The workers came on time and finished my roof in one day. The job was done properly and they cleaned up afterwards.

Outstanding employee's and service. Left for work at 0600 and when I arrived home at 1500 that afternoon the roof was 90% done. The roofing crew was great. Went into my house and a couple of hours later it got quiet so I went outside and they were done and everything was cleaned up. Would 100% recommend them.

I had Erie Home do my roof. They were very courteous and my job was completed on time and they did a very good job with the clean up after the job was completed. The process was explained to me step by step.

I recently had a new roof installed bt ErieHome and have been extremely satisfied with the results. Joel Sexton came out and did a thorough inspection and then clearly explained where I had issues and what could be done to correct them. I wanted an idea how much a metal roof would cost. It was 60% more than a conventional roof, and I concluded I could not afford it. Their price was higher than I thought it should be, but their materials and warrenty helped make the decision. Installation was all done in one day, and their cleanup was thorough. I would recommend that you give them a chance to bid on your new roof.

Our initial consultation with Erie Home was very professional, including a complete digital scan of our roof which we were able to review to agree on pricing. The install team arrived early on the agreed day and was able to finish the entire tear-off and install of 4000 sq ft of roof by mid-afternoon. They did an excellent job with cleanup as well. Only issue I had was that when the install team arrived, I could not speak with any of them, as none spoke English, and they started tearing off the roof before I was able to reach the install supervisor to ensure someone bilingual would eventually be there if any problems arose. Luckily no problems and the new roof looks great.

This company was really professional. Arrived on time, did a great job. My old roof was a mess. Had two layers, was leaking, and not properly vented. They fixed all of this and my ugly chimney. Employee Joel Sexton found mold on my attic insulation, and agreed to remove it. You will definitely get what you pay for from this company.

The roof looks great but the clean up from the job was not done as I expected. I understand it was snowing and getting dark when the job was finished but shingles and nails were left all around the property. I also did not have any face to face communication when the job was finished. I did have someone stop by the next day to get me to sign off on the job but I did not have any face opportunity to walk around to see debris left behind as I had two small children in the house and as I said it snowed during the evening and night.

They showed up early with full crew that went to work and were all business. Finished my steel roof same day and cleaned up mess. Great look, I'm pleased!

Very professional from the first contact. Joel was very knowledgable of all products associated with a new roof, including how a house should be properly ventilated. The install team went to work immediately upon arrival and our new roof was completed in one day. The second cleanup team was amazing and meticulous. We love our new roof!

I highly recommend using them, the price is a little more than the average but it is completely worth every penny.

At 1am I still couldn't get their salesman to take no for an answer and get out of my house. I had to sign the contract then call the next day within their cancellation window to get out of it. They are well trained and will bait you in ways you won't even notice until you get some time alone. HIGH pressure sales tactics, beware of any company that immediately offers you financing and will start talking themselves down as soon as you question pricing.

Great experience from beginning to end. They were in constant contact with me, making sure I knew when my job would start all the way to the finish.

I received a new roof and was very pleased with the professional of their company. Top of the line product and service.

Works were partially done late into the night ( using flashlight) on the first day. Return few days later to complete the job and clean up the job site.
After the first pass, the job failed the ground level inspection at various locations such as improperly re-attached gutters and sidings, and other problems with the metal roof tiles.
The crew returned few weeks later to correct the noticeable poor completion of the job. Everything look fine after the correction, but it makes one think, what other problems were there if the inspection was done on top of the roof?

We are very pleased with our new metal roof on our house.
Scheduler left phone message on Friday asking if Wednesday would be an acceptable date, I called back on Saturday leaving a voicemail saying it would be OK.
Installation manager arrived just before 8 am with dumpster and crew arrived shortly afterwards, laid out tarps around our house, set up ladders and proceeded to tear off the old roof.
Crew worked efficiently and cleaned up and completed the install by 4:30 pm.

The entire process, from the quote to the clean up was handled professionally. All questions were answered before we signed the contract & again at job completion.

A few days ago, a sales rep from Erie came to our door and said they were signing people in our neighborhood up for quotes. He said that if gave him my contact info and scheduled a quote immediately, it would be free, but if I didn't, it would cost us $500 to get a quote later. That would be a huge red flag if it were true, but I know it's a lie because we got a free quote from them earlier this year, and their website has a big button on the homepage that says "Get My Free Estimate."

