United Restoration was great to work with.
A tornado hit my neighborhood and they came by to check out the damage. They helped me work with my insurance company and followed up for almost a year to get the job done.
Repairs were done quickly and the new roof looks great! Lucas was very helpful through the whole process.

These guys really came up clutch when I was having difficulty negotiating with my insurance company. They stuck with me and never bailed even though it dragged out for almost 2 years and had to go to appraisal before finally being approved! They showed up several times to present proof of the weather damage to the insurance agent and despite all of the insurance companies resistance United Restoration's persistence and perseverance finally paid off and I was able to get a new roof! Shout out to Lucas for his patience and professionalism though this whole ordeal...much appreciated! Oh and the roof looks awesome by the way! They did fantastic work!

URDS were fantastic to work with. Jeff came out and looked at our roof, and noticed wind damage and explained we had a good chance to get insurance to cover a new roof. The company has robbed my insurance company they have destroyed my house they are a scam I have pictures and videos to prove of there work it’s absolutely horrible my gate around my chimney leaks horrible they broke one of my hips by slamming shingles on my roof of course Patrick the owner says it must have already have been there b.s I had put a bath fan prior to them installing my roof and I would have noticed the broken hip and would have ask them to fix it before roofing over it they did come back out to fix my flashing around my chimney did a complete hack job on that also looks worse than it did called Patrick back and he told me it’s hard to find someone that can flash around a chimney wow then why are you on this business horrible now I had to hire a real roofing company to fix his hacks and I’m so disappointed in this man and this company he is a great talker but as far as business he sucks I would not recommend this company and they should never be able to do work on roofs a complete scam artist

This company does great work, they installed the roof, and the OSB decking, up to code in one single day. Regardless that is was the hottest day of the year. Joshua was a pleasure to work with. He guided me through the whole insurance process. This company is highly recommended for anything that has to do with a roof, and or the insurance process. I am very happy with my experience with united restoration!

They did great. It took them almost a year but it was due to supplies. They scheduled it around my son’s schedule so he wouldn’t be home because of the noise.

Definitely would recommend! We had severe hail damage to our home. Gavin was there right after the storm and helped us thru the whole process. They worked with our insurance company to get the most they could for us. John was always able to answer all our questions and made everything very easy. Everyone that worked on our home was very professional and they did a great job. We love everything we had done!

Horrendous Experience, Avoid at All Costs

I hired this company to replace my roof and siding and it has been an absolute nightmare. Their incompetence was immediately apparent. They did a shoddy job, leaving gaps and exposed areas all over. When I tried to contact them to fix their mistakes, I was met with excuses about why the siding was poorly done, the soffit couldn't be replaced, or why the j channels were all cut differently. One manager called me to "smooth things over" by explaining what a work ticket is and telling me I was being rude for not accepting his apology. The production manager, John never returned my calls, showing a complete lack of professionalism and customer care. On top of that the the workers trashed my property, left cigarette butt's, empty water bottles, and daily lunch trash in my yard. They "accidentally threw away" my shutter, forcefully moved my permanent shed ultimately breaking the sidewalls, tossed my patio furnature causing rips in the wicker, and trampled my garden beds.

I am beyond frustrated with this company's lack of integrity and their refusal to stand behind their work. It's clear they are only interested in taking your money and running. Save yourself the headache and expense; look elsewhere for roofing services.

My husband, Jon, and I are very disappointed in the “service “ from United Home Restorations. Everything started off great, Jimmy was responsive came out to our home looked at our hail damaged roof and said he was happy to work with us. He said our insurance provider is known to be difficult but he would fight for us. As soon as the insurance report came through, Jimmy and the company ghosted us. They will not return calls or texts and when my husband called the office after 5 weeks of continually trying to get in contact with Jimmy directly the lady in the office sounded like they had no record of us and that a supervisor would contact us- which they still have not. Incredibly unprofessional. There’s zero chance I would allow them up on my roof or to provide any service now, given how unreliable they have proven to be in the beginning of the process. They did decent work for family/friends in the past which is why we reached out in the first place but I highly recommend choosing a different roofing company. Few and far between are contractors that actually care and follow-through.

Matt did an amazing job of working with me through the insurance process and assisting to get the whole roof approved. Was able to “bundle and save” and get the gutters done at the same time for a decent savings as well. Workers were all professional and extremely efficient. Would definitely recommend United Restoration to anyone needing roof/gutters.

Update:
Communication was not great throughout the process and could be improved on. Our roof is completed, did take longer than anticipated. Over all the completed project turned out nice.

First review:
Our roofing claim began in September, it is February and we still do not have our roof completed. It feels like it's one lie after the other AFTER we have made payment.

They have our money and we just recently received a pile of shingles on our roof.

The install is pushed back, if scheduled at all. Always an excuse.

Would recommend using a different company if you would like solid communication and a completed job.

Having Matt as my Claims Rep to walk me through this process was an absolute blessing! He was very detail oriented and kept me informed throughout the entire process. The process from start to finish was pretty seamless. United did a great job with my roof once the work was started and I would recommend this veteran owned company to any one in need of roof restoration due to bad weather!

I had a more than excellent experience with this company. Their customer service is outstanding, and I worked with Matt who did a superb job in dealing with the insurance company. He kept in constant contact with me and I would definitely recommend them. The roof looks great!

They did an amazing job on our old roof and their customer service was very helpful. They helped us work with the insurance company and help us decide on which type of roof to select with many different options. They replacement part was very fast the company cleaned everything.

United Restoration did an excellent job on roof replacement. All aspects of working with their company was very easy. Our rep was Quinn and he was great. He was very knowledgeable in everything we asked about and helped us navigate the insurance claim allowing us to get the roof damage completed covered by the insurance company. The roof replacement team was very fast and clean with their work as well.

We had a great experience with United Restoration. We worked with Lucas, and he was great. Though it took awhile to get materials in, once they came it the work was done well and quickly. Would use them again and have already referred others to them.

Helped me through the insurance process. My insurance denied my claim at first, but working with Quinn we ended up getting a full roof replacement approved. Good work done on the house also and a lifetime warranty. I highly recommend having them inspect your roof for insurance claimable damage!

I'm in the Grand Rapids area and contacted United when I was notified by my insurance company that they were cancelling my coverage due to the age of my roof. Lucas came out and looked at the roof and showed me that the roof had quite a bit of wind damage most likely caused by severe winds we had in the area several months ago. He recommended that I contact my insurance company and submit a claim. He also came back and worked with the adjuster. The adjuster agreed with Lucas's assessment and covered the replacement of the roof. The insurance company still cancelled my policy but it was really nice that they gave me a new roof as a parting gift. The roof on my house and garage was installed in a day. The crew was very respectful and their cleanup was excellent, and it looks great! They even helped me remount my basketball hoop on the garage. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I contacted United Restoration to look at my roof.

This company was late to do my job. I’ve had leaks ever since. They never filed for depreciation on my job and now that they’ve stolen the company from the person who used to own it, they’re showing up at my place of business harassing me attempting to price gouge. Do not use this company.

I'm a first time homeowner, and I had no idea what to do after a hail storm. I didn't have a list of professional contacts to reach out to for help with my roof. After talking to people around me, they came highly recommended. AND I AM SO GLAD THEY DID. My roof still looks great. Zero leaks even after a ton of snow and SO MANY STORMS. I hope to never need to make a claim again, but if I do, I know exactly who to call. Plus they help veterans!

THEY LEFT MY DECK RAILING SCRATCHED UP, TOOK A CHIP OUT OF MY DECK STEP.
