Very big target, basically has everything. Has lots of unsold Switch 2s if you are interested. Basically had no problems and staff members were very nice.

This is the best location I’ve ever been to. The selection was vast, they had my size in every item that I wanted, there was staff that was easy to find, and they appeared to want to be helpful. Best target experience ever!

Target is my go to store for most all my needs. The environment is inviting, clean, well stocked *no empty shelves), has freat employees any the pricing is reasonable.

Each visit is worse than the last. Pricing is vastly different in store than online pickup. Pickup is promised within 6 hours but never ready even close. Canned speeches from the Manager when you ask why the issue keeps happening are insensitive as he is unable to even pretend to care or be willing to improve the store’s processes. They know the problem exists. They know it inconveniences local customers daily. And yet no effs are given. I guess if you have a constant churn of tourists spending cash then leaving you don’t have to give a crap about customer service. What a disgrace.

This Target is great. It's a great alternative to Ikea, which, unfortunately, isn't present in Hawaii and won't ship here.

I have always been pleased with this Walmart store in Hilo, HI. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and it is well managed.

Perhaps the busiest Target I’ve ever been to. It’s always busy, 7 days a week, all hours they are open. Hilo really needs another Target.

Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Employees were attentive and kind yet not overbearing. Product availability was complementary to meet peoples needs. The store was amazingly clean. A bit disappointed in the pharmacy hours but due to the atmosphere of the store was willing to wait out for the opening especially since most of the pharmacy employees were friendly and personable. Prices could be a.bit more than other stores but carry better brands with a better shelf life so willing to pay the difference as in the long run better on my pocketbook. Overall a well deserved 5 star experience everything I shop there. That's why I always make sure I interact with the cashier because they are people too. Remeber your attitude rubs off and that affects others who come after you.

GERMS! Bad Germs!! My guess would be that there is a problem with air circulation, but that just conjecture. What I do know is that after a 3rd time, I can confirm that the germs in the air are bad. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have visited this location, I have gotten a bad cold that lasts about 3 days! I live on the West side of the Island but occasionally I shop at this Target when I find myself in Hilo.
It is ashame because the selection is always good and the employees are great.
...before one of you Covid enthusiasts has to chime in, no I don't wear a mask. And no I don't have nor am I ever at risk for covid. Simply put, my health while shopping should NOT be determined by my wearing PPE.

Target is, in my mind, the go to store in Hilo. I like the store layout (it’s understandable and the aisle labels are detailed); the store is always spotlessly clean; goods are affordable (often cheaper than Walmart, which doesn’t care) and the staff are friendly and kind.

I love shopping at Target online, then Drive Up to pick up my order. It's so easy and convenient, since good parking is hard to find--especially during the busy season. I also like that Target doesn't ask you to select a time on when you're able to pick up your order. They just have it ready within 6 hours or sooner. I also like that you can place a Starbucks (some locations) order and delivery person will bring it together with your Target order. Thank you Target and Starbucks!

Love shopping at Target. I've been using the order online and pick up service and they are always very courteous and friendly.

Buying 3 heavy items I needed help to get them into my car. All I had to do was ask and a man was called to do that. Perfection!!!
This was very true last week but before I learned about the need of some employees to have second jobs because their hours are being curtailed during January thru March. This is happening while a push for new hires is happening? Why?

They had exactly what I needed and the friendliness of the lady who delivered it to our truck perfect timing for my grandson's birthday party

Not a good experience. Went in to get 3 things. A wall mounted shelf, speaker wire and raw burger. I came out with only one, the hamburger. Evidently the employee didn’t know what speaker wire is, so I was told it was out of stock after showing me what she thought was speaker wire, and you only had 2-3 different mounted shelves and they were too small for what I wanted.

Your prices on clothing are ridiculously HIGH (Hilo, Hawaii). The quality is average to below average... WHY????? You are price gouging. Ever since you stopped selling MARONA ladies pants, tops etc., I stopped buying those items from you.

Home delivery from Target! Hooray! The delivery area was expanded and I can now get my groceries and other purchases delivered to my home. It is such a blessing and a convenience. Great job Target!

This is regarding the Starbucks, not the Target. But either hire on more staff or retrain the drink standard with your baristas because a dry cappuccino is supposed to come with two shots and weight should be the cup and said shots, only foam. The was a full blown vanilla creme to the brim and not a drop of espresso, asked the barista for a splash of sweet creme and ended filling a grande with steamed sweet creme so it's not even like a og vanilla steamer. That much heavy creme steamed isn't good anyways, but it's appalling they handed out a dry cappuccino that weighs like a latte. reestablish your recipes or train on how to read hand written orders, bc this is ridiculous

I like the clean floors, wide aisles, air conditioner and no music. To just be in the store is peaceful for me.

We just love the store clean easy finding stuffs what I needed for love the rewards. The best price easy to return stuffs no hassle happy !!!!

This store is super greedy and jacks up prices to unreasonable levels. Just last week they increased all kombucha drinks to 150- 170% of previous weeks price to the point that it's cheaper to buy it from the expensive local health food store (same brand $3.99 versus $6.99). So buyer beware, they're not honest people.

Very competitive pricing on the island. The store is always clean and well stocked. In comparison to other stores like Walmart and Safeway, Target outshines them both.

A very useful and easy way to get what you need in a reasonable amount of time! I recommend trying their seasoned hamburger patties

The only retailer on the windward side besides KTA with fairly priced groceries. Their selection of locally produced items, local favorites, and local produces is very limited so I tend to do an online order for the basics (except rice) then go to KTA for the fish, meat, poke, ramen, rice, etc. On the way home I'll have the Target people bring me the stuff they have that's cheaper: soda, chips, crackers, etc. (all the junk food)

Pretty good prices, for Hawaii. There is a Starbucks, and Pizza Hut in store. Sadly, no more postcards, or fresh leis. More groceries, than some mainland stores!

Today I had to return an item and it went super smooth very helpful staff. Update 12/3 2023 i witnessed a woman in distress who's daughter got lost in the clothing section and the staff who aided her were prompt to help find the missing little one and to soothe her with words of encouragement that her daughter will be found! And that is a positive impact for people who shop at this target and at stores around the world. Thank you

Target had everything I needed for the family in-stock from fireworks to groceries, clothes,toys and toiletries. Staff was quick to help and Check-out was a breeze. Great Experience as always.

My visit to our local Target was productive as my first in person visit since Covid and health issues. I was delighted in entering the store near Customer service I secured a needed riding shopping cart! My health assistant had her push cart and we shared my shopping list and stayed in close contact by our cell phones!

I was blessed to have my like niece and nephew to shop for me as I had health issues and no car! They whbould shop at our Hilo Hawaii Target these past few years! They always helped me to save money and were authorized to use h my EBT card for my food purchases!

It was always something they took out time to shop for me and introduced me to the Good and Gather Target brands and shopped fir this 79 year old Auntie❣️ I look forward to continue to shop at our Target and was happy to see how well organized the store was! The clerks and even customers were very helpful to this Kupuna in the market riding shopping cart! Mahalo Catherine
