The Home Depot - Batesville, AR

Went to pick up sand bags for my in-laws. Drove into the lumber and other items area. Parked about 10 feet from a kid cutting 2×4's in length for a customer. He looked at me a few times while he was cutting and when he was done, he and another kid ( both about 17 or so ) just walked past my car. I had to stop them to get service. Kids. After they loaded my car, I drove around to exit. In the middle of the exit area was a large item on wheels. A female employee was helping a elderly man with his questions so I sat there and waited, thinking I was going to be checked to make sure I received the correct items. After a few minutes another employee walked past and I asked if he would move the item so I could leave. He smiled, moved the item and said, " Have a nice day ".

I enjoyed my visit to home depot. The people there were extremely nuts. They helped me find Everything I needed.

I purchased refrigerator from this store with delivery in 4 weeks. I drove 500 miles to where fridge was going to be delivered to since I live out of state. On delivery day I found out that my fridge will not be delivered because of roads being slippery. Roads were just fine with snow plowed. I've called Batesville store and talked to Sierra,girl that have sold us this fridge. When she found out that our delivery was canceled she went far and beyond to make sure that we will have our delivery. She offered us same floor model with delivery next day. Unfortunately floor model was banged up and bit damaged. We ended up canceling order and buying fridge somewhere else with same day delivery. I just wand to say Big thank you to Sierra for her efforts and time and for everything she did to help us. That's how customers service should be. Thank you Sierra,ee will see you soon.

Years ago customer satisfaction was a big part of retail stores. The employees would do their best to fulfill our needs.
Went to Jonesboro, Ar today and remembered that I needed a few items and knew that they have modified items for me before. Got what I needed and went to the customer service and requested them to cut one piece ....not a dozen....one 1 inch emt conduit in half so I could fit it in the car. They looked at me as in a daze and said that it was not their job. ...... the items was left at the customer service . While I was leaving the pickup area, their was two more employees and asked them. They said that they cut lumber but not glass....plastic or metal.
I can see not cutting glass but 1 inch emt or pvc conduit.
In today world....maybe they just don't know how to use a hacksaw or an battery operated bandsaw.....just think....5 minutes or less of their time could of make this an 5 star review.
But some people just can't reach.....

The quality of help at this Home Depot is absolutely stellar. I've never run into so many kind, helpful, pleasant people at a retail store before.

Additionally, they'll do the right thing. Today I found an item that was marked with its regular price with a sign underneath showing it had been marked down about 20%. The sign should not have been up, but the manager named Tricia gladly adjusted the price down for me.

These people have also cut lumber for me in weird measurements, helped me find things, and handled all the returns that come with moving into a new home super well.

Can't recommend enough. Great place!

Purchased refrigerator and washer/dryer get home 40 miles away to look at the receipt and see where I've been charged for 2 washers. These employees are not attentive and do not care. Then ot top of that when I call to straighten it out they want me to pay for another dryer while I wait 3 days for my money to be refunded on the original order. If I ever get this straightened out I will never return to that store.

Need more employees and better help. Idk if it was so bad bc it was a Saturday or what. But we spent hours picking out flooring, beadboard and tongue and groove ceiling planks just to leave with none of it. When we went to pay 7 pieces of the beadboard was broke and he expected us to still accept it like that. We told him we weren't paying for that, and he still argued with us. So we left and won't be coming back to this location.

Not much help around the store when I needed to find specific things, but the cashier was beyond sweet and courteous!

Drive up into the warehouse is awesome, no help and yes nobody wants to work. Its a pain to get out of when your ready to leave especially headed south. Need a light, bad planning . They do do military discount better than Lowe's
Lowe's is lacking for sure.
Way to go home Depot

No one to help loading lumber. My 70 year old husband had to do it. Person working at kiosk in lumber area seemed to be annoyed that I didn’t want 4x4x8 (7) that had holes at least two inches wide and one to two inches deep. There weren’t any without holes so we had to pick through what they had. I’ve never been disappointed in my Jonesboro store.

Came in from out of town for the April 8th 2024 eclipse. We found a nice, quite corner in the back parking lot to setup some imaging equipment. The staff was all very polite, the store was very clean, we were lucky they were cool with us being there all morning and afternoon.

So thank you all that were there, and if you unfortunately did not make it outside because of your job duties to look up, I will leave you with these two photos of my experience there.

Recently I took my Mother to get a new washer and dryer. She made the purchase and scheduled the delivery date. The associate that helped us assured us that they would hook it up. The day of the delivery, the guy refused to hook it up - even though we had purchased new hoses. Mom refused the order and asked that her account be credited. The next day, we went to Lowe’s in Mountain home and purchased our washer and dryer.

This is a great Home Depot location. Love that we have it nearby for everything that pops up on projects. Shout out to Tricia in the paint Dept.. she is awesome with customer service and does a great job! She deserves a raise

This store is a "mini" Home Depot and has very limited stock. Also they are overcrowded and often the isles are blocked by product to be shelved later or displays. Shelves are in a bad need of dusting and cleaning. And items on shelf are often in the wrong place or buried by other items. And very difficult to get help.
