If you get a refund on a gift card it can only be used in-store. If you try to use it on their website or through the app a red text error will be generated stating the number you entered does not look like a valid gift card number. Please be aware of this.

The lack of help at the store is just sad. There are some good folks there that want to help and will. There are also a lot of young people who you can tell just aimlessly walk around the store avoiding contact with customers to help. I needed help loading a bunch of mulch onto my trailer, 40 bags of it. No one to help and when I asked one guy he questioned why I didn't just load it myself. I'm now reluctant to go back.

Delivered shopping carts. Their computer had the date wrong. They thought I was delivering tomorrow. But, they went ahead and got me to a dock.

Well in the Depot, you have to wait for someone to help you (which is understandable), but when we were helped, we were very satisfied with the service and our problem was solved. I love ❤️ that.

This location is another home depot that has everything you might need but it seemed like getting help from staff was a bother. Normally I get tired of people asking if I need any help when I'm just going to get deck screws but this location was the opposite. Otherwise, it is another home depot that has anything you need to start and finish a home project.

The Home Depot in LaPlace is so much better than the one in Kenner at least to have employees that can help their customers

Placed an order online from Metairie since it was the nearest location that had a step down drill bit in stock. Drive there just to have the item canceled. I only found out through email with no explanation on why it was canceled. Picked up the remaining items from my order (that were in stock at the home depot near me). Get home to find one of the packages were opened and only containing around 50 out of the 100 pieces that should have been in the package. Can't return them since I can't prove I didn't open the package. I didn't realize I had to inspect packages to see if they were open on a pick up order.

They never seem to have enough staff around, and I think the prices are a bit high. But it's convenient, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they have what I need 99.9% of the time. Excellent garden center for a chain store, tbh. Average Home Depot experience.

Employees very helpful, but could not find one of the items that I was looking for-Christmas rush has already started. Thank you Home Depot!
