Great customer services. Needed so boxes for moving and a hand held screwdriver and the associate went out of his way to help me find the one on sale.

The Fairbanks store is going DOWNHILL! Impossible to push a cart around because all of the aisles are full of customer orders or items waiting to be put on the shelves. Most employees have zero clue about their department and no interest in helping customers. The app is even worse as it shows hundreds of products that are not available in Alaska listed under “in store today” with the top of the page clearly showing your Fairbanks store as my store. Absolutely ridiculous - Go to Lowe’s!

They carry a wide selection of building materials and tools which is what I usually buy when I'm there. Nptably, they keep a good supply of wood pellets for pellet stoves which are good to have for when the power goes out during the winter. Other wood burning stoves, I'm told, contribute to poor air quality; unlike our power plant in the middle of town.

Amazing customer service! Amazing food! I got the steak and pickles cooked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be bringing my family back here. Well deserved $50 tip!!

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever received in my life.

Not only will I never shop here again, but I'll actively recommend that no one shop at Home Depot ever.

Ordered and paid for a shower 45 days ago, was supposed to arrive in the store a month ago. No communication from Home Depot or the Fairbanks store to let me know it's delayed. I called customer service 10 days ago, because my order number no longer gave me a status from the original confirmation email. They told me it was already at the store, it just hadn't been checked in yet. They transferred me to the store, who rudely told me it was currently en route from Anchorage, contrary to what customer service told me. She did not offer to help in the slightest, did not offer to call me back, or make any estimate on when it would arrive. A truck from Anchorage takes 6 hours. It's been ten days. The only other time I ordered something to ship to store was a snowblower about 6 years ago. A similar situation happened and it turned out they put it on the floor and sold it. I have no reason to believe Home Depot gives a shit about the customer once they have your money, whether you receive the product or not.

UPDATE: Went to the store. The shower I ordered and paid for is on the shelf. Went to customer service and was told "I don't know, it's lost, 'dotcom' has nothing to do with us." I still don't have the shower I paid for that's sitting on the shelf.

UPDATE 2: The Fairbanks store manager refused to let web customer service order a new one for the store so that I could take the one off the shelf. The only option they could come up with is to reorder and have us wait another 10-15 days. All while there is one right there. The worst customer service just keeps getting worse.

What are the chances the Fairbanks store is selling my special order that "arrived but never got scanned in."

God forbid you need help from the assistant store manager, Diane. She is extremely rude even if you are being nice and respectful. My husband and I had been waiting for the 5x8 utility trailers to be ready and calling in to ensure we got one. We were finally told that they were ready and to come in but when we got there she yelled at us saying that they were not assembled and that she could not sell them. That’s fine, we understood that we had to wait until they were assembled which is why we had been calling for weeks to see if they were ready yet.. but when we tried to explain and tell her that we spoke with someone saying come in, she rudely cut us off and started screaming in our faces. Upon leaving the parking lot, we asked one of the workers that was outside assembling if they had finished the trailers yet, & they said yes. Online showed that 6 were in stock but only 3 were out there. We went back inside to explain that we were told that they are already being sold. She immediately began yelling again and even tried to discipline another employee for telling us the truth. When we were checking out and was offered military discount by the cashier due to my husband being in uniform, she was AGAIN very rude to us and the cashier. Military discount has been offered every time we’ve made purchases so again we were confused on why she was such a disgusting human being towards us. Seems as if personal prejudices against certain customers are at play.

Not too happy with the order pick up. When we went to the app and entered our location, some one "completed" the order, we waited a while then had to call into the Service Desk to find out where our order was. It was found, and they bought the order out. But we shouldn't have had to call into the Service Desk.

I have my pellets delivered from here. Saves me carrying 50 bags twice. They will deliver as many pallets as you need and the fee is still only $50. Wish I had more room.

Cassie and Sherry were so helpful and kind to me today. I needed help finding an impact driver and charger. Cassie went out of her way to find what I needed in the back of the store and made sure that I got the best deal available. Even though it took a while to locate my items, she never showed frustration or annoyance. Overall, great customer service and great experience!

Needed a box of nails for a dewalt electric nailer. All of the product is locked up, ok keep theft down. I asked two different people for help but they had to call someone. Waited 10 minutes and while I did I found what I needed on Amazon, won't have it today so I now have to adjust my jobs at home but I know I'm getting them. Also there is too much stuff in the aisles, I'm surprised that Americans with disabilities aren't complaining, there is no way to maneuver a wheelchair in there. In conclusion Home Depot is not a good place to go if you're in a hurry.

I haven’t had a good experience yet ordering from this store. Right now I’m waiting on an appliance which was promised mid-august but is still not delivered. Home Depot’s own tracking web site show’s it’s been in Fairbanks for 3 weeks but the store can’t find it. A national representative called 4 days ago to say they found it and expect a call in 24 hrs. Still no word…

Curbside pickup and customer service is terrible. I experience disabilities that prevent me from shopping inside so rely on curbside pickup, however each time I’ve placed a curbside order I’ve experienced difficulties with them knowing I’m there and have to call the store to track someone down. Today I cancelled my curbside order after waiting over 30 minutes because no one would answer the phone in curbside pickup or customer service. I’m done with Home Depot!

I am working on remote site and needed some EMT conduit. I placed an order and had someone pick it up and put it on a plane to send to me.
Home Depot shorted me on the conduit. Even though I received emails that my full order has been pulled and ready for pickup. Once my person I have picking it up gets there, the order is short. But Home Depot decided to charge my card for the full price of my order.
I called and it is more like an oopps. They said my card was refunded but it will not show or a few days.
it is funny that I had received multiple emails saying my order is complete.
Nothing saying we decided to short your order and giving the rest to someone we know better.

Try not to shop here unless it's absolutely necessary. It's just been one disappointing experience after another with big projects. Had to redo a bathroom, they wouldn't honor a price reduction WITH a receipt that said the policy was within a certain time from purchase (and it was)... had to call corporate and complain. They said they'd escalate to the manager, but never heard from him and just gave up. Bought a stove, dryer, and fridge at the same time for a new house. Took an extra week to get the appliances because nobody double checked the order was being shipped from anchorage. Then when getting delivered, we took a whole day off work to accommodate the movers, who pushed us back twice in the same day. Then THEY cancelled our delivery on us and had to reschedule - causing us to lose another day of work to accommodate... its just overall bad business here...

Had no problems getting items and when we had a question the workers there knows what to do especially when you have nuts and bolts. They are nice and I loved it. So simple but the self check out was a little confusing but at least workers helped us through

Appreciate the staff actually willing to help in the store . If they don't know something, they will find an employee who does. Kudos to honoring vets .