Either Erie is one big scam, or, what I think is more likely, they have shady hustle culture bros working on commission and aren't providing sufficient oversight to make sure they're not straight up lying to customers. Any company that goes door-to-door is immediately suspicious to me, but this was much sketchier than usual.

When we got a quote earlier this year, the sales guy was fine. He was no more pushy than any other roofing company sales rep. Their price was shockingly high, and we ended up postponing our roof work anyway, but I would have no reason to complain if it weren't for their door-to-door sales guy.

Erie Home did a beautiful job installing my new roof. Cal and his crew worked 2 very long days. They were polite, professional and answered all questions. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. Thank you!

Erie Home did a great job! The workmanship was superb! And what’s best of all the city inspection was passed with flying colors! They cleaned up after themselves and everything was done in 1 day.

From start to finish my experience was great. My consultation was full of information and material samples which I appreciated. I didn’t plan on getting a new roof but the financial options were a huge value add which is one reason I decided to work with Erie Home. Tear down and installing a new roof roof 1.5 days which was impressive. All my neighbors came over to take a look at the work that was done! They cleaned up after their work; collected all debris, nails etc. and at the end of the day, “you get what you pay for”. Happy to say I have a great looking roof and the process was truly hassle free. Highly recommend; quality and price compliment.

My experience with Erie Home was very pleasant and rewarding. I feel confident that my roof is in tact with no leaks and that the value of my home has increased. The only point of improvement I would recommend is to have an English speaking crew member to aid in communication. As it was, we made due.

The young man tried to tell me that something was wrong with My WiFi that's why he couldn't show his presentation. I told him that's funny. Everyone who came out to my house to talk to me about the roof had no problem with their Wi-Fi on their computer or their phone. Then he said well we're changing over our computer. He got mad at me because I didn't go with metal I picked the fiberglass shingle. So I sat there for 2 hours and I can't sit that long. So I told him you going to have to take all this stuff to your office and work on it. Then he started yelling at me saying he going to finish right here. When a person yell and there hands go up say what they going to do in my house. I'm calling the police he was mad took all his things didn't Apologize or say I'm sorry.nothing just left

Guy tried to Rob me. with out a Gun , Double my square footage, for a higher Prices ** too high' with out trying, *to find stuff to support your charges. " Unfounded Reports** & on Top of that: he was late' , never call to say he was running Late.

Sales rep very knowledgeable. He took time to explain improvements in roofing tech since my last roof. Workers were very efficient. Scheduling was very fast-10 days from order to roof work done. Much appreciated.

Good service. Installed the roof in a day then they dropped the ball on communication. They said they would call the next day to say when they would be back to install the gutters. No call and took a week and half to be back to install the gutters. Everything looks wonderful.

Very pleased with entire process of getting a metal roof (looks like asphalt shingles) from Erie Homes. Although, pricey, the look of the roof is high end. Large work crew had roof installed in less than 10 hours. Would highly recommend if price is not an issue. Warranty and fact roof will never need to be replaced were huge factors in going with Erie Homes

Crew showed on time. Although there were some labor issues that arose during the roofing job, remaining crew and supervisors filled in and completed the job only 1 day additionally to proposed 2 1/2 days. Also men returned to re-do some siding work on a roof return and fill some nail holes. All things considered we're very happy with the job/work and look of the new shingles. Kolton was great and very through. Many compliments on the roof.

High pressure sales tactics. Kept trying to force me into getting it setup. I told them just interested in a quote today. Price went down considerably before they left but still 10k more than anyone else. Pretty much kept trying to bully me into approval. Even tried scam tactics like asking to see my ID to check for credit approval. I said no why check my credit when I don't want to spend that much money and already have a better offer

I had a good experience with Erie. The work was done very quickly, and the mess was cleaned up before they left.

They spent two days sending me a message reminding me of the appointment on Saturday the 10th in the morning, I drove an hour and a half from my house to the property where the roof was going to be replaced and they never arrived even though a man named Alex had confirmed to me the day before, no They called me and blamed a lack of education and respect, if they start like this I don't know what the job would be, I don't recommend anyone like this in this way

Well, I am on three days in a row of receiving an email with "As per your contractual agreement, we kindly remind you of your commitment to share you experience...". So here is my honest review.

My 3 stars rating breaks down as follows.

