roof was completed everything was cleaned up and I haven't found any nails. I would recommend this company. They aren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Needed a new roof on our home and Erie delivered. Was able to get installed and had a professional team from start to finish.

The whole process went very well. Erie got my roof all done in one day but followed up a few days later to make sure that our strong winds didn't affect my new roof. My favorite part was the people, everyone one I worked with, or talked to was very nice, knowledgeable, and always took the time to answer my questions from beginning to end, and the follow up was so quick. I was very impressed. A few names stand out; Greg, Trevor, Tim and Alex. The day after they finished my roof, I was heading out to my car and my neighbor stopped me and commented on how good my roof looked, and the next day another neighbor told me it looked good. Erie fixed and upgraded areas that were not done right the last time my roof was done. I am very happy with my roof and Erie home. Thank you guys!

I contacted Erie because I had a leaky roof and it was past time to deal with it. I heard from them within 1 day and a representative was at my property in two. He spent several hours with me and was very thorough about my home and Erie products. I agreed to an Erie roof and materials showed up at my house a few days later. So from start to finish I had a new roof within a week. I am impressed with my new roof. It is attractive and we had a few rainy days since. No leaks. The crew cleaned up very well afterwards. You would never have guessed that they were here. Erie has been very professional through the whole process. I was also able to get financing as a well-designed monthly payment that is manageable for me.

Erie Home did our roof and the gentleman that came were very respectful. I would give them 5 stars but the color was wrong the first time. However, they came back a week later and corrected it.

Very happy with the results! Materials were delivered on time with no products missing. The following day the guys showed up and much to my surprise and satisfaction, they removed the old asphalt shingles, shingled with the new beautiful ones and cleaned up after themselves all in ONE DAY! The workers were friendly. They stayed out of the way. Materials were here on time. If there was an issue the Forman let us know right away. They did their best to get materials cleaned up from the yard.

Trenton and Tom came out and did a roof inspection. Listened to the pitch and while the cost surprised me, I was still willing to evaluate the system. This visit was on May 9th. I asked for two specific things: first, a detailed quote specifying tear off, install labor, materials cost--second, I asked for a copy of the service contract so I and my attorney could review prior to entering in to an agreement. That was 5 days ago and I've received NOTHING. Perhaps you forgot? Update (5/15) Just received a phone call from Erie home. The manager on the phone said "Erie Home does NOT provide detailed estimates". I DO NOT RECOMMEND CONTACTING OR ENGAGING THEM INANY WAY!!!

They were fast and very professional. After the install I had 2 very minor issues that were taken care of in just a couple of days. I have never worked with a business before that was so focused on my satisfaction.

The install was spendy but now that's it's completed I feel it was worth it. These guys are on the happy side of you get what you pay for, and maybe just a little bit more.

If you need a new roof, seriously consider Erie Home.

DO NOT RECOMMEND if you don’t want to be charged $1500 a sq then I wouldn’t go with this company. Also the sales guys who come to your door think they are sneaky they fluff the price 2k-3k then they give you a discount to make you think they are giving you a great deal but just selling it to you list price. What a joke.

Great team of workers, they did such a great job. Super fast and left my roof looking great. Highly recommend!

Crew worked long hours at a brisk pace. Spent a long time cleaning up old shingles, nails and debris. Communcations was only possible through Tim #! That wasn't a problem. Satisfied with the work, but the real satisfaction depends on bad weather for the serious test.

Erie was able to get a quality fiberglass roof installed in just a few weeks after signing the contract. Roofing crew was courteous and cleaned up each day. The ridge vent that we installed has helped lower the temperature in the attic immediately.

This company was 100% across the line. Their salesmen were professional yet personable and easy to connect with. The company stayed in contact with each step of the way with materials dropped off and roof completed the very next day. They were efficient and professional throughout. They cleaned up their mess and even cleaned up a few extra items we had yet to haul away ourselves! We will definitely be life long customers of Erie!
