AutoZone Auto Parts - Kailua Kona, HI

I order a part last week and I was told it was going to be in the following week Wednesday. Wednesday came and I called. I was told by the young gentleman that yes they have it in. I was at the store two minutes later. Next thing the lady helping me says it doesn't say they received it. I told her I called literally just now and was told by a young gentleman it was in. She checks the back and nothing. I asked when is it going to be in. She tells me it was suppose to arrive Tuesday yesterday. Okay its Wednesday so where is it? She said there's no tracking number to track it. I said okay so when should I expect it than if its still not in. She asked if I would like to pay for it because usually when customers pay for it up front it gets here faster.
??? How does that make sense? she wanted me to pay for something that I ordered last week, that they don't have, that they cant seem to track down... What? I said no I'm not going to pay for something you folks don't have and that I can't see if its even the correct part. She said I can reorder it. I said I already ordered it last week and was told now 10mins ago on the phone it was in. Why would it need to be reordered. She asked who I spoke to I said I don't know It was a gentleman how many you got working right now? she pointed to an older gentleman and I said no he sounded like a young kid. And it was the kid at the register right next to her and she says oh he's new its his first day. Okay what am I suppose to do with that information? What did he look at in the system that says you folks have it but don't? She repeated herself and suggested I pay for the part so I can get it. I told her again no. Then she says she'll reorder it. Don't know how that helps if there's already an order for it to come in but okay.

Battery died and thanks to the 2 year warranty and the amazingly helpful staff, I was able to do a trade out! So sooo thankful for the friendly and helpful staffAlways going above and beyond to help their customers!

Had to replace a dead battery. When I called to see if they had the proper size in stock, the customer service person was knowledgeable about what I needed and was thorough in explaining what was optimum for my situation. Autozone will even install the battery provided they have enough personnel to do it.

What an amazing experience working with Pua and Jake, they really make a difference. It's wonderful to know that Jake is helping her with heavy lifting when she's about to have a child. All the while Pua is helping me get the exact part that I need and making sure it's the correct part for my car. I've never seen seen such good customer service and I will definitely be back and recommend this business to all of my family and friends! Big thanks to AutoZone for having such friendly staff and making sure that I have exactly what I need before I leave!

We went in and as soon as we walked in the door we saw a display for a bundle deal that included oil, oil filter and an air filter so we decided to grab that deal since it was a good deal. At the register the cashier couldn't get the deal. He said, "I'm sorry I can't give you the deal because the computer isn't recognizing it". I said, "It is advertised right there in that big display" while pointing to the display. He says, "I don't know what to tell you. I can't give you the discount." So I ask to speak to the manager and even she doesn't honor the display's bundle deal because apparently the sale was done 3 days ago even though they were still advertising it with a big display. The manager did eventually give us a small discount for the store's mistake. Beware of their advertised deals. They may be advertising invalid sales.

Bought wiperblades for my daughter's car but old blades were stuck on. Very professional nice employee helped remove old and installed the new. Sorry I forgot her name.

NERA D. IS THE BEST PERSON EVER!!! She was sooooo kind and soooo helpful and went above and beyond to help me and provide such a positive experience at AutoZone I appreciate her soooo much!!! She deserves a raise for being an amazing person!!!!

Got my things via order pick up. I was informed that the funnel i had order was out of stock, but the lady that help me, Nera, was kind enough to show me my options and refunded me for the item that they were out of. Altogether she was kind, helpful, has amazing customer service skills and made my experience better compared to my last one with another worker.

Michelle was vey helpful in obtaining my brake parts for my vehicle she went above and beyond! Highly recommend doing business with auto zone .

The store was clean and well stocked in spite of the pandemic. The morning staff was amazingly cheerful. One young man took the time and explained how to choose the part I needed. I even noticed possible gift ideas!

With the Emergency clamp kit, my chevy cruze's engine looks brand new again. Quick purchase, mahalos to you Auto zones team in Kailua kona

Staffs are courteous and friendly. This location is conveniently located at a little plaza with other businesses and I guess the closest AutoZone from Kona Airport.

We need to grab some essentials for our car throughout our Big Island venture and glad it’s just next door to this Japanese restaurant where we gonna eat for lunch.

After many trips to this store over the last few years because it's closest, today's visit was another grumpy and unhelpful employee too far. Unfortunately, this seems to have become a chronic problem and AutoZone has lost whatever business I may have brought in. Thank you NAPA for respectful and helpful service!

They came out and checked the battery of my car with a special device to diagnose the problem. And they run a lot of checks for free. I have a very polite staff and the price of products that you might need for your repairs are usually low.

Plain ole Aloha. She and staff made sure I felt safe. Figured out the problem made sure I got the help that was needed and even fixed the problem when it came right down to it didn't have me buy expensive part that I thought but found the cause

Had a great experience. My cashier was Crystal and she was knowledgeable and eager to help. Not just me but all the customers that were in front of me.

Having spent 10 plus years in customer service within the motor trade I like to think I know how a business should be run and how customers should be treated.
This AutoZone store does it all correctly. Clean, well stocked and knowledgeable staff ( especially Michelle & Clint (hope I got that right).
The only down side is they are always busy, maybe need another employee because of their own success...