1 star for quality of products. The quality of products used is higher end.
1 star for the warranty. My roof comes with a 30 year transferrable warranty.
1 star for how quick my roof was replaced
No star for the price being high
No star for hounding me to leave a review (honestly, I will get to it. A weekly reminder maybe, but not every day throwing it in my face that it is part of my contract that I do not remember agreeing to)

Other information.

You will overpay for this company. Two guys will come into your home and give you a long overview of how good their company is and the quality of their products. I have helped roof maybe 6 homes in my life. For all of their questions that intend to scare you about other materials and other companies work, I had an answer for all of it. Showing it doesn't take much knowledge to see what they are selling. Sales tip: if your potential customer shows they know your product/service, stop your sales pitch and get to the nitty gritty.

After a couple of hours in your home, they will make a hard close on you. As I have seen now with a couple other reviews, I feel the time in your home is part of the pitch. You will just say yes to get them to leave. I see others saying the same thing that happened to me; delay, don't say yes right away, and they will drop the price
thousands of dollars. If I was not in a hurry to get the roof replaced, and had more free time to get other quotes, I probably would not have said yes.

Furthermore, they claim to be a huge company which, okay, they probably are. But when I start talking to my family and co-workers, and no one has ever heard of them (I live in SE Michigan), I tend to question things they said.

Finally, there were a couple communication hiccups. Everyone gives their number and card to call. But I was told someone would call me by Wednesday, that call did not come until Friday. On that call, I was told the gentleman would be stopping by my house to access the attic so someone needed to be home. Luckily, my son happened to be home from college that day and didn't have plans because dude never showed and I never got another call. What if I left work to be home and he never showed. I was upset he never showed and I would have cancelled the job had I been the one forced leave work.

Then came the day of installation. I got a call from the crew that said they would be running late because of problem after problem at the previous job. No big deal. But when I got home that day, no work had been done. I had no idea when the crew would be coming now since I had not received any other call.

In the end these are minor things but when your sales pitch in is centered around Quality, Warranty, and Service, and you expect top dollar for that, I should never have to make one phone call, let alone being left in the dark 3 times.

P.S. You do not need to reply to my review Erie. Our business transaction is done. My roof got replaced, you got your money, I am writing my obligatory review. No need for any sort of apology or explanation.

The sales team, Adam and Corey was extremely thorough and inspecting and measuring my roof on the house and garage. They took plenty of time explaining and showing me pictures of what they took while on the roof. The price was competitive and the warranty is outstanding. Installation was done very efficiently. They did a total tear off and finish the housing Garage in one day. I highly recommend Erie home.

Have vaulted ceilings and the leaking became evident as the drywall was staining. Erie came out and replaced the roof and repaired the OSB in winter. Had spoke with another contractor who would not warranty the job unless I purchased new sky lights from them (not the source of the leak). Erie got the job done professionally and even offered to clean the debris that fell into the house when the existing skylights were reset and resealed. They were a pleasure to work with.

After several returns, job is great. Mr. Stoneman was outstanding. He was very thorough and personable. An asset to Erie.

Erie did a great job on my garage roof. The only gripe I had was with the clean up. They did come back and make it right afterwards.

Erie inspected my old roof and installed my new roof. They were very professional and Installation was quick. They also made sure that everything was cleaned up properly before they left. I recommend Erie to anyone that needs a new roof or even repairs. Thanks Erie, I love my new Roof

Overall we are satisfied with the job that was done. The sales team was very professional and friendly. We were able to keep in touch with them throughout the process. The inspection and sales pitch took almost 3 hours, which is just too long. We didn’t appreciate having to negotiate on price so much and there is a bit of regret that we didn’t shop around more for a lower price with probably the same quality of work. Actual roofers who came out were a team from Elite Roofing, not Erie Home, which wasn’t mentioned in the sales pitch.

Ordered some windows from Erie. They did a wonderful job. Crew came out to replace 7 windows and were done in just 1 day between the 2 of them doing the job. My house has never felt warmer. Definitely super happy with the outcome!

Professional experience in spite of weather delays.The team showed up before daylight, got their equipment ready and as soon as it was light enough to to work, they began. Work could not be completed that day do to lack of enough material. But they showed up the next morning ready to complete, but could not due to icy conditions. Came next morning and completed the ptoject.

Erie Home was a quick and easy roofing experience. The salesman explained their products and process clearly. He was able to work out a quote with care that was doable for me.
The installation was efficient and professional including a thorough clean up.
