I placed an order yesterday for a pickup today scheduled for 10AM through the pro counter. The guy at the pro counter was not only knowledgeable but extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I could give a 5 star rating right there. I paid the full amount and left with my receipt.
I showed up at the order pick up counter for the release paperwork (opposite side of the store) and stood in line while three people behind the counter helped one person. Two walked off and looked directly at me (making eye contact) without saying a word.
Finally my turn came and my order wasn’t ready and was told to come back later. I asked how I will know when to come back. The person behind the counter started talking about how they “maybe start to work on your order now”.
I replied that it didn’t answer my question and then had to repeat my question.
“You’ll have to come back and check”.
Seriously Home Depot? This is NOT how doers get things done. Every time I have to visit the order pick up counter, it’s a horrible experience. Last time they sent me to the pro counter which was closed and I stood around waiting for nobody. Someone asked me what I needed and they called the manager who started things going but seemed to have an attitude (probably from dealing with the order pick up counter).
I would leave a zero star for the pick up desk alone.

One of the things I like about Home Depot in Omak is the customer service. Sure they have what I’m looking for and so much more, but there is always some employee willing to stop what they are doing and tell me where to find what I’m looking for. It doesn’t matter which part of the store I’m in—gardening, lumber, or tools—the staff is friendly. Checking out I never fail to be greeted warmly by staff who help with any of the self check-out counters. Great place to shop

Went there to get a piece of lumber and have it cut... Isn't that what home depots are for???
Picked my piece of wood out and when I went to ask to have it cut down to size, I was told the saw is out of order... Well now what am I supposed to do? There was no ideas to try to help me or to tell me when it would be fixed, not that I had an option to wait, it was a project I needed to complete that day.. wow Omak Home Depot, what are you even there for? I hope someone that cares actually sees this.

Customer service is a joke! I’m 1.5 hours from Home Depot and need de-icer. I looked on their website and saw the Home Depot in Omak had 198 bags in stock. I drove the hour and a half to get some. Got there and without even looking the lady told me they didn’t have any cause it’s off season and if their website said they had it it’s for delivery only. She then finally looked and said weird we have that many but I have to go this gal will help you. She tried but the lazy people to get the stuff said it’s off season so they won’t pull it down to sell any. I wouldn’t go back to buy any in season. Go to smaller mom and pop shop to get your goods. These people are a joke and don’t care. They won’t get another dime from me.

Purchased appliances, this time it was a smoother experience. The order went well, communication was good, delivery personnel very professional. It raised my other reviews that I had encountered before. Hope this continues, we need a good local place that we can count on, and be treated as a customer not a hinderance.

Worst experience of any Home Depot I’ve been to. Called in a large wood order, they had it wrapped when we arrived. Drove 200 miles round trip to find over half the wood was broken and unusable. Had to go back losing a day of work where literally no one offered help and when it came to loading somehow everyone was too busy. When we voiced our frustration to the store leadership they said that’s a bummer with no apology or ownership over the situation. I will gladly drive an extra hundred miles to anywhere else. Never returning to this location.

We just spent thousands of dollars on Milgard windows from this store. They arrived unwrapped without any protection. I was told that’s not Home Depot’s problem as they come from Milgard. I’m pretty sure Home Depot is a real big account for Milgard and it would not take much effort to request the windows they sell to be shipped at least with some cardboard protection.
Plus not one Home Depot employee offered to help us load all these windows. Very disappointed.

Always find what I want here.
Good store, helpful people.
We'll, this last visit did not go well.
I asked for a pallet of retaining blocks to be brought to my truck.
After waiting 30 minutes. The fork lift arrived, I was yelled at to move my truck from the parking spot to between two orange cones.
Then, got in the truck bed to move the blocks.
Yelled at again to get out of the truck and move outside the cones.
I can not be in there loading zone until after they finished and left.
They know their rules, but I don't.
The rules change every day.

This store is a cluttered mess with people's orders. You can't even maneuver your wheelchair down some isles let alone a shopping cart. If you try and call or email a specific department they just act so rushed and don't take the time to tell you the info or rush off the phone.
If I had another option to shop at another store similar to this in Omak I would.

If I'm wrong, I stand corrected but isn't the job of a Home Depot employee literally to provide customer service? I mean their vest literally says to ask them for help. I'm so sick and tired of always getting the "Sorry, not my department" response when I ask a question. Even more infuriating is when you ask them about a products availability and they are often times quick to say, "We don't have that, or we are out." vs looking in the system to actually verify it! I asked for some chairs in a certain color. The employee promptly said, "If they aren't out in the garden area, we are out."....only to pass by literally 70 freaking chairs by the front door!!!!! If you don't want to actually do your job, quit! Spent 4k on supplies and waited 46 minutes to get an employee to actually help me load. 46 minutes! Counted at least 14 different employees walking around the store.

Spent a while there, and the employees were kind and patient, although we still couldn't find what we were looking for, it was a nice location.

Love this place but Maps sometimes confuses this with a visit to Grocery Outlet. Another favorite destination across the parking lot. Home Depot curbside pickup is my usual visit. So convenient.

Went in looking for snow blowers and asked the eldery ladies at self check out for help. Instead of checking inventory they just said "they are out front". I went out front and checked that there were none. So I went back in and asked if they had any in stock and the older ladies said "we don't have them then" and then went back to standing around and talking to each other. The simple dismissiviness and rude lack of interest to help was extremely off putting. I've been to this Home Depot before and have had great service, but the older women at the self check out were incredibly rude and lacked any semblance of manners.

This store has really gone down hill. Employees don't even acknowledge you, the online ordering system is a joke and the customer service desk and curbside pick up is a complete disaster. Very disappointing. They also don't seem to care to plow the snow in the parking lot for their customers.

I haven't ever given Hdepot a good review before, but I gotta say the GM has made some changes in employees who have made a huge difference. The pro desk is 100x better than before. The Pro-Desk set me up with a new account, and it is quickly becoming my go-to. Good place

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
